    Decent putt-putt. $6.50 per player.

There aren't a ton of places to Putt-Putt around Columbus, and the ones I have been to are either a little run-down, sketch, or busy/kid-ridden. Bf & I stumbled across Putt N Play and have been able to enjoy their well-kept course and the batting cages. The workers are all relatively friendly and nice, but since you don't really interact with them for too long there's not much that can go awry. The main building is small but offers an indoor arcade, clean bathrooms and a larger party room for birthday packages. Batting cages are about $1.50 for 15 pitches (I think). The bats were kind of beaten up and I get kind of grossed out at putting a community helmet on my head, but it is what it is. Putt Putt will run you $6.50 per adult player. Kids and Seniors are less. Parking is nice, as they have a large lot all to themselves. If you're in a putting mood, this is a pretty good place to check out even if it is a little south of Columbus.

I read a couple bad reviews before going, but we loved this place. We bought a Groupon since my kids like mini golf and the other place nearby is usually crowded. I was expecting to show up to a run down place, but it was quite the opposite. Everything was clean and the course was really nice. The thing I liked about the course is that it's fun for kids AND adults. It's challenging for adults as well. There is a spinner board at each hole that lets you add a little more fun. Some include rolling the ball with your hand, switching ball position with an opponent, and even standing on one leg. Obviously this feature isn't for everyone, but we had fun with it. There is also more than one cup per hole (I didn't notice if this was on every hole or not) which makes you to add a penalty stroke or subtract a stroke. This is more for adults/teenagers I would think and the sign says they don't recommend it for 7 and under. Next we went to the batting cages. The helmets and bats were kept in order and right outside the cages with the disinfecting spray right there so you didn't have to go into the counter to get a helmet or bat. My boys' favorite part was the soccer cages. One was out of order, but the other one was fine. Some of the balls were a little worn out, but my kids aren't soccer stars so it was really fun for them! My two youngest are both under 7 years old and they had no problem kicking the balls. The staff was really nice and this place has a private parking lot which is a huge plus for us. We liked it so much that we went back the next day. I cannot believe we didn't know this place was here even though we've driven near by it several times.

So we did, and we grabbed some golf clubs and some golf balls that were sitting nicely outside. It was all very quaint and small-town Midwestern, and I'm glad that the owners provided this option, instead of just being closed, because my children really wanted to play mini golf. This putt-putt course is nice because it's wheelchair friendly, and it's landscaped with beautiful foliage. It was pretty clean and tidy, considering no one was there to man it. The course has a little pond that was empty when we visited, but I imagine it's filled during the summer when there are more people visiting. This is a nice place to play a game of putt-putt -- no frills, but when you have young kids, they just want a club and a ball, and a few holes to hit into. You'll find that here. Hocking Hills Mini Golf is located in a big shopping center that has antique stores, a boot store and an ice cream parlor that's open in the summer. I think most of these stores are seasonal, so don't get your hopes up for ice cream if you visit during the winter or early spring, like we did.

Putt putt is a lot of fun and there were plenty of holes. I do thing the holes maybe could have been a little more challenging yet it still was a lot of fun. This one is themed dinosaurs which is pretty fun. They also played some good music in here too. There's a few arcade games but definitely a way to escape the heat if you're looking for something to do for an afternoon with kiddos or even on a date.

This was $150 for two hours, 20 people, two rounds of golf for 10 of them. That's a great deal, considering that's about the price just for the golf, and the kids had a blast. And as a parent, it was pretty fun too. Staff were superb, helping us set up and clean up. Communication was great start to finish; I stopped in to check it out, scheduled online, got a call a week before to finalize, and had great help that day. The place looks small from the outside, and is not huge, but the small party room (there are two and can be combined) was plenty big enough. You can decorate but not with tape or nails, etc. There's a fridge in one of the small rooms, and a rack for food/supplies/presents, plus several tables. The birthday girl gets a lighted button, glow cup, pen, and a ticket for a free game next visit. There are 18 holes, and they were fun, for kids and adults. Everything is lit with blacklights, and there are "chargers" to amp up the ball glow. Disney music was playing, fun for the kids, and tolerable for the rest of us. I saw couples and groups of young adults playing too. They're moving into a bigger place over by the Little Caesar's at Agler and Stygler. Moving during May 2023 so closed, then opening in June. We'll definitely be there.
