Today in the Norwich branch.. there was one teller and 11 people in line.. I was there at the end…read moreof the line for 25 mins.. a man further up the line said he was there for 45 mins waiting.. He stopped a BoA employee Elizabeth/Beth.. he asked if there was another teller and she VERY rudely replied to him that his 45 mins wait wasn't unusual... she did absolutely nothing to help 'speed' things up.. With the BoA's closing I would think they would replace the horrible employees with much better ones.. Beth has got to go..

Over all the only good thing is that this bank is all over the country. Getting someone on the…read morephone is difficult, their hours change the atm is frequently out of service etc this bank has a lot of work it could do like installing multiple drive up atm they have the lanes but just not using them. i switched to this bank from the other local one i had previously been doing my banking at. i…read moredecided to switch as it was closer to my home big mistake!!! after my phone experience with them not once ....twice....but after the "third time" i was totally disgusted with the way they have their customer phone system set up!! when you call it goes directly to the main office with "no option " to speak directly to a certain branch!! ( ridiculous!) the recording automatically puts you in a " so called "q" then proceeding to tell you what call you are & your wait time!!! well .... the 1st time i was caller #2 w wait time of 8 minutes (again ridiculous) 2nd time i was caller #6 w wait time of 14 minutes... 3rd & last time i was caller # 9 w wait time of 25 minutes!!! i felt as though i was calling a radio station to win concert tickets ... but w this bank you dont win anything!!! it was urgent that i speak w an employee as my debit card was stolen & it was being used racking up astronomical chargers in the meantime!!! dime bank is the worst bank ive ever dealt with.....never again!! after all the problems i had entailed with this "unprofessional " business i was done with them!!! so unacceptable & very unprofessional!!!

I have been a long time customer at Charter Oak . I go to the Niantic CT branch and the staff…read moremember Christine is the only one that is ALWAYS courteous and seems to know what's going on! I recently was in there for my husbands power of attorney , to give them the paperwork . Azis the branch manager was rude . He told me the paperwork needed a "stamp" on it and while I was waiting on him I sat in the customer area and I called Waterford main office and verified my paperwork from my attorney did not need to be stamped ! He was argumentative , as was the teller named Ben ! Manager was rolling his eyes, sighing , just acting like he was on a big power trip with MY money ! Donovan started out like that but he quickly turned it around and I have no problem with him . The teller named Christine has ALWAYS been courteous ! For 8 years I have been going to that location and not once have I ever been treated like I recently was ! I question now if I should even keep my money there as I do not trust them anymore . I did speak to Juan at the main Waterford office and he was a pleasure to speak with and I did tell him what had happened . Juan assured me that he and Azis would have a conversation . I had to go 3 times to get it straightened out due to the manager Azis's lack of knowledge or assistance ! It is a trust issue . If I can't trust that you know your job , and be courteous , and not rude ? How can I trust them with MY money !

The whole feel of the branch was off. Not the friendly feel it used to have. I am planning on switching to another CU.
