UPDATED REVIEW:…read more After a few emails, Dan [[the owner]] was nice enough to send a replacement mug. This time, the mug was engraved with the same message as my last mug that came off. Definitely made my day, because this mug meant a lot [more than just a souvenir from a place]. This more than made up for the crappy one I got. He apologized for the defective mug and didn't request for me to update the review, but after some cleared up emails, and after receiving my replacement, I couldn't help but update my review. Thanks Dan for my mug! I'll definitely cherish the crap out

One of the owners waited on us and he was super friendly and helpful. They were on the pricier side but sometimes shopping local is good. But my second visit wasn't as good. I guess the other owner isn't as friendly or acted like we were a bother. I was with one of my friends who is in her 80's and we wanted baby chicks. But didn't want them till the next week and we wanted to make sure they had what we wanted. He acted so rude. But when I went to pick them up Mike was there again and he's so nice friendly and helpful I would go back because of him. If it was the other guy I'd steer clear. I always like giving my business to the local guys but I want to feel like I'm appreciated as a customer.

My other question was about jewelry repair on a piece I have which is a highly sought after Southwestern turquoise and silver necklace. He refused to even look at it if I brought it in and stated it wasn't even worth what it would cost to fix. The entire time he was incredibly condescending and treated me like I was trying to pawn something for Christmas money. I realized it was clearly outside of his self-inflated level of expertise and politely asked if he knew any other local jewelers who do have knowledge of this style of jewelry. Again, an abrupt "No." My fiance and I have done business there several times before over the years including the recent purchase and resizing of my engagement ring, and the staff were very nice. I expected to return to purchase wedding rings but now we'll take our business elsewhere due to the attitude of the owner.
