3 stars - Try it yourself So here's the deal: Delta 8, Delta 9 (this is the stuff that gets you high), Delta 10, THCA--they're all different. They're selling you THCA and saying it converts to Delta 9 when you smoke and gives you a high. At first, I smoked some "small budz exotic" and thought they scammed me, so I left a bad review. Then I tried some actual exotic flower and now I'm like... hmm. It's hard to tell sometimes. I can't be too harsh because the business is in a tricky spot with regulations, but there's a weird lack of clarity here: THCA isn't delta 9 and doesn't always convert fully, which leaves a bit of unease. My advice: get a small amount. If you like it, cool. If not, don't buy more. read more

Purple Penthouse - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me

Placed a $120 order for pre-rolls at 1:52 PM for delivery. It's now well past 3:22 PM and I still haven't received my order. I had to call them myself at 3:19 PM just to get an update, no proactive communication from them at all. The agent simply said they were behind and there were people ahead of me. When I explained that I rely on this as medication after brain surgery, it didn't seem to matter. Then came the worst part: after I already paid for delivery, the driver texted asking if I could meet him somewhere. Why am I paying for delivery service if I'm expected to come to you? No communication. No accountability. No respect for customers' time or medical needs. Still waiting as I write this. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. read more

I will only get my products from PP. Customer service is always great. Their quality is elite and they're also fast and efficient. If you're in the DMV PP is a must! read more

I love this place. Top shelf quality (hard to find), easy to order via text, and quick delivery. If you're looking to rival CA, PP is it! read more

This is basically a master class on how to make a customer service situation right. The owner of the company reached out to me personally and bent over backwards to make up for my previous poor experiences. She made good on her promise and personally delivered excellent quality flower and concentrates. There's nothing more she could have reasonably done. I'm happy with how everything eventually turned out. When a situation goes awry, we should all hope for someone to take care of it as thoughtfully and sincerely as the owner of this company did. Thanks. read more

Amazing customer service, and product. By far the most professional delivery service I've dealt with in dc.

Careful with the oz deal. Got it once and was decent, decided to give it another shot this time and it's literally shit. Tastes and looks like lawn clippings, and does not get me high. Really fucking blown because I've been on a T break for a month, and paid $140 for this shit. Might as well be smoking cbd, feels like robbery. read more

Me & my Husband traveled almost 3 hours to DC to purchase from Purple Penthouse. We placed a order and was told they couldn't deliver it for 3 hours when we had other things planned outside of DC for the day but we waited ( they were late, btw). Once we received our order we realized we were given the wrong items and had to call them back and wait again for them to bring us the correct products. The carts we got were also not the ones advertised online. We were given the Drip brand and they get clogged every time you try to use them read more

A waste of $180 for A very disappointing( ALL AROUND I got OZ "Ice cream cake' but the tiny sample was ok. BD Cake was Weak if not all. together absence of buzz/effect and I do NOT have a very high tolerance at all. The only good thing was small free sample of different strain wish I'd got that instead was quite Nice (preferred/Only my second time with gift/donation in DC. The service was fine and can't say anything negative about the lady on the other end of the phone, helpful & nice. Just before I claimed/ordered my "gift" that read a very similar neg comment/review but I wanted to give them a try and wish I got something different do not know if I'll ever go through purple penthouse again. read more

I was in DC on vacation and thought I'd give the local market a try. Purple Penthouse's website offered 5x400mg nerd ropes for $100, plus the $20 delivery charge. Once I followed up and got them my id and a selfie (which they require, though the site only tells you they need your id when you check out), they asked me what I wanted to order without first explaining the product I had already ordered was out of stock, so I selected the "mystery edibles" deal for the same price, with five packages of edibles labeled anywhere from 350mg to 600mg. Now, I'm a tourist from Ohio. I regularly drive to the nearest legal state, Michigan, to shop in the legal market. there, I don't know that I've ever seen edibles of greater than 100mg listed on the packaging. They usually cost $10-15 each and I love them but that gets expensive so I rarely buy them. It takes about 50mg of MI edibles to get me reasonably buzzed, and the full 100mg is more than I want in a serving. The thought that these would be so much stronger made it sound like a good deal. These edibles are extremely weak, and there is no chance in hell they come ANYWHERE close to the stated dosage. In the past two days I've eaten four packages for an alleged combined dosage of somewhere around 2,050mg. At no point was I too buzzed for comfort, and I even had trouble falling asleep last night. In fact, because I also tried boosting it with a vape cart since the impact from the edibles was so minimal, I can't swear I got much of any effect at all from the edibles. Do they have THC in them? Yeah, probably. They sure smelled like weed gummies. But they did not get me high, even when consuming $80 worth over two days and consuming what is allegedly more than 10-20x what I should need for a good effect in that amount of time. There is just no chance in hell that the postage dosage has ANY basis whatsoever in reality. I am really kicking myself over making this order and throwing away $120 when I don't really make much money to begin with. Ordering from Purple Penthouse was easily the biggest mistake of my trip to DC. Two stars because the driver was on time and friendly/polite. But the products I bought were zero star products. read more

Their flower and shrooms are trash. The flower is lower than mid and the shrooms do nothing. They also sell fake carts. Comparing them to dispensary carts and the actual product from the companies they're selling, I can confirm that their carts are fake. Failed in every single category; the liquid moves around way to quick to be 100% cannabis, packaging differs from Purple Penthouse's and the acutal companies' website, etc. Their shatter is also about as mid as the flower. I'm definitely taking my business back to my local dispensary. read more

First time customer. Excellent service from my experience. The product was sensational. I'll be back.

I finally got around to trying again. I took another 3.5 of the golden mushrooms again today after giving it a month of space and still I felt next to nothing from it. Maybe it was this specific batch that they had :( read more

I ordered 7 g of shrooms. When they arrived, I found it was just 5.32 g. I let them know and they promptly sent me the difference of 1.7 g free plus an extra g. I've made several orders since October and this was the first time the weight was off. They're very courteous, prompt to deliver and quality is great. read more

Have never made a Yelp review in my life but what these people are doing isn't right. They're definitely selling CBD flower and passing it off as normal stuff. I've been a long time costumer and have always noticed inconsistent quality and flower that just seems too airy with no effect. Customer service is great but it kind of has to be when your product is overpriced garbage. Please don't use Purple Penthouse unless you like spending hundreds on CBD flower. read more

I ordered 2 oz's and failed to inspect it until I got home. (They told me on the phone it was new and fresh. After home inspection, the product was short in weight and very, very old and was shit. For starters, they refused to honor my first-timer coupon. Secondly, I was brought the wrong order. Upon reaching out to the vendor to get my issue fixed, I was told they were out of what I originally ordered. Lastly, they made me wait an hour and 20 minutes past the time they gave me read more

First let me say that when somebody answers they have been interactive and engaging. Though one somebody gave me a different number v that was another company entirely who didn't carry anything near what they said. The strawberry shortcake presented well and delivered a fair show of itself. Really helped my arthritus. Since it was given the scent artificially which once worn off leaves you with decent midiez . The only time I ever was able to secure the Swag bud deal had been in conjecture with allot of other products. More than 3 time now when I asked for the advertised products at the site I was upsold other stuff I didn't want for rolling in cigar wraps and it has become such a trend donor support has been forced to shop elsewhere. This sucks to have to do. Maybe keep your website accurate and ease the shade level back. Y'all ain't the only players in the game. Just the easiest to access. Easy delivery and very responsive! The only thing I have negative to say is I got the wrong gummies but they were still good and did the trick. I also didn't get the free first time order promo but overall not a bad service and they have a wide selection of items. read more

The weed was terrible and the edibles had no effect except I got really sick about four hours later. I gave them a second chance and tried a bar of shrooms and again, nothing but I'm out 120. I hope the legit companies can talk these people into stopping this scam cause it's probably making people afraid to try the other services (some are excellent). read more

Y'all are lyinggggg ! I'm not even sure why people continue to give business to these delivery and smoke shop services in the dc area ! First of all, if you're able to legally have weed and give it away why not just have actual weed !? Second, who knows what you're actually giving us especially since dc was known as spice central ! You can be giving me something that's deadly and that's just tacky and dumb for business. You don't know someone's reaction physically to whatever you're selling! Having us think we're buying weed. Why would one drive and pay all of that money to just smoke cbd !? That's in every city. I drove 2 hours to you just to spend 400 and get FAKE WEED. I've Smoked REGGIE that tastes better than this crap. I'm going to find a way to get all of you out of business mark my words. This isn't right and y'all playing dangerous games read more
