Since FedEx already charges so much, I found this to be abusive. They will lose anything you submit to them online. Every time I went in there it too far too long. They are definitely overwhelmed with all the students and departments but it's a wonder why they don't hire more staff. I recently met an employee who was transferred out of this location and when I mentioned how he looked familiar (he recognized me too) he looked relieved to be rid of this place. Try to make your own copies at the library and just buy a 3 hole punch and anything else you need from the Bookstore if you're on campus. Ride your bike, or get a ride to the USPS post office on S. Carrollton north of Claiborne (near Magnolia Discount gas station) to mail anything and you will probably be back on campus in less time than it would have taken you to complete a transaction at this location.

Even by the combined incredibly low standards of New Orleans and ex-Kinkos, this place has…read moresurprisingly bad customer service. It's actually bad enough, especially for shipping, that I will be shipping all my packages by UPS and USPS instead of ever using this location, or FedEx-branded shipping, again. This afternoon they just summarily refused to ship one of my packages (which I'd already prepaid!) based on arbitrary decisions about how the packing looked to them -- even when the packing is precisely the same as the box was earlier received _from_ FedEx! First they opened the box and messed with the bubble-wrap packaging, and then they talked insultingly as though this was my fault, or as if I were trying to cheat them or make them "responsible" for a later breakage claim just by asking them to take a package I'd already paid to ship. Then they failed to repack the package they'd opened and sent me away with it. Even by New Orleans standards these people are remarkably rude -- maybe they're on some kind of power trip because most of their customers are college kids? But when I called the corporate line to complain, they told me this (apart from the rudeness) was their actual policy: that "FedEx Office" locations are supposed to refuse to ship packages, and that I should use other drop-off points instead, because off-brand shipping stores would take my package (the same package!) with no problem. Great brand management there: first you rename the whole store after the shipping brand, then you refuse to ship things for customers. I think I'll never try to ship a package with these people again, and I'm sorry that the Tulane students who frequent this place don't get better treatment.

They had the audacity to tell me that when I go to my local yet different location, which has always been courteous, polite and patient, that I do not get charged $8 to send ground USPS but instead they told me I would get charged $20 for the same option. The man proceeded to tell me to go elsewhere and that he didn't care where I go. That they don't ever charge that up charge he keeps referring to, that the prices I told him when I politely asked him to be sure because (UPS locations) does not "up charge as a courtesy". So here I am making sure everyone knows that they are ripping people off and do not have a good business model at this location. Sadly, each location is privately owned which likely explains the awful customer service and conversation. I made sure to tell him I didn't care, that he doesn't care. Yet, I do care about my Yelp community and sincerely ask that you reconsider when approaching this location. They are ripping all of us off.

COVID-19 review: This is my local Office Depot and I must…read moresay I'm grateful it's in my neighborhood! I appreciate the fact that they have signs informing everyone they have to wear a mask and social distance. They also make shopping convenient by having all the COVID-19 supplies as soon as you walk in, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, masks etc. Every time I come in they are friendly and greet me and help me find just what I'm looking for! I signed up for their free frequent customer thingy and they look me up by my phone number. It's great bc I get coupons, yes I know I'm an old lady using coupons but it's a pandemic, Gotta be smart with my money! Haha :) Even when you check out they have tape on the floor to show you how far away to stand, they have plexiglass between you and the cashier and all the employees wear masks! They also have convenient short term parking in front of the store! Happy office supply shopping!
