We feel fortunate to have such a good team to help with our daughter. Our daughter was born at 32 weeks, so we were very intentional with choosing our pediatrician. We are so glad we chose Dr. Pulliam. She gives amazing care, takes the time to answer all of our questions, makes great recommendations, and really helped calm our fears with our concerns about our child's prematurity. Our daughter is thriving now at 20 months and we owe a big part of that to Centennial Valley Pediatrics. If you're trying to sift through the options for a pediatrician, definitely check out Centennial Valley Pediatrics. They give top notch care, are always willing to fit us in when our baby is sick, and they super knowledgeable. We also appreciate that we can reach out after hours for help and that there is a connection with Children's Hospital if something serious comes up.

Every step of the way we've had 0 complaints about Centennial Valley Pediatrics. From the staff up front to the nurses to the multiple doctors we've seen, everyone has been kind and spends time with us to ask all our questions. We especially love Dr. Pulliam and Dr. Rolfson. We've never felt that they were rushed to get through our appointment - they always spend the time with us and make sure to ask us if we have any more questions. They answer everything fully and always put our minds at ease. Truly couldn't ask for a better place to bring our little girl! Thanks to everyone at Centennial Valley Pediatrics!!

I'm just curious as to when it became standard practice for the office to call the minor regarding…read morescheduling appointments and insurance. My daughter is 16 and while I know and am very well aware of HIPAA and further understand that my daughter is allowed to have appointments without me being present, she made the appointment today without knowing what it was for or why she had to go in. When I called to question why they contacted her instead of me, I was told that she is primary on the account because of being 16 so she will be contacted for everything. Keep in mind I have been with this practice since the day she was born, we've had several appointments and visits just this year and I was made to feel like I was in the wrong for canceling the appointment because I couldn't attend. In fact, despite being told that she was primary and her number was on the chart, I was contacted not once but twice last week by the practice regarding a medication refill. When I questioned whether this would be covered by insurance because we've had problems this year, I was told I legally had to make the appointment whether it was covered or not. I have never had a poor experience with this practice before but the fact that they now contact the minor patient before guardian with no explanation or notice seems wrong. I was also told I would be documented for cancelling the appointment and questioning why my daughter was called prior to me. They are still children and while she has the right to not give her health information to me or to have the visit alone, I as her parent should not be made to be in the wrong for questioning a process or requesting information to ensure insurance coverage. If the new process is that all children over the age of 14 are contacted before parent/guardian to schedule appointments, then I would think there should be some sort of notice of this.
