My wife and I bought a camper van and plan on doing some week long trips and maybe longer. I wasn't confident that Toast had the skills to deal with dogs when they approached. I needed help! Off Leash K9 Trainer Justin was just what we needed. He was professional and has a personality I was looking for to help Toast. Toast is a mixed breed and has quite a "personality". I was in over my head at first. Not! anymore. After 3 weeks with Justin she has turned into a very responsive dog. Follows commands. Isn't aggressive towards dogs on the street anymore. It was so embarrassing to walk her during the day. I resorted to night walks. When I met Justin after her time in training he helped me understand Toast better and couldn't be more pleased with the dog I have now. If the training didn't work she was going up to adoption. Cruel? I know. We can not rave enough about the experience we had. If you're in the same boat as we were, it's worth every penny! "5"

We've had our dog back for about a week now and she is listening so much better. I've been able to take her on walks with a stroller, no pulling or tripping. She's been more interested in our kids petting her and playing with her. Overall very happy with the training and happy we had Justin as her trainer!

Obedience regressed, ears injured, and training relied only on ecollar pressure…read more I sent my 6-7 month old Doberman to Aiyana for a 4-week board and train program. My goals were to refine her obedience, stop leash pulling, and build confidence. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Positives * My dog did gain a little more patience and became more confident around dogs at a distance. * These improvements are appreciated, but they do not justify the cost of a full board and train program. Concerns * Breed Bias: Aiyana often commented negatively about Dobermans, saying things like "This is why I wouldn't own a Doberman." For someone advertising all-breed training, this was unprofessional and discouraging. * Ear Care: Since my puppy is still posting her ears, I asked to take her home on weekends to do it myself. Aiyana declined until week 3, when I found her ear had been wrapped so tightly it cut into the skin. On another occasion, her ear was bleeding and the glue was completely dried out. When I gave feedback, instead of handling it professionally, she became defensive and refused to continue ear posting on any other dog as if she is doing a favor. * Training Regression: Instead of improving, my dog regressed. She used to know the difference between sit and down, but came back ignoring sit and defaulting to down. Leash pulling was not addressed -- I was simply told to "use a prong collar," even though she had walked nicely without one before. * Reliance on Ecollar: I have no issue with ecollars when used properly, but this training relied almost entirely on constant pressure. Without the collar, my dog would not listen at all to her. That is not effective or sustainable training. * Shocking Statement: At one point, Aiyana even told me, "I cannot do anything if a dog acts a certain way with someone else." Hearing that from someone calling herself a professional trainer was unacceptable. * Professionalism: She frequently reminded me that she had given me a discount, as if that excused the lack of progress. Sessions were delayed and if I arrived a little late due to her schedule changes she would blame me (we also have work and things to take care of and the road time, i am 40min away from her, i also never had the problem to go back to her anytime that worked), and I never received a proper recap or hand-off at the end as after i communicated about her ears she said she is uncomfortable working with us now . Final Thoughts While there were minor improvements in patience and confidence, the main goals of obedience and leash training were not achieved. My dog returned with ear injuries, regression in commands, and unreliable training that relied entirely on tools instead of teaching. I gave her time till even after the board and train being finished to wait for our recap session because maybe just maybe something would change . Which wasn't given because i gave my concern on my dog being hurt and her material not being taken care of . I wasn't blaming her -- just asking for more attentiveness. This program did not meet the level of professionalism, communication, or results I expected from a board and train. For anyone considering training services, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a trainer who provides consistent progress, safe handling, and clear communication.

ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE--DO NOT TRUST ALLIE DOG TRAINER WITH YOUR DOG…read more I handed over $3,500 in March 2025 for their heavily promoted "On & Off Leash Advanced Obedience Program," explicitly promising 100% reliable off-leash control--full recall in any environment, off-leash heeling, the freedom to hike/camp/park/beach while maintaining total control at any moment, no matter the distraction. That was the core selling point I paid for. What I got? Zero off-leash reliability. Gunner is nowhere near off-leash safe--he ignores recalls completely in real-world settings, bolts toward people/dogs, and shows no dependable control whatsoever. The "training" was a total fraud on that front alone. On top of the complete failure to deliver the promised off-leash obedience, they returned my once-confident, healthy Cane Corso as a trembling, emaciated shell--ribs protruding like a rescue case, eyes filled with terror, cowering from me (his owner) for days as if I'd abused him. He arrived without the expensive bed and slip leash I provided, which they simply kept--no return, no explanation. No video updates ever arrived despite promising them every 2-4 days to monitor well-being. The fallout was immediate and severe: on April 14, 2025, Gunner exploded in panic while I was gone just three hours, shredding his heavy-duty crate into foam confetti and twisted metal. He later lunged aggressively at my girlfriend--behavior he never had before. They ghosted post-program, relocated without a word, ignored months of desperate messages for the promised follow-ups, and when cornered, gaslit me: blaming his starvation-look on the raw diet they approved, pretending they "tried" to help, and inventing a fake "remaining balance." These are not trainers--they are negligent scammers who traumatize dogs, steal belongings, pocket your money, and disappear. I'm thousands deeper now repairing the damage they caused to Gunner's body and trust. If you value your dog's safety and happiness, stay far away. Allie Dog Trainer delivers the opposite of what they promise--especially the off-leash control that is 100% nonexistent here. RUN--DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR DOG OR YOUR MONEY. I paid $3,500 in March 2025 for their "Advanced Off-Leash Obedience Program" that explicitly promised 100% reliable off-leash control--perfect recall in any environment, off-leash heeling, freedom to hike, camp, go to parks/beaches while always having total control. That was the #1 reason I chose them. Reality: Gunner is 100% NOT off-leash safe. He ignores recalls completely in real-world settings, bolts toward people and dogs, and has zero dependable control. The core promise I paid for was a complete lie. When Gunnar was dropped off, my once-confident, healthy Cane Corso was a terrified, emaciated wreck--ribs protruding like a rescue dog, cowering from me for days as if I were a stranger. They kept his expensive bed and slip leash without a word. No video updates ever arrived despite promising them every 2-4 days. The fallout was immediate and terrifying: on April 14, 2025, Gunner panicked while I was gone just three hours and completely destroyed his heavy-duty crate--foam shredded everywhere, fabric ripped to pieces. He later lunged aggressively at my girlfriend, behavior he NEVER had before they "trained" him. Their public response to my concerns is pure gaslighting: claiming weight loss is "normal" for an anxious dog on a lean raw diet (a diet THEY accepted and monitored), saying dogs "regress" when returning home (so why charge $3,500?), and blaming me for not booking follow-ups--while conveniently ignoring that they relocated out of state without notice and stopped responding for months. They never provided the three promised free follow-ups, never sent care instructions, and now hide behind excuses like "communication was inconsistent" when I have the full text history showing me begging for help and them ignoring me. These people are not professional trainers--they are negligent, dishonest opportunists who take your money, return a traumatized and physically worse dog, steal belongings, disappear, and then post polished deflections when called out. I'm out thousands more fixing the damage they caused to Gunner's body, trust, and behavior. If you love your dog, stay far away from Wild Tails Dog Training / Allie Dog Trainer. They deliver trauma, not training.
