The kids had a great time playing Topgolf…read more My kids can't golf at all. They are five and eight however my older son went to topgolf for a field trip during camp and he asked to go back. I booked on the website and saw that there's different rates for different days and different times. Morning is the cheapest and obviously certain weekdays plus randomly Sunday are cheaper as well. I think it's worth looking before you go since the price is variable. Also, when you book online, it's more expensive to reserve a top bay on the third floor versus the second versus the ground floor. I chose any available bay, which I think is the best decision because we ended up on the third floor. Obviously we would've had to be OK with if we had gotten the bottom floor, which we were. This Topgolf seems to be a less popular than the one in Brandon. I looked up the one in Brandon and there was no availability for when we wanted to go, versus there was a ton of availability at this location. There is less to do around this location, but if you're going just for topgolf, then that doesn't really matter. The parking lot is big and easy to find a spot. They have kids clubs, which is nice, because when they saw we had kids coming they had the clubs already available at our bay. We got the kids chicken tenders with tater tots and lemonade. The kids enjoyed eating it. My husband got wings, but expected them to be spicy and they were not. I do think knowing at least a basic swing is helpful, I don't have one, but my kids were even worse. Next time I think taking them to a driving range first would be easier. However, they still had a pretty good time because there's tons of games that you can play that even the playing field. I booked for an hour which was the perfect amount of time for us. If we were four adults though, I think we could go for two hours. I definitely think this is a great place to spend a couple hours. I would highly recommend.

There is seating for 5 people but you can register 6, so I guess that means someone is always playing. Prices vary by time and day, so that can be good or bad depending on your availability. Check rates before you go. Pros: - cool inside - different game options - cool tech tracking balls near goals - people from kids to the elderly were able to get good scores depending on the game parameters - clubs for lefties - extensive food menu - alcoholic drinks available - service was good - plenty of parking - space indoors to watch sports/hangout/nice bathrooms - you pay for time and it's easy to add on small amount of time as desired Cons - you have to pay a small fee to register. Allegedly a one time fee, but it seems like an upfront cash grab knowing most people are coming for one-time events - servers come around frequently to a point you feel more compelled to order food. If you don't want more food, stand your ground but it's almost too convenient to get one more drink - The scores should be more points if you hit them from further out. Seems like a flat / any score near any flag is the same - games aren't necessarily clear if you've never played before Overall, great for groups, everyone was energetic, even if you aren't good at golf, you can get some points and try out a few clubs. If you want a more traditional golfing experience or to improve your skills, there are other places for that, but this was a good family outing.

I sought out Rick for his successful college coaching credentials. Our first lesson showed he was an impressive and fast observer, and based his coaching on my game, physique, and basic flaws, which he made most understandable. In 5 more lessons, he gave me simple drills, much encouragement, and the order to "remember the good ones, not the bad ones." My accuracy percentage has improved impressively. My former persistent tops have become (mostly) airborne shots with about +8 yards per iron, and 10-15 on woods. I now have a clear idea about how and why proper posture (a big focus) and sequence work together. My short game have improved greatly, with more up and downs. I have to admit that some of the landscape improvements they've made to this golf course are better than any of the landscaping in my neighborhood and I live in a very nice neighborhood! At first, I was not a big fan of the restrictive geo-fencing that keeps us closer to the middle of the fairway (I don't tend to hit the ball in the middle of the fairway, ha ha) but I appreciate the owners wanting to improve the course and protect the bunker and grass near them. We are in a state of drought right now and the course is amazingly good shape given the head don't have full water. If you have never played here, I highly recommend that you try it. Some of the holes are easier than others and some of the other holes are very challenging so it's an interesting golf course. Thank you to the owners for making investments in our community. I walked into Bay Golf Exchange fully prepared to confirm my long-standing belief that golf is the…read moreabsolute worst. For context: I hate mini-golf. Hate. Five lifetime attempts, five exits thinking, "If this is golf, burn it all down." Topgolf? Even better--nothing like slamming a club into the ground, rattling your entire skeleton, and wondering if you're about to yeet yourself off a balcony mid-swing. Hard pass. I'm a motorcycle-riding, scuba-diving, ripped-jeans, tattooed "this seems like a bad idea, let's do it anyway" kind of person. Plaid pants and polite clapping? Could not be me. Golf people? I had my doubts. But I made a deal with a friend: they'd ride motorcycles with me if I tried golf with them. They're now on a bike. So here I am, betraying my entire personality. Enter Matt. Before I even showed up, his messages were funny, patient, and--annoyingly--welcoming. So I went in, fully expecting to hate every second of it. Three hours later... I'm out here questioning my life choices. This man didn't just sell me clubs. He basically performed an intervention. He taught me how to hold a club (turns out I was doing... whatever chaos that was before), explained why Topgolf wrecked my shoulder, and somehow made sense of why mini-golf made me irrationally angry. Then he had me swing different clubs until we found ones that actually felt right--which, again, was new information to me. And just when I thought we were done, he starts adjusting everything. Cutting clubs down. Fixing my stance. Watching me swing. Adjusting again. Demonstrating. Repeating. Encouraging. Over and over until I went from "this is stupid" to "wait... I want to try that again." And here's the thing that stuck with me--his passion is clearly not in retail. After all, he asked me what my budget was in the beginning and stayed right in my paltry budget. His passion is in getting people to feel this sport. You can tell he genuinely wants you to catch whatever this is so you'll just... go. play. Not buy more stuff. Not overthink it. Just go be out there hitting a ball around and somehow enjoying it. I left with clubs that actually fit me, a swing that doesn't feel like I'm dislocating something, a bag, balls, tees and--this is the worst part--I'm excited to go back. It's taken me way too long to write this review because I've been busy turning into the exact person I used to make fun of. If you need me, I'll be at the driving range, voluntarily, like some kind of addict. Matt is the real deal. If you think you hate golf, if you just need a good person to explain it all- who won't make you feel like you don't belong, congratulations (!) you're exactly the person who should go see him. I'll never buy golf equipment from anyone else.
