The facilities feature the most up to date technology for both golfing and exercising. There are two on site restaurants. One is a bistro style eatery, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The best grits and bacon I have EVER had! The other restaurant, The Albatross, is a sexy, high end steak and seafood spot. I'd put the meals I've had there up against any famous big city dining establishment. The lodging for out of town guests may be one of my favorite amenities. The finishes, the decor, the comfort ... the luxury! There is nothing else like it in this area of Florida. Though I am not a golfer myself, I do know that the greens are immaculate enough to host an annual LPGA event. We had a delicious meal in the dining room and everything was so fresh and amazing. The GM, Mr. Brooks came to our table to see how things were. We were very impressed with his care and attention to detail. I love that this club has been around for so many years and it is in the heart of St.Pete. You get a sense of history just walking into the place. Knowing some of the members have been coming there for 20 years. Everyone is so upbeat and friendly. The golf was smooth and so fun. We are able to work our short game with 3-par holes and a well-designed well-drained course. Honestly, it's so fun! Though our second reservation wasn't put in the books (we called) it was still honored. Only improvement would be a veteran discount. My aunt is the primary caregiver for her brother (who is a disabled veteran who can't be left alone) and was charged $11 for him to just ride on her cart. It would be nice to honor veterans with complementary ride along privileges if they are handicap. My husband and I are still happy to come play. The clubhouse doesn't boast many eating selections for post game- but it is only 9-holes with low low low par- so we don't mind at all!
