My property was such that all work hand to be manually "hand trenched" using shovels. After the first day of the two day project, there were heavy rains that night. Chris's work fixed the primary problem that I had hired him for, but with the heavy rains, an additional drainage problem was discovered. Chris quickly responded by ordering additional materials and expanded his scope of work to include this new area. So, on his second and final day of work, Chris completed the initial project and also completed the additional work. Chris Peters represents the very definition of "professional". The work he did at my condo (tub-shower cove-type application) was exceptional in every way. The best tile work I have ever seen, and I manage industrial construction projects for a living, so I know what I'm looking at. Vinnie came by to see the project prior to performance. We talked through the work, and he provided me with a formal estimate via email. We scheduled the work, and he showed up every consecutive day, on time and ready to go. The finish grout work was also exceptionally good, and the final surface didn't require me to go back over and clean up afterwards. I had prepared the walls and surface (Hardy cement board, Mapei Aqua-defense, Kerdi-fix caulk, myself using the best materials, and having bought the tile and metal edging from Floor & Decor (see Susana Rangel for excellent service and products). The owner was very quick to communicate, come to the worksite and help me understand the work that needed to be done as well as sensitive to my concerns. This was a relatively small job but he treated me like I was a big money customer, he personally made sure the work was done in a timely, quality manner. His work crew was courteous and did a great job. I am very pleased with the end result, the work is quality, detailed and exceeded my expectations. I have owned three homes and this is easily the best experience I have had with a contractor. If I have a need in the future this is the first call I will make.
