Today, we had a taste for pupusas so I looked online for best pupusas in the area and found Tierra Cuscatleta in Conroe. It is a family run restaurant and I felt like I was dining in a relative's house. We sat down, and the server promptly took our order. We ordered pupusas, Salvadoran style chicken tamales, and yuca con chicharon. We did not have to wait long before the cook brought the chicken tamales and the yuca con chicharon fresh from the kitchen. Minutes later she brought the pupusas to our table. The food was freshly made, very tasty and very economical. We ordered some additional pupusas to take with us. Tierra Cuscatleca is now our go to place anytime we have a taste for pupusas.
