One day I had an awfully lot of free time on my hands so, while I was looking for a place to exchange my CLP into USD I thought I would look for the best offer. I walked up and down the streets of downtown until I came across JC Tour. They are kind of around the corner from the main strip of exchange houses and that is what makes them so good. They have a variety of currencies they exchange - even gold! The best thing about them, is they have a website and phone number, so you can give them a call ahead of time to make sure you get the best exchange rate and your currency is available. Also, I would come during the afternoon between 2 and 4pm because it is less busy and you will have them time you need to ask any questions without feeling pressured by a long line behind you.

So if you want a breakdown of your currency, go elsewhere. The service is so awful that the guy gave me the hand gesture and wouldn't talk to me.
