I happened to find Sherry's Trini while I was in Orlando for an exam and decided to give it a try. I ordered the potato and channa roti with pepper sauce on the side. The potato and channa was yum, well-seasoned. The pepper sauce was everything I needed. Now for the roti itself. If you're accustomed to a good dhalpuri or buss up shut, this one might leave you wanting a little more. It wasn't bad, but it lacked that soft, delicate, flaky texture. The filling was carrying the meal more than the roti did. Overall though, I appreciated finally finding a place in Florida serving Trini food that actually tastes like somebody put some love into it. It's hard to come by down here. While the roti wasn't exactly what I was hoping for, the potato and channa definitely satisfied the craving and I'd still come back to get some other fixes.
