Ordered delivery from Punjab Kitchen since it seemed to be the best option for Indian food in the general area around Disney based on reviews. I can't speak to the ambiance or service, but the gentleman on the phone was very nice in answering questions and letting me know rice is complimentary with any meals with curries. The onion bhaji (4.5/5) appetizer was very reasonably priced and was nice and crispy with a perfectly spiced chickpea batter. The butter chicken (2.5/5) was a weak point. Although the chicken was of decent quality, the gravy was excessively sweet, and the requested "medium spice" option was just an addition of black pepper. It would rank near the bottom of gravy preparations among Indian restaurants back home in New Jersey. The palak paneer (4/5) was tasty and well-liked. The butter naan (3.5/5) was your standard fluffy naan, but as with all naan, doesn't travel well for take out or delivery as the texture gets a bit chewy. Overall, I wouldn't mind getting a meal from Punjabi Kitchen in the future and would rate it a 3.5 out of 5, but wouldn't order the butter chicken again as the gravy didn't hit the spot with me. read more

We were driving from Orlando to Tampa, and we were looking for a place to eat. We came across Punjab Kitchen online, and it had really good reviews, so we decided to try it out for dinner. We found parking right by the restaurant, and the server greeted us and got us seated right away. We got our menus and ordered Tarka Yellow Dal, Chicken Methi Malai, Tandoori Roti, and Chilli Chicken. We started with the Tarka Yellow Dal and Rice. Both my wife and the toddler loved it! She said it was like homemade Dal. We ordered the Chilli Chicken and Chicken Methi Malai. The Chilli Chicken appetizer was really good and a great way to start our dinner. The Chicken Methi Malai with Naan was also delicious and a great option to satisfy our hunger. We really enjoyed our dinner at Punjab Kitchen! I've been coming to Punjab Kitchen for nearly a decade. This is probably the most flavorful Indian food in the Orlando area. The spice levels are reasonable and the food is fresh. I usually get a medium or high level of spice. My wife gets mild. The staff is awesome and super friendly. Thankfully there wasn't a wait tonight, but last night they had an hour and half wait. Given the holidays are always busy for restaurants. I started coming here before I was even dating my wife and tonight we brought our 14 month old daughter. They had a high chair for her. She devoured some butter chicken, naan, and rice. Her first time really eating Indian and loved it! The restaurant is locally owned and the owner is usually at the restaurant helping out. He is super friendly and a family man. Overall I love this place. It's sad that it's an hour from where I live now, but we make it a point to visit a few times a year. We had butter chicken (requested spicy), Chicken Bhuna (requested medium), garlic naan & chili naan. Everything was yummy! The spice levels were perfect. All of the workers there were nice. We ordered mostly vegetarian dishes, but also their butter, chicken and their chicken masala, oh so good.
