What a great cafe! I ordered waffles with blueberries, infused vanilla yogurt, and honey. The…read morewaffles were made nice and crispy, and were very filling! I also loved the crispy bacon. We sat in the front by the window which was nice and cozy. They were a bit on the busy side when we entered, but once our order was taken it took about 20 minutes to get our food. It was worth the wait!

Even without yelp, I'd know how popular this place is because it's in all the guides and is a restaurant I'd initially seen and heard about when starting at the university. It's one of the first breakfasts I had in Norwich and is easy to find in the city centre. As expected, it was busy but we didn't wait too long to be seated. The queue ended up being much longer after we finished. There are multiple floors but we were on the ground level towards the back dining area--just a tad bit of a tight squeeze around our table. We ordered three dishes: a granola and fruit bowl to share, the Mixed Fruit & Nut Waffle, and the Waffle House Breakfast (mine, which included a waffle, free range scrambled eggs, field tomatoes and mushrooms, and bacon rashers). While the savoury bits were okay, I found the namesake waffles, and ultimately the plate itself, to be forgettable...or below average at best. With a spattering of other superior breakfast and lunch eateries in the city, Waffle House is not one I'd return to. I know I'm deviating from the general review consensus, but I wasn't particularly impressed with my dining experience and a relative of mine had an even worse meal another time. However, the service was fine, and my dining companion liked the meal (sweet options) and coffee more than I did.

This is an excellent chinese eat all you want restaurant in Norwich. It's situated at the top of St…read moreStephens street and there is no problem if you're travelling in by car as it's situated within Queens Street car park. You can dine at Lunch or Evening meals and the lunch time is cheaper although they do not have their full menus to choose from. For the amount that you and your family/friends can eat the price is fantastic. I have found though that if you don't arrive shortly after opening you often have to sit and wait as it's packed. I have always phoned and prebooked a table though in the evenings to guarantee I won't be waiting around for a long time. The resturant itself is fairly large and it's decor is nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. Their food is top though, i would recommend to all.

They offer two different opening times; one for lunchtime and the other for evening meals. The lunchtime menu has less on offer but is cheaper compared to the evening meal which is nearly double the price per adult but alot more variety for the three courses of meals they have. It is advisable to book for an evening meal if you want a specific time as this can get busy especially at weekends. Lunchtime though I have never booked a table I just turned up and got a table straigh away. This is an excellent place to go for a cheap and very filling meal.
