You're here to smell the roses, etc. Hourly rental is a good price. I thought the whole day price was a tad high, but it's actually good for such a popular tourist spot. Bikes have a front basket and a rear cargo rack for carrying your purchases. Maybe take some bungee cords or string to tie down your box/bag to the rack. Take a back-pack too if you're a shopaholic. ;-)
