I met with Karen, the director, after a girlfriend of mine recommended them. We walked throughout the entire school, not just the infant room- which is what we needed. The do in house field trips! They go all the way up to kindergarten, and while touring, I could tell all the staff and kids were happy. This is important to me, as I want the best for my child. They have a chef! They introduce nutritional meals and plant a seed of understanding food groups at a young age, to instill healthy food choices as they grow. I LOVE THIS! I was talking to a neighbor mom who couldn't understand why they would have a chef, and to ME, it's important. Because cooking, prepping, rationing out snacks and meals, is tough sometimes. I run a business and manage an office, and my husband works starting his days at 630 at a glass contracting facility, so we are BUSY! Knowing my daughter can get the proper attention and great food, makes me feel VERY confident that I'm providing her with the best school. They have monitors and video cameras, which helps me feel the kids are safe. There's monitors in the front lobby. Everything was clean, everything was labeled, and it felt like they're managed very well. From sign language, to educational groups, to the hands on staff- I just feel this is the best center in town. I literally cried in the parking lot! My only complaint is the price. It's nearly double what other daycares nearby offer! Their full-time rate is 500$. I understand they offer a LOT and it's the best of the best, but 3-400 range would be more appropriate in my opinion. Worth the tour! the kids will thrive! This is our dream daycare!

I certainly was extra stressed with the process of getting twins acclimated to the daycare environment at 15 months (they were at home with a nanny before this), but everyone from the the teachers and staff and director helped make the process work. They girls have their primary teacher, but are constantly interacting with different groups of kids and teachers and staff. This has been wonderful in getting them accustomed to new people outside of the school environment. They used to be very shy about meeting new people but its a comfortable process being in new places now. The school also helps me as a first time mom with many questions I'll have about different things the kids experience. An added bonus that extends beyond the school environemnt!

My oldest…read morestarted at 2 years old (now 6) and my youngest started at 3 months old, so while disconnected by age and child, we've essentially gone through start to finish. There are a few things that really stand out strong for me at TLE in comparison to the two other daycares we've been at when my oldest was between 0-2 yrs old. All the staff at TLE know my kids by name, they say hi to us in the hallways and even though they have assigned teachers, they all float periodically so that they know ALL the kids. This makes transitions that much easier to new rooms and teachers. The daycare is filled with children's art work on nearly every space of wall in the classrooms (a stark difference to a prior daycare that had NONE), and they engage their teachers in monthly bulletin board contests using children's artwork. They come out so amazing! They host pot lucks and other family events throughout the year with animals, magicians, Bubbles the Elephant, games and food. There's so many staff that are consistent and love what they do, and it shows by how well they care for the children. They are open to feedback and work well to make accommodations. They have really great safety and food policy practices that make me feel very comfortable with my daughter with allergies. They have a really great curriculum and before my daughter even made it to Kindergarten, she was reading at TLE. When she "graduated" from TLE, they put on a really special graduation ceremony, and made a keepsake "yearbook", complete with superlatives for each child. Really amazing. Very happy to be here at TLE and always recommend it to people looking around for a new daycare.

First, and most importantly, the teachers and staff are amazing. The communication with the management team was always timely and we appreciated the transparency that was always provided around any teacher changes within classrooms (this was super important to us coming into the school). Any questions that I emailed the administrative team (usually after hours) were generally at least acknowledged that night (either with an answer or letting me know a timeframe I could expect an answer). Our boys were happy with the teachers and staff they interacted with (and even now when we pass by the school while driving they ask if they can stop and say hello) and simply RAVED about Chef Dan's cooking. The classrooms are spacious, clean and organized and we felt confident sending our kids there even during the COVID pandemic because of their thorough cleaning protocols and safety measures. We loved the structured curriculum that included the philosophy of learning while playing. Music and math were essentially part of most lessons throughout the day! Phonics and reading development were worked into the curriculum as well (some other places we looked at included these programs but they were an additional cost). Cost is usually a factor when selecting a daycare and we were very happy that the rates at Primrose were competitive with other similarly situated centers. We truly saw the value in what we were paying and the care and educational support and experience the kids were receiving. In total, we were at the school for nearly 3 years and one or both of our kids were in toddlers, preschool, pre-K, the private kindergarten program as well as the (newly created during COVID) school-age remote learning programs and both kids attended full-time. We are thankful to be part of the Primrose School of Chelmsford family and have met teachers and friends that we are confident will be in our lives for some time going forward.

During our time, they have continued to exceeded every expectation we had. We started our journey with Primrose in April of 2021, when I was returning back to work after being remote from the pandemic. I was so impressed with their clean facility, communication with parents, and their curriculum. The teachers and staff have encouraged and supported my son in so many ways and we see his confidence soaring. It's so easy sending him in everyday because he loves to go to school. We know when he's there that he is safe, cared for, and having the best time. I really loved the communication and pictures through the app and whenever I needed anything, Anne and Heidi were always right there to help. We couldn't have asked for better experience!

Half the teachers that work here do not have a education degree. Also they try and tell you about what your child should be eating for lunch. His teachers, often, are not montessori trained. You can expect constant turnover of teachers if you send your kids here... my son had 3 different lead classroom teachers in under two years. As to the quality of the education, all I'd say is to check out other montessori schools before drinking the koolaid here. There are other nearby schools teaching Spanish, music, art, and have Montessori-trained teachers over each classroom. Or you can send your kids here and they can learn to slice strawberries and play on tablets when they get older. Do not do it to yourself.

She handed my 3 year-old Ritz Crackers, which he ate and consequently suffered anaphylaxis. The Little Sprouts administrators acted too busy to be bothered by this situation. Then, they lied to us about what had happened, which could have killed him because information is power and we did not have much time to save his life. Even after we had to administer an Epinepherine (Epi) Pen and call 911, an administrator claimed that he "shouldn't have had a reaction to Ritz Crackers" (first ingredient: wheat flour). We spent the evening in the ER and never brought our son back to this terrifying place.
