This 5 start Review is strictly for Sal! Just the fact that I have not seen the other tattoo artists work and the person who did my boyfriends tattoo, was a very big disappointment and a rip off. I literally don't know how this guy has a job at a tattoo shop, very horrible job. do your research on the artist first, we trusted on the shop's recommendation but not we have to get his tattoo fixed. Tattoo artist (Jacob) -- I wouldn't give him a full 1 star. As for Sal, his work is phenomenal. My plan was to start on my right arm to create a horror sleeve. The front recommended Sal because he does great horror art. They weren't lying. He took his time and he was very precise. He definitely dedicated all his hard work on my arm. There he did it, tattooing the perfect silent nurse. I am so in love with it. Proud of my horror piece. Sal is the man to go to. read more

If this shop wants to continue getting new customers, they might wanna teach their employees some customer service. I simply asked a question because I know different tattoo/piercing shops have different requirements, and the guy on the other side was rude and smart asf for no reason. You can answer a customer's question without the attitude. Customer service matters, especially when you're trying to gain new business. read more

This is a really dope place to get your ink done I don't know how many artists they but judging by how many tattoo stations? They have theirs a lot but I can tell you one thing for sure is star is a she really pays attention to detail and shows in her work read more

I went to the artist Vegas and this tattoo faded as it healed. Wasn't deep enough to hold ink. I tried reaching out to the artist and he never answered me back about fixing it. Horrible retention and service. read more

Pumping Ink Tattoo - Went here and this tattoo faded as soon as it was healing. Tried reaching out to the artist and he never answered me back. - Tattoo Near Me - El Paso, Texas

I went in to get a piercing. The piercer who goes by the name "Vegas" pierced me without even disinfecting the area. I was honestly so shocked.. The owners are rude and don't care about their customers safety. I highly recommend no one goes here! read more

Great staff and artistic skill all around. I heard that this was the best place in El Paso and surrounding areas to get a tattoo, so my friend and I went there. Lo and behold, we ended up going three days in a row to finish our tattoos. My artist, Meteor, was excellent as a professional and as a skilled artist. My only complaint is that I didn't realize that I had sensitive skin, so I ended up with an allergic reaction to the ink. I ended up putting Neosporin on it and it's slowly healing. I know that technically it's not Meteor's fault, but I wish I had a bit of advice on what to do when confronted with this, other than the paper slip of directions that they handed me. Will definitely come back, and hopefully use another type of ink for sensitive skin. read more

Went in and got my nipples pierced, something I've wanted for years but never had the balls. They instantly made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Meteor did my piercings and they are top class!!!! Came out perfect and are healing BEAUTIFULLY! Will definitely be coming back for some ink therapy read more

I cannot day enough good things about this shop. I was looking to get my infants ears pierced (she is 2 months old) and knew I wanted to take her to a piercing studio based on research I had done. No way I wanted to take her to a 17 year old in the mall using a piercing gun. Anyways, I called ahead, they let me know they could see us, and the price was very reasonable for a studio. The shop was very clean, the staff was super friendly, the front desk girl was being trained on proper procedures and they made sure they took all the proper info for consent. Meteor did my daughters piercing (even though he didn't want to hurt her lol) and he was fantastic! Great placement, empathetic, very friendly, and even smiled for a pic for my mother in law ha! I highly recommend pumping ink and if you need work done make sure you reach out to them! read more

I was in town for only a couple days, called Pumping Ink ahead of time and they said they would be able to tattoo my friend and I as walk ins. We walked in and we were helped immediately and were being tattooed within the hour. Sal was a cool host and a great artist. Traditional style is his thing and he DID IT! I am absolutely in love with my traditional style pineapple cover up. Would definitely recommend. read more

Be careful who does your tat. There's a guy there that doesn't know how to spell and now this kid is stuck with that forever.

Went and got my first tattoo there last night, I was super nervous at the start, but the staff was super cool and fun to talk too. Pablo was the one who did my tattoo and I could not be more happy w it! read more

My friend and I went to get our nipples pierced, the piercer didn't mark either of our nipples first or make sure it was straight before he put the needle in. We were both in and out in 5 minutes. He didn't sanitize our skin before he started or clean the area afterwards. Both our piercings are crooked and one isn't even deep enough in my friends nipple, you can see the bar through it. We left and she had blood dripping all the way to her belly button. read more

They overcharge and take advantage of new customers/fort bliss soldiers...Wouldn't recommend

Took my nephew to get his ears pierced and they were very friendly and took good care of us. Very nice and clean

Well..... my daughter turned the big one-nine and, wanted to get a belly button Piercing. I being her father and following something of a family tradition took her as I did her sister to get her belly button pierced. My daughter was incredibly nervous and happy at the same time. What I truly appreciated was that I was not the only parent there with their kid. The guys that work there were really welcoming and professional. The guy informed my daughter and I on what was going to happen and knocked it out in no time. It made a great snap too. She was incredibly happy with the results as were I. I wouldn't normally endorse a parent taking their kid to get a body piercing but, as our kids get older there are things that I feel I should be a part of instead of letting her just go out and do something that can ultimately hurt her. Plus it was a shared experience. If my kid ever wants to go back to get another piercing, I feel incredibly secure with knowing that she would choose this establishment over money. The guys did a really good job and I appreciate that . read more

Me and my friend just went to get our septum pierced here and they pierced them both crooked and way too low. If I could give a negative review I would. It was unsanitary and just all around a terrible experience. read more

I've had some pretty shitty experiences with old tattoo shops I've been to, when I moved here I did a lot of research on different shops and this was the first one I wanted to go to. My husband and I actually have a friend who goes to this shop all the time and swears by the artist Gibby, to which he was amazing! He did my husbands tattoo then mine right after. Gibby was extremely kind and made sure everything was perfect before anything was done. I would definitely check this place out ! read more

Awesome place! Very nice guys. I needed to have some piercings removed & they were great about helping me out. Super nice place. The guy that helped me out was great about switching his gloves out as he worked between clients also. And he provided me info for healing the piercings in a natural way. read more

I was a walk-in on a Monday when they had just opened at 1100 and I was served immediately. I had brought my own art with me of what I wanted and after they reviewed it they set me up with Danya. He was very professional and maintained the highest level of sanitation through out the entire process. Danya did a great job with eye for attention to detail. read more

Went to Pumping Ink yesterday for piercings, both nipples and tongue. The piercer did not clean my nipples before piercing them, didn't mark them before piercing them. Tongue, this wasn't my first time getting my tongue pierced... didn't have me use mouth wash before piercing and dude jacked up my piercing. My tongue was in an abnormal amount of pain. The tip of my tongue and the entire left side of my tongue felt like someone was constantly stabbing it! I ended up calling another shop for advice and took my tongue ring out last night... 6 hrs later. Once barbell was out... tongue started to feel better! My regular artist said he probably hit a nerve. Don't go here for piercings or tattoos! She even said this place is the worst place in El Paso for piercings and tattoos!!! Stay away from this place! read more

I showed up to get a piece on my arm done and the artist I got was absolutely unskilled. It took her three hours just to draw up the sketch. Then continued to take a shot before my tattoo so god knows how much she drank before tattooing. In the end after like 2 hours of tattooing she stopped and it turned out awful and she charged me $600. She told me to come back and she'd finish it without any extra cost. I showed back up the next week and she had the audacity to try and charge me an extra $400 just for color. I ended up having to go to Florida to my tattoo artist to get it covered lol. Pictures below are before the lady at pumping inks finished product then after I got it cover and fixed. read more

After going to a bunch of tattoo places who didn't have regular earring jewelry or the right size needle to get my 2nd holes in my ears, I stumbled upon this place. Matt told me they'd have another jewelry shipment coming in soon and gave me his card. When I went in, he was great - very patient with me to get the dots right where I wanted him to pierce. He used a needle that removes a tiny part of ear lobe, and also used a thick jelly on the needle. He even told me how to breathe while he was piercing them and how the needle piercing method heals faster than using a sharp piercing earring. To top it all off, they had cute little sparkly earrings and gave me a discount : ). I got them done about 3 hours ago and have NO pain. Definitely recommend Matt for anyone's piercings! read more

They priced my tattoo at 500 dollars which seemed steep but I was okay with it because it would most likely be amazing quality. 1.5 hours later I walked out of the shop with a very sloppy tattoo. The line work is awful. It looks like complete crap. I wasted 500 dollars on a tattoo that was done hurriedly and terribly. I am extremely disappointed and will never go there again. I tried to contact the manager and got NO response. This tattoo is sloppy work and now I have to pay to have someone to fix it. The google picture is the one I gave them. The other two are what the tattoo looks like. It's not worth 200 let alone 500!!! read more

I came here for a double nose piercing. Pete made it very easy. They gave me a ring that was too small and pierced it crooked so now I have 2 huge bumps on my nose. I will not ever go back read more

Fuck this over priced bs ass shop trying to take advantage of new customers instead of helping them get a nice price so they're willing to come back... never will I come back to this shop read more

I received my first tattoo here yesterday, and it was a great experience. My artist Pete was very sweet and helpful. The only reason I'm not giving a whole 5 star rating is the price. $80 was a little steep for a small two word phrase on my inner arm, but the piece is beautiful; clean lines and beautiful curves. So I don't mind it too much! Very clean, and the decor was JUST my style. There are also computers available to customers in the back of the shop for reference. I'll definitely be going back! read more

I went in to get my nostril pierced. They unfortunately we're out of jewelry for me but recommended a shop down the street to get some. They were reasonably priced there and I got 10 dollars off the pierce price. Meteor did my piercing and did wonderful! I was chatting a lot because I was nervous and he answered all my questions and then some. He pierced it quick and gave me lots of care info. My nose is doing wonderful, I'm extremely pleased with my experience! read more

Pumping Ink is the most impressive tattoo parlor I've been to in several states. Alex in particular is an extremely talented artist. He is so skilled that I am confident I can walk in, give him a very rough idea and within minutes he is able to turn my body into a work of art. Absolutely incredible, I can't recommend enough. All of the staff here are very professional and helpful. Prices are fair here, the more experienced artists charge more, but you get what you pay for here, guaranteed. read more
