The cod/scallop dish was awful. The cod was RUBBER and unchewable. The two scallops were delish but only 2. The fried calamari was very good. The waitress could not care a less about it. We were in Herbon for 3 weeks and ate at Pulperia Rial in Padrone about every other night the entire time. We tried many items on the menu and all were excellently prepared. the service was excellent. The staff started bringing out wine and bread as soon as they saw us. And, they put up with my not so good Spanish. I learned the names of many dishes in Gallego, and by the time we got back to Madrid, and I was ordering dishes using Gallego words, the waiter looked at me quizically and asked, "?Eres Gallego?"
