Even though it's a relatively small theatre, they do have all of the new releases and a decent amount of screenings. You would think that you could just buy tickets on opening nights but they do get sold out! And even if you do purchase a ticket in advance (you can do this online as well), you should still plan to arrive early because parking can be a beast and you will most likely have to wait in a long line if it is an opening night. Service here is alright. Not exceptionally friendly but not remarkably rude. The popcorn seems fresh and there are those smart soda machines where you can choose a TON of different flavor combinations. Sometimes the machines seem a big laggy to me but I just get water or a coke anyway. I like that the jalepenos are in individual plastic containers over ice (less risk of germs) and they also have free popcorn power flavorings (though I've never tried them). The movies here start right on time so be prepared for that. The theatres seem clean enough. They show mostly locally made advertisements while you wait so there's a nice small town feel to it. Exchanging tickets and using pre-purchased online tickets have been easy for me. Not a headache like they can be at other theatres. Nice, nice theatre. Clean inside and out. I have a special appreciation for and of the refreshment center. One of my major reasons for theatre going is the popcorn. Can hardly watch a movie without it. I buy it, grease it, powder it up, and eat it. This theatre has a nearly full service refreshment area, resplendent with hot dogs, ice cream specialties, and candy. The numerous condiments is exceeded by the numerous choices of movies. There are several selections available viewed in their own carousels. The only thing lacking is sufficient parking space. This theatre needs more of this. All-in-all, this theatre has good service and good services! read more

This is the only movie theater in Pullman as far as I know. Seating is stadium style, always a plus to me because I'm not that tall. The theaters are decent sized, as are the screens. The seats are comfortable, and the sound and projection systems work well. It looked like they had a decent selection of snacks. It is all you need in a basic movie theater, the only downside is that it doesn't always get all the movies you might want to see, and because it is the only choice in the area that can get annoying. read more

With the cost of a movie these days, even a matinee, I should be able to go to the theater and buy fresh popcorn for my kids. Stop using day old popcorn (I hope not older). I used to work at a theater, it is not hard to make new corn. Stop serving old stale popcorn to your paying customers. It is cheap and disrespectful to people who pay good money to come to your movies. I have been to several matinees in the last year and not once has there been fresh popcorn. The employees even apologized and said that is how they are told to do it. Respect your customers and serve fresh food worth the money you are charging. I can only imagine what you do with other food products. I am very disappointed that you would serve stale old food to customers, especially children. read more

I received a free movie ticket as a gift. They wouldn't accept it saying it wasn't good for any of the movies they were showing right now and to try again in a couple weeks. There's nothing on the card limiting it's use. Very poor business practice. read more

Considering this is the only movie theater in Pullman, it's not to bad. They have a few screens and they have the latest movies (people were camped out for the midnight showing of Batman when I was there). It's clean, and the staff is friendly. Prices are on the cheap compared to your local cineplex in a big city. Kids pack was $2.50, nachos $3.50 and my ticket for a matinee was $7. read more

Village Centre Cinemas is the only movie theatre in Pullman. The next closest theater is on the far side of Moscow, Idaho, and is even smaller. It's decently sized although if you are wanting to see a new movie opening weekend I would advise going pretty early or, even better, buying presale tickets online to ensure you get in to see the movie when you want. The popular shows fill up extremely fast. Buying tickets from the box office can be a little annoying since you are funneled into a small area to buy the ticket before entering the lobby area of the theater. The inside is nice and cleanly kept. The theaters themselves are decently sized with comfortable seats. There isn't much room between the front rows and the screen so if you get stuck up front you might have an ache in your neck by the end of the movie. There's plenty of parking, however, after the show, getting out of the parking lot can be a hassle since there is only one exit that leads into a fairly busy street. I tend to take my time leaving to avoid the traffic congestion. read more

Went here to see Suicide Squad a day before worldwide release. We chose to get our tickets earlier in the day and were surprised when we had shown up at 6 there was a 10 person line forming. We waited 15 minutes then we were seated. I saw that they offered a special Suicide Squad Fountain drink cup that I NEEDED TO HAVE IN MY LIFE. It came with the super combo (Large Popcorn and Special Cup) and it was $11. The theatre however was a bit dirty from the last showing (Popcorn on the floor, prior drinks in cup holders) small stuff that could be fixed. Overall this theatre is very local, kind of small and an enjoyable experience. read more

Decent theater and the only one to be found in Pullman. Yes, it's a small theater but Pullman is a small town. Ticket prices are comparable to other theaters out there and, if anything, popcorn prices are cheaper than those you'd find in the big city. Matinee showings are before 6pm and you get $2 off. There are also free popcorn powder flavorings, which is fun and tasty. It's also nice that this theater is owned by a local company and preview ads are for local businesses. read more

There really isn't much of a selection in Pullman/Moscow in the way of movie theaters. The CUB will play movies but those are not new releases. The ticket prices are about the same as anywhere else, $18 for 2 tickets. I can't remember if students get a discount here or not. The BF and I saw Ender's Game here and since it was opening night, it was practically a sell out crowd. Luckily we came straight from dinner even though we were on the early side and we were able to get good seats. After almost 2 hours, I was ready to get out of the theater seats. I have seen many movies here in the past and while it's nothing special, at least there is something at all. read more

I remember when this theatre first opened! Very exciting =) This is a great place to see a first-run movie, with multiple large screens and comfy stadium-seating. The parking lot fills up fast, but seeing as it is one of the major venues for entertainment in Pullman, that makes sense...what I did really enjoy about this theater is the nice drive-way, that allowed space for cars to drop-off or pick-up with ease and less congestion. Pullman Cinema - 3 stars Pullman Cinema is a wonderful place to go if you want to watch a movie in and Pullman. Every time I go there the sound is loud, however is clear and pleasant to the ears. The picture is of good quality. The whole building is clean and well-kept - it looks like a typical quality Cinema. The only con it has is price, but if you're looking for a fun time this is the place to go in Pullman for your a Movie. The staff are polite and we'll answer any questions that you have. read more

The movie theatre is really good for such a small town! They have quite a big movie selection, they're always playing the movies that I want to watch. The popcorn is always fresh and they have one of those fancy soda machines. I wish they had a bigger combo selection, because they only have 2 a family combo (extra large popcorn and 2 medium drinks $15) and a large combo (extra large popcorn and a large drink $11). Most of their popcorn are refillable which is nice, and they also have a big seasoning selection. The seats are comfy although they don't recline, but I didn't expect anything fancy. Staff Are Always friendly and helpful. Special snack tray options are available for children in handy little trays when summer children's specials are running. Screenings rooms are small, so you are always have great view. I've never had trouble finding seating with groups of up to 5 people. If you are a local, you'll most likely run into a friend or two. Cleanliness is typical for a theatre, usually clean, but occasionally a missed popcorn kernel. Big restrooms, ladies, so usually no wait. Nice atmosphere, good place to spend a couple of hours. Plenty of parking. Nice restaurants/hotel just down the road for travelers. read more

This movie theater does not seem to be very well run at all! The last time we went, we purchased tickets and could not find a place to sit together. Upon going back to the ticket counter, the employees acted like we were stupid and said that there was plenty of seats and some would be together. I could not believe that they would act this way. I asked them if we could just see another movie that was about to start. Einstein and Tesla then had to ask their supervisor how to make this happen. We then went to the other movie without any incident. Really, I am not sure why so many places in the Palouse need to treat customers in this way! read more

POSITIVES * For a city the size of Pullman, I like the number of movies that play. * Usually pretty clean in the lobby and in the theater rooms. * Plenty of extra seasonings for the popcorn. * Smart soda machines. * Movies start right on time. * Popcorn has always seemed to be fresh to me. NEGATIVES * Seats don't recline AT ALL. * Can't speak to the women's restroom, but men's restroom is run down and often dirty. * I wish they had some earlier options. I can sometimes do a lunchtime movie (lunch + a little extra time) when it's a day where I'll be putting in a lot of extra work hours on the back end. But I can't justify leaving at 3:30 or 4 in the afternoon. * Worst website ever because it is ALWAYS out of date on the Final Review and is frequently incorrect on the showtimes section with which movies take passes and which don't. The theater did a deal with the Z-Fun but the passes don't work for feature movies. Unfortunately, ALL movies always say no passes. You can't call to find out because nobody answers the phone. It's only automated. I talked to the new GM about this, and had some ideas, but nothing changed. So, essentially, they had a deal with the radio station, but have never had a mechanism in place to handle the passes. The movie theater here is great, it really is. All the negatives are things that can easily be taken care of! read more

I lived and studied in Pullman, Washington for many years. It's a small town and a beautiful community, and this cinema perfectly captures the essence of the town. It always has the latest movies, the sound and the screen are definitely top class. The pop corn is on the pricier side, and I would be happy if they start having more special deals for their loyal customers. Having a special slot for international movies will be greatly appreciated in this cinema (like Bollywood, or Bengali, or French movies) given that Pullman, WA is a very culturally diverse town with students from 160 countries studying here. read more

Today is Thursday, Dec. 5. We checked the theater web site for the showtimes to find that it listed showtimes through Tues. Nov. 26. So I called the listed phone number to get the current showtimes. On the recording it stated that showtimes recorded were good through Thurs. Dec. 5, today. "Frozen" in 2D was to show at 11:00 a.m. Wed. through Sun. So we arrived at the theater at 10: 50 to find the doors were all locked, and no employee cars were in the parking lot. There was one additional car in the parking lot with 2 women waiting for the same show. While we waited, another car arrived with a man, women and small child for the same show. We all waited until 11:10 hoping someone would arrive to open the theater. As we were leaving an additional car came with a young mother and her 2 to 3 year old little girl, who was going to her first movie. We let them know that the theater was locked tight. The look on that little girl's face was very, very sad as she turned to leave. Now as we were leaving we notice another car arriving with a single man driving. We turned around and followed him back to the front door where he had parked. He immediately let us know that the theater was not yet open. We told him that both the web site and the phone message gave the showtime for "Frozen" as 11:00 a.m. He told us to our faces that that could not true and that they would not have posted that information. We told him that 3 other families had also been there trying to see that same movie. He again told us that we did not know what we were talking about. We have since returned to the theater to find that the gentleman that we had talked with is the General Manager. For a General Manager of a theater to treat the patrons of his theater with such disrespect is unbelievable. He was not the least bit interested in hearing of or correcting the incorrect posting, or trying in some manner to make up for our wasted trip to the theater. I will definitely reconsider before I make another trip to this theater. read more
