As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with Royal Jordanian. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell again

    Yelp Review 2023 #69:…read more I've been to over fifty countries and I do enjoy using public transportation when I travel especially trains/ subways/ metro - it's cheap, I hate driving and hate driving in Latin America and Asia even more, and can sometimes be quicker than taking an Uber/ taxi. At the Mexico City International Airport, you'll find a small kiosk where you can buy a metro card which you can use for paying for fares when using the metro, train, and bus in Mexico City. The cost of the card itself is 15 pesos and you can put whatever you want on your card (know fare prices and how often you'll be using public transportation). When you exit the airport, turn left and keep waking for about 5-10 minutes until you see signs to Terminal Aerea. It was raining when I was there and there's no covering so I got wet. Take note they only have stairs so, if you have a big piece of luggage, you might not want to use the metro. I had a carry-on luggage so, it was light even when going up/ down the stairs. But Mexico City public transportation and stations tend to be overwhelmingly chaotic and busy (but not as bad as public transportation in China or India - those are just impossible!). Their metro doesn't have A/C. You just rely on cracking windows open. I had to stand up the whole time as there were no seats. When your Mexican friends are shocked and scared that you used public transportation in Mexico, it's for a reason. Their family members have had bad experiences such as being a pickpocket victim. And I was a solo female traveler. I had to transfer to another metro to get to my hotel. And the particular line I needed to take was out of service! Great! Just great! So, I ended up taking a taxi outside the station while it was pouring and flooding.

    Successful tips to using the metro from Mexico City airport to get into city…read more -as you enter the arrivals area turn left and go towards gate A, walk out the door towards a covered sidewalk on the left along the building(yes you will have left the airport building), keep walking and blend in with the others, you'll eventually see the metro logo -buy your ticket from a ticket window(this isn't America so you can't buy it from a machine) -there will be no air conditioning you spoiled tourist -if you have luggage, you should be able to lift it up and down flights of stairs -it costs 30cents USD to buy a ticket( uber cheap) -all seats are up for grabs, if you see one put your butt down -pay attention to the stop, to know which to get off -metro stations have names or you can use the icons each station is designated after -careful of your belongings but don't be so obvious -don't be bothered that the metro is packed and bodies are smooshed against the doors-just squeeze in with them, otherwise wait for then next train, but it won't be empty that's for sure Overall, the metro system was more advanced that I imaged it to be. It gets you from point A to B. There might be some transfers in between but hey it's a 30 cent USD trip!

    05/20/2018 Checking is easy when you screen captures…read moreeverything. I just don't understand why you could not check-in with just your passport. So we have to stand in that line just to get checked in? Are you going to search this guy with these giant square-ish shaped packages that look like something you don't want on the same plane? Once at the front of the line, the flight attendant at this window got us checked in. Now off the the security part so no weapons or liquids. We were so early, we waited at the gate for 3 hours before we could board. The flight was great because you get a whole drink and a whole bag of chips.

I get a notice from Interjet 1 day before my flight that all international flights have been cancelled due to the Corona Virus. I went to change my flight to another date and they want to charge me 139 dollars each way since I did not make the change 24 hours prior to my flight?! How are they not going to honor my change when Interjet didn't even give myself a 24 hour notice!? So they are going to notify me on March 24,2020 about international flight cancellation and I try to adjust my flight on that same day and they want to charge me 139.00 each way for not changing 24 hours in advance?! I wasn't even asking for a refund! How is that even possible! You guys are absolute crooks and I will fight tooth and nail. I will take legal action if need be. It's not even about the money anymore. Its about principle! Do what is right Interjet and stop being so greedy! I won't stop till I get reimbursed. To everyone else, contact your bank/credit card company because this pandemic is in legal terms "an act of God" and out of our hands. We are being unfairly charged for these flights that Interjet is not reimbursing! All other airlines are reimbursing their customers with no issues, but Interjet is not!
