Most inexpensive way to get from point A to point B. Easy boarding. Friendly crew. Seats feel a little cramped-in but you get what you pay for. Overall, we've never had issues with this airline.

This airline is the worst. I have been here in Mexico City airport for over 24 hours. I need some compensation. So terrible and no one wants to help.

Suspension of the airline.

Worst experience in interjet airline Mexico. My flight was delayed approximately 5 hours from Tuxtla Gutierrez to Mexico City. Then, arriving to Mexico City, security informed us that our flight had been cancelled to Hermosillo. Therefore, we directed to seek help for cancelled flights, but the flight on the website was still showing that the flight was only delayed and not cancelled. Some people from my group went to get our luggage while others lined up for cancelled flights assistance. Then one of my group overheard that the flight had only been delayed. We run to the area where the flight was going to depart, and waited even longer. Important note, while waiting in the row of cancelled flights assistance, a strike of people was made and everyone complained of bad service since many people had been waiting for the flight for hours or even days. Even the Federal Consumer Attorney's Office suspended the interjet airline at the moment. I even had to see a lady who couldn't find her pet, and they didn't solve anything for her. Our bags are not yet found. Very bad experience for me and for all those people who went through this.

I think this airline is hit or miss. The main problem is delays. They use the southwest model where they try to turn around the plane immediately after landing, but if there is a delay, it can cause significant problems. I went form Tijuana to Mexico City, it was a few minutes late leaving, but pretty much arrived on time. The seats on the plane are not the best, seem kinda old. The snack provided is fine, you get a bottled drink and choice of chips.

No toilet seat covers

Our flight out of Tijuana International airport was delayed by 5 hours because of heavy fog. The electronic display boards said the flight was delayed, but some Interjet employees said it had been canceled. We were then told to leave the secure area and go out to the Interjet counter in the main terminal to get an alternate flight. We waited in line for another 30 minutes before being told that our flight was not canceled but delayed, and that it would leave 5 hours after the original departure. We did not hear any announcements of cancelations over the loudspeaker and the flight information electronic display boards kept saying it was delayed and even after getting the confirmation that the flight would leave 5 hours later than usual, the boards were not updated. We're not annoyed about the delay, it's a pain but it is not the fault of the airline. What really annoyed us was the lack of proper communication and the disorganization of Interjet. Now for our review of the airplanes. The leg room is very spacious, but the seats are uncomfortable. Many of the seats are missing air sickness bags and even a menu showing what can be ordered. The aircraft also doesn't have WiFi. The bathrooms have a holder for toilet seat paper covers but there are none. Most of the time the plane bathrooms were lacking hand soap, paper cups, and paper towels (This was the case even when I was the first person on the flight to use the bathrooms). The airline doesn't seem to clean the toilets, as they look and feel dirty. They won't allow people to switch seats and sit in priority seating even if the seats are empty. Our flight back to Tijuana had overhead screens to see landing, takeoff and videos. Sadly none were operational

I read all the reviews of Interjet and I also checked the prices for my flight. There is a good reason why so many people travel with them. The reason being , it is among the least expensive. I did not expect much so it was better than what I expected with one exemption. So the good things first, plenty of leg room, I've gone in planes where there is not enough space from side to side or legroom whatsoever, on the plane I few, it was comfortable. As for the food, I did not expect anything but I got some snacks and they were OK. I got some wine and drinks so that was relaxing. Overall the flight attendants were also friendly. On the bad side, I had to pay for my luggage since they have weight and size restrictions, so make sure you read the fine print. I just paid, still saved overall. Would I fly on this airline? I probably will. If you have time to save on another airline you can.

What a terrible airline. The good is that it got us there safely. We were only 30 minutes late…read morewhen we went to Mexico City. We were on time going back. There's a lot of bad: 1) The seats feel like bus seats. They were really firm and hard, reminding me of elementary school chairs. 2) I paid to choose my seat, but we didn't have those seats on our return flight. It would have made little difference, anyway, because the rows are virtually identical from the front to back of the plane. Space is limited. 3) The loading process is disorganized. Most logical carriers will load elderly and people with disabilities before loading everyone else. For some reason, Volaris does not do that, and it causes loading to be far longer. 4) Customer service doesn't exist before, during, or after the flights. If you try to check reservation information, you can only talk to AI or chatbots. They give you the option to text customer service through WhatsApp if you have questions; however, they will give a generic, unhelpful answer that mirrors what the AI/Chatbot says. 5) Flight attendants are there to do the bare minimum. Carry a credit card if you want anything (food, water, etc) as there is a cost to everything. Flight attendants could not even care less if people were getting up when the plane was ascending/descending. 6) If you are tall, you will not enjoy the limited seat space 7) If you didn't pay an extra fee for a seat assignment, then you will not be assigned your seat till the day of the flight. If you did pay for your seat, they could still move your seat, despite you paying for it. Because of their literally absent customer service process, if you have legitimate disability accommodations, they cannot accommodate that till you arrive at the airport. By that time, the seats have already been assigned and there is little they can do to accommodate you. This is the reason people with disabilities were limping without assistance onto the flight in group 6, rather than being boarded prior to the general population. 8) Even if there is a delay to the flight, they do not consistently update their passengers. I had a 30-40 minute delay going from LAX to MEX, but it did not show that there was a delay until we arrived at Mexico City. 9) This is a low-cost carrier and it can be considerably cheaper than other alternatives if you don't carry baggage. If you are carrying baggage and choosing a seat, there may only a 10-20% difference (compared to 30-40%, as you'd see on google flights). Volaris is completely unprofessional. I hear Viva Aerobus is even worse. This said, I'd probably stick with AeroMexico next time I go to Mexico.

On both my flights to and from my destination vacation they made me feel as if I did something wrong. First in the way to Mexico they pulled my suitcase and told me that I couldn't take it on board and must check it in when I explained how this would possibly make me lose my bus they didn't care and said I better listen it will not be allowed on. Then on my way back to Los Angeles they selected me to check my bag right before boarding . Again really , I just went through your high security check point , soooo rude to do this and make their passengers feel like they are being picked on. Then as she rummaged through my things and obviously found nothing and made me now lose my priority because supposedly I am on priority boarding the next person selects me to say that my bag needs to be checked in because it might be too large which it wasn't. But since I refused to lift it up on her baggage check since I can't lift bags (the reason both my brothers were with me paying to all board together) she said too bad I'm going to check your bag in now. Seeing that three people all chose to stop me and choose me to stop for each their own reason felt like bullying and harassment. I had to be on this plane feeling awful with a bad taste in my mouth; feeling defeated and picked on. Sad to see others after me not bothered and having purse, backpack and carryon and not stopped while I just had that one carry on. I am so disappointed and disgusted with this airline. I'm Done!!! Done !!!I strongly suggest everyone to fly anything but American Airline. Not my choice in the future and I will make sure to tell my friends and family to chose another.

I am talking about 8 hrs to 18 hrs in LAX or LAS. Overall, it was a decent flight. Arrived on time and departed on time.

I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. At this station make sure your senior/handicap enters on the left side, so assure a seat. You can accompany them on that side too. The -2 stars is because there is zero discount for seniors/handicap. Which I think is extremely unfair since metro & metrobus give them free unlimited access. Also the need for a 2nd type of prepaid card is a hassle especially bc I've only used it twice in my life & never carry it. So I have to purchase another if I forget it or don't plan ahead. Let alone if you're a tourist in a group, every person needs one bc its non shareable unlike meteo/metrobus!!!

I was looking for an…read moreATM (near the back of the building, past all the shops) and came across a permanent looking ring, where a 6 year old boy was wailing on a 8 year old girl. The kids were covered in padding, so it's not like they were in any real danger. The shops are nice- good for travelers, and people who are commuting on the trains. Sleek marble surfaces and chrome are the decor here, so it looks nice. It feels safe here. There's plenty of things going on around here- a bus station and a big library are next door. The station has a bunch of subway lines that come/go from here. They have a little model train that is supposed to go around on a track past miniature rural scenes. However that wasn't working, and a full scale model train that wasn't working either. Out in front of the station, tacos and other street foods are sold for ridiculously cheap prices. On the side of the station is the Plaza of the Americas- a nice open place to hang.
