This was our first winery visit on the Uco valley wine tour today. It was a very informative tour with a guide who spoke English very well and also incorporated an aromatic experience. First time ever doing that. Basically you close your eyes and they offer various spices, fruits, vegetables, etc. for you to smell and guess what it is. Some were obvious and others quite difficult to figure out. Then we started the wine tasting. Pinot Gris was good followed by a Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec/Cabernet blend, and Cabernet Franc. They are known to have the best Cab Franc in Argentina...it was pretty good but too peppery for my taste. The Pinot Gris and red blend were the most smooth, easy drinking wines we had. Overall great experience! read more
