We first walked in and immediately felt the passion that both Katie and Michelle had for not only teaching but for the kids. And it's definitely evident when we see them with our child. Below are just some of the many reasons we love the school: They follow the DOE (department of education) calendar. If you have other kids, you know how important it is to have them all off at the same time for vacations!  Small class sizes. The kids get the one-on-one they not only need, but deserve. The teachers really get to know the kids on a personal level and it shows when they do the parent teacher conferences. They are able to articulate where your child is excelling and where they need extra attention and give you the support you need to help them at home.  Strong Montessori foundation. We've explored many other types of schools but have found that Montessori is the absolute best for our child. She's just started Kindergarten and will be well above 2nd grade level once she's finished.  After school programs. The school offers many exciting after school programs that the kids love like soccer, dance, science and even yoga. These really benefit us in particular because they go beyond the normal school hours and work best with our work schedules.  Price. Very affordable especially considering the quality education that the kids receive and there are plenty of programs for financial assistance (preschool open doors).  Cultural/environmental awareness. One thing we really love is how our child is now very aware of their environmental footprint and how they can make positive changes. For instance, they have a Monk Seal responder team that will actually go out and meet when there is a Monk Seal sighting. This hands on approach is such an amazing way for the kids to learn. When you walk in the staff and the fun learning environment is so warm and inviting. I felt a warm heartfelt Aloha, considering how busy the staff were. I love the whole staff that work there and service the community in different capacities. Imua has a wonderful inclusion program second to none. The teachers and staff are their to service my littles, and other students and clients, with Aloha, compassion, kindness, and love. My child is always looking forward to go to school. My wife is very happy, this was her first choice for preschool. It is something that we absolutely agree that Imua preschool is the best on the island and it is not your ordinary preschool, and is a perfect fit for our child.

Maui HS Is close to the OGG Airport for me flying in from Oahu. Great sportsmanship from coaches, parents and the wrestlers that compete here. Administrators are very supportive of our great sport of wrestling too. The Maui HS wall of fame inside gym is a great tribute to those Maui attendees that became iconic Americans who's sacrifice and goal of excellence, made a mark upon our great nations character, through their life achievements. This musical knocked it out of the park! Excellent casting, musical score, props and wardrobe, lighting, it all just ran smoothly and created a magical night. Well done to everyone who worked on it. I love The Adams Family and hadn't realized there was a musical version, and it had quite a few laugh lines scattered throughout to keep you amused too. I was surprised there wasn't a bigger audience....I go to school plays on island when I can and am always amazed at how polished and professional they are, and a great night out for a cheap ticket! I paid $13 for an adult and $5 for an 11 year old. Much cheaper than the movies.

(many students can vouge for this statement) Very disappointing for someone to hold such a title as a Vice Principal. You are supposed to be uplifting students, and kind to others . Not setting students up for failure or discouraging them. Do better King K! and as for you Miss Alison, i hope you use this as a wake up call and change your very poor behavior, or honestly just leave this job. You should have never been a Vice Principal never the less be anywhere near a school with how you treat others.
