when a cupcake lover travels and sees a bakery, it is her duty to walk in and see what's in the…read moredisplay case. in this case, lots, and lots of pretty cupcakes! the front of the store had assorted decorations, as if they were ready to host a tea party or dessert gathering for the ladies! in the middle, was the display case, filled with cupcakes...i'm thinking that i came around the time they opened since the case was full and there weren't any customers inside yet. despite the fact that the lady behind the counter did not speak english, we were able to communicate since i understood some of the flavours in spanish. there was blackberry, strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, oreo cookie, salted caramel, and several others that i cannot remember, but all delicious sounding flavours! i picked the blackberry for my husband and the strawberry for myself, for a total of €4, pretty good for full-size cupcakes! even with the conversion rate, that's still quite a bit less than what i'd pay for a cupcake in the bay area! we enjoyed our cupcakes as we wandered around town, and i have to be honest and say that the cake portion was a bit on the dry side and did not have much flavour. however, the frosting was very creamy and not overly sweet (like some american bakeries). i had a bit of my husband's cupcake and could taste the blackberry in the frosting, a flavour that i never had before in the states. my cupcake had a nice berry-flavoured frosting, and i loved that both were presented in a rose-shaped swirl. 5 stars for the concept and the friendly customer service. 3.5 for the actual cupcake, taste, texture, and size.

The restaurant is in a small strip with very small parking spots, but right off the highway and close to many resorts. The menu has something for everyone. I am very picky and felt I had multiple options to choose from. Some options included: omelettes, toast, egg and meat combos, American pancakes, oat bowls, and more. They also have smoothies, milk shakes and lots of coffee options!The service was quick and there was no wait to be seated. My whole family was very happy with our restaurant choice!
