The Pueblo KOA is convenient, has all the extras you'd want, nice people, and is a clean campground. Brand new bathrooms, a range of sites from tents, rigs, and cabins. We find the sites easy to park and hook up and easy to navigate.

Good old Joe "helping" us park or 30 ft RV over this ditch that all most took off our stairs. Rock with eyes

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! Joe who didn't do us any favours parking our RV over a 4 foot ditch and bottoming out our stairs. Then telling us "everyone does it"or " I don't own the place ".We asked if they had any other easier spots that we could move to. Joe said NO. Yet the next day no one had parked next to us or anywhere else. Long story short. No one should pay to have there own nice things ruined buy people who don't care. It should have been a great experiences.

I love KOA, always have. Being in the Rocky Mountains in Pueblo cabin camping makes it all that much better. Really nice attentive folks run this place. Beautiful decent pizza at their cafe in a clutch. Easy to find just off of I-25 South in Pueblo CO. If you've never traveled this way out under the stars at night in a tent, Cabin or a parked RV try it out you won't be sorry.

So this started out as a 3 star review for me do to the confusion of checking in and figuring out our reserved spot. This is due to the lack of hours that the office is open which can be ok as long as you leave the reservation info in the night box so we know where to go. Anyhow, our experience improved from there. It turns out that the owner is quite nice and he wants you to have a pleasant experience in his park. We are in the very early stages of considering to purchase and run and RV Park of our own and the owner here was very forthcoming and helpful with some of the things that it takes to get a park up and running and then how to maintain it going forward. The park itself is a typical KOA non-destination park. Level gravel sites, full hook ups, decent sized spots, etc... Verizon service was good, wifi was so-so.

If going northbound on the interstate and you exit 108 you find yourself at a one car, 13' 3" tunnel that we were not about to try to pull our 5th wheel through to get to the other side of the interstate. Not a chance. We went almost 15 miles north to Pikes Peak Raceway exit to be able to cross over the highway. Park is clean, mainly rock and gravel. Interstate noise and train prominent if you are outside but not an issue once inside RV.

The one on the right is mine.

This place is a joke.! They don't remove snow by the bathrooms. The hot tub gave me a rash. The cable was ok but the internet couldn't stream anything without buffering. There is no landscaping in the new area and the wind is terrible. I was a monthly and their new spots have shitty water pressure, $650 a month is too expensive for an RV spot in Pueblo. If you are only overnight it's probably great.! I was not and it sucked.! Also neighbors walk by your spot or through it and have no respect for boundaries let their dogs crap at your spot..! When I told the owner that I was having an issue with Mr. Cox he called me crazy to workers.! This is not a good place to VAY-K..! The Colorado Springs KOA is way nicer, so if you are going south stop in the Springs if going north keep going until you get to the springs. Also there is a bridge you have to go under that is one lane on the north bound side to get there so be careful getting there. The desk workers that were nice and complained about other workers being rude were forced out to other KOAs.! Sad .! We have moved to a nicer place but I won't say where because I am afraid of retaliation..! Happy camping and stay safe out there.! They have yet to return our electricity deposit of $200 even though they read it that morning and we paid it..! Sad

Located just North of town, this is a nice, well kept campground, run by the nicest and friendliest folks you will ever meet. Be aware, it is in the warm, dry, desert area of Colorado. There is not a lot of shade. However the pool is exceptionally clean and inviting. The all you can eat pancake breakfast is well worth the small price. Very nice laundry and shower facilities. If you have an issue or concern during your visit, no sweat, someone will be nearby to quickly assist. Coming from the South, driving a tall rv makes entry into the park a little bit challenging as there is a single lane bridge with 13ft of height clearance. Same is true if leaving the park and heading north on I-25. If this creates an issue for you, simply go to an exit up or down the highway, turn around to make sure you are staying on the west side of the interstate and avoid any concerns. Thank you to all if the owners and staff, for making our stay very enjoyable.

My family and I have been camping up here many times and again most recently. I love this campground because: ++ The host (and family) is beyond friendly, super accommodating, generous, always has a smile on his face and is quite the talker. He and his wife come up each summer to run the joint, and as a result, they have made many friends, and have a great energy about them. ++ Bathrooms! Yes, I will admit I am more of a "glamper" - meaning I'm okay to not pee in the woods. With restrooms located throughout the two-loop campground, I can do my business in peace. The facilities are well equipped with toiletries, air fresheners and isn't too bad for a toilet that doesn't flush! ++ Loop one features LARGE campsites perfect for tents and trailers, are close to the roaring water, and provide so much shade! Loop two, is closer to the camp host, main road to town and provides less shade, but is just as nice! Sites are well maintained, clean and provide plenty of room to spread out. ++ Fires are allowed! With fire bans throughout the state, it's nice to have the ability to have a contained fire in the pit. We roasted marshmallows, cooked steaks and spent ample time talking, singing and staring at the stars. It's not truly camping, without a fire! ++ Firewood delivery! The hosts granddaughter (who is all of 10 years old), makes a point to deliver firewood to anyone that requests and pays for the three-pack minimum - all for $20, plus a few buck tip for the delivery! ;) ++ Views for dayyyyyssssss! Overlooking the twin lakes that the town was named after, and just at the base of Mt Elbert - it's hard to go wrong with a view that great! ++ Just a short 2 1/2 hour drive from Denver, 20 minutes from downtown Leadville, and 2 minutes from Twin Lakes! --No reservations are allowed - meaning this place fills up FAST as it is a first come, first serve basis. Previously when camping here, we were able to come up Friday morning to grab a killer spot. With its popularity increasing, now one must come up earlier in the week (like Wednesday!) to get a spot. We were lucky to snag the LAST spot in loop two. --For $22/night, I found this to be a bit steep for an overnight price. --Less privacy in loop two! Our little site was a bit small for the four of us, and the only decently flat and shaded place for our tent was awfully close to our neighbors. Despite the few downsides, I know we'll continue to summer camp at Parry Peak!

We didn't need it because the acoustics of the amphitheater were amazing. We had a harpist and the music carried beautifully. Their voices were clearly heard throughout the amphitheater. Our rainy day plan was the pavillion, which is lovely and amazingly well planned. This is a gorgeous place for a wedding. I can't believe I didn't mention the staff. We moved to the Springs from Denver a few months ago and we love how quiet this park is compared to other trails near Denver. This park is also very clean! As someone who doesn't like using public restrooms I thought these bathrooms were so clean. We enjoy that the park has plenty of parking, one of the parking lots even has a playground, and a pump for your bike tires. There's also picnic tables which we really enjoy using after our hike. We haven't camped here or mountain biked but that is an option too. Some hikes are easy enough for you to bring your kids, and others offer more of an incline. In the summer you see birds, butterflies, and lizards. This place is great, we really enjoy it!
