I have been coming to this office for at least 12 years maybe longer. It is always very busy. It is a huge office with a lot of people working here. Even more patients.They seriously must see hundreds of people a day here. it is located in inner city Phoenix, but since I lived in inner city Phoenix for 20 years,I think it is most convenient. Even though I have now moved to another town. I still come to this office. One of the best things about this office is they will fit you in for an appt. within 2 days. I cannot say that about anywhere else,most Doctors office have you waiting for 1 month,I have been trying to get in to a specialist that I have an appt,7weeks after I called. They really do try to get you in as quick as possible. I have friends that will have a family DR. ,become really sick and have to wait 2 weeks before they will see. Yes, you could be dead by then. This place gets you in ASAP, never more than 2 days. I love my Dr. she is friendly , efficient , and is always willing to answer questions without rushing out. Her MA is fantastic as well. They remember you when you come in and go over your chart with you each and every time. The Blood lab is right there on the property. Which makes it great that you do not have to drive anywhere else. Office: Pueblo Family Physicians Overall Experience Review When I first switched over to Pueblo Family Physicians, I was honestly hesitant and a little sad to leave my previous provider. That relationship had been a very positive one, but my husband and I began using PrEP, and my prior provider didn't offer that type of care--so we made the move to Pueblo. From the start, I was not impressed with the office staff. Their demeanor was consistently unwelcoming, disengaged, and at times outright rude. However, the reason I've stayed is because of the providers themselves. Scott and Tray are truly exceptional. They are respectful, attentive, and clear in their communication, and I genuinely appreciate every appointment I have with them. Unfortunately, my positive experience with the providers has been repeatedly overshadowed by the front office staff. On more than one occasion, I've checked in and sat in the waiting room for over an hour, only to later find out I was never actually checked in. This has happened not only to me but also to my husband--even when he was the first patient to arrive that day. A recent phone interaction further confirmed my concerns. I called to schedule my 3-month appointment and follow up on a prescription that had been pending for over two weeks. The first staff member I spoke to was difficult to understand and informed me that I already had an appointment scheduled. I assumed I had forgotten I booked it and moved on to ask about my prescription. She transferred me to someone else, who told me I did not have an appointment. I was transferred back and told, "Oh, I'm sorry--I was reading someone else's chart." This wasn't just frustrating--it was concerning. That same day, I was told a message would be sent to the provider regarding my medication. I waited all day for a response and eventually called back around 4:00 PM. I was told the message was sent, but there was no confirmation the provider had seen it. I was promised a follow-up call in 10-15 minutes, which I never received. The next morning, still without a response or prescription filled, I called again. I spoke with the same staff member and was told that my refill was denied because I hadn't completed blood work. I informed her that I had completed my blood work three months ago--she then said, "Oh yeah, I see that now. The chart I was looking at wasn't yours. It said the last blood work was in 2022." Again--wrong patient. I asked to speak with the office manager to express my concerns, especially regarding the repeated incidents of sharing another patient's medical information with me. Her response was dismissive and lacked any empathy. She made excuses and said, "Well, they didn't share the name or date of birth, so it doesn't matter." As someone who works in the behavioral health field, I know this is a clear HIPAA concern. Even without a name, discussing patient chart details with the wrong individual is unacceptable. Because of the continued errors, lack of professionalism, and the way patient information is handled, I have filed a complaint with the Medical Board. I am genuinely concerned that if this happened to me more than once, it could be happening to others as well. To be clear: the providers and their nursing staff are the only reason I continue to come to this office. If the front desk staff showed even a fraction of the same care, attention, and respect, this would be an outstanding practice. But unfortunately, the front office continues to undermine the trust and quality care the providers work so hard to give. read more

I had been a customer since 2007. Never had a bad visit, until recently. My regular PA recently left, and they assigned me Scott and Rebecca. They were a tag team bullying me before my visit even started. I ended up leaving, but still was charged for the visit. I haven't seen Dr. Cunningham since 2014. You can tell it's gone downhill. I was refused service because of a 120 bill that was being paid pre pandemic. I made appointment was never made aware of this before I drove over 15 miles and took a day off work. I got there and was told unless I pay my 50 copay and 120 I owed I will not be seen. now I coming back because my legs and ankles are swelling and was seen last month and was never told any results. I am waking up with migraines and just wanted to see if they gotten results I been there 3x for same issue. I have been with this doctor for several years because of connivence. Tiffany answered the phone and was illiterate and incapable of writing down my contact information for the doctor. I repeated myself 5x very slowly and in perfect english. I even spelled things phonetically for her and 5x later she still had it wrong. Why is Tiffany there? She useless and a waste of everyones time. I hope she's not on the payroll. While Dr. Doug's (Dr Douglas Cunningham) office isn't really close to where I live, it's good to know that he is one of the most friendly, thorough and cute doctors Ive had. Never saw a doctor, only a nurse practitioner. She did a great job at helping me out then the lies started. She told me she would refill a medicine for me when I needed it BUT when I needed it she then said I would have to go see ANOTHER doctor, third one she is referring me to. Never have I walked out of an appointment feeling violated, confused and angry like I did coming out of Pueblo. The professionalism of the staff is extremely low and the facility is dirty. I came in for a specific problem and ended up having to stay for two hours for a series of other tests I never asked for. After the doc examined my issue he then said I needed a physical and told me I needed to be on PrEP. After my prostate exam the doctor made comments about my body that were unprofessional and sexual which was completely uncalled for and made me feel violated and awkward. After that experience i was swept out of the room so the next guy could get his physical hearing the doctor yell before the door even closed: "OK, drop your drawers" so the whole lobby could hear. I just sat in this lobby for 20 minutes with no clue what I was supposed to do next. Doctors and patients were just frantically running around and I sat on this bench with two other people that looked scared and confused as well. Afterwards, a clueless tech brought me to a back room and said she was going to perform an EKG and some sort of asthma test on me? Excuse me? The doctor never said anything about getting these tests. What is going on? She responded saying "mmmm idk the doc must have asked for it." NOBODY SAID ANYTHING. After my test I was told to wait AGAIN with no warning of what was to come. At this point my "quick checkup/consultation" turned into a two hour ordeal and I had already missed too much work to stay. I checked out and left before they could sweep me off to get bloodwork done. I checked out and was forced to setup another appointment to see my results for my tests. I walked out livid and frustrated that the problem I came for wasn't taken seriously and that I was just another number here to be physically evaluated and prescribed PrEP like an animal. Normally, the doctor would just call you and share results when they were available. I'm not coming back there for some incompetent doctor to hear my results of a simple oraquick test. Unbelievable. I never asked for a physical. I asked to be seen for a completely separate and SPECIFIC problem which was shrugged off and I was handed a referral WHICH I WAS NEVER CALLED BACK FOR. I felt unsafe at this facility and the doctor who saw me felt predatory. My "appointment" dragged on for two hours and was extremely stressful and inhumane. I wish I could find something positive to say about this place but there were no redeeming qualities other than they service LGBTQ+ community. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU JUST NEED PREP. read more

However I've been seeing Dr. Cunningham & Henry for years and when their away I've had the pleasure to be seen by Trey & Scott. These are the kind of people you want as doctors. (Report they received from my asthma/allergy doctor )Cmon now # putting bandaids over the situation all about the paycheck obvious then I noticed how he treated folks who weren't my ethnicity way better . I'd like to hope someone in his position would treat everyone equally but after this i will be careful who I allow to treat my medical as clearly this was patient abandonment/ and incompetence on his part and the owner . I've been coming here awhile but it's been sadly slowly declining. This place unfortunately has circum to the in and out policy for doctors. I've switched my doctor 3 times here due to leave or lack of care and this last one unfortunately has not been on top of my meds like they should be. I have had gaps twice now in my medication which I shouldn't despite me warning them almost 2 weeks in advance that I'd be running out and I've called several times in both situations to remedy it before it happened but here I am again unfortunately with a break in my cycle for meds and now I'll have to restart my regimen because of it. I'm very disappointed as the first time I came here you could tell the doctor cared but after that it seemed like it was all about the money and getting the most patients in and out as soon as possible. read more

UPDATE: After sitting in the waiting room for over an hour and 45 minutes past my appointment time I left. I told the receptionist that I was going to cancel my credit card payment. They are really clear that if you don't show they'll charge you. I think I'm going to mail them an invoice for my hourly rate + mileage. Let's see how they respond! REPOSTING THIS TO THE CORRECT LOCATION AS I UNINTENTIONALLY PUT THE OTHER ONE ON BLAST.... NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER GO HERE! While visiting the clinic to treat my husband, the Doctor said he would write him a prescription for Ibuprofen and an Abuterol inhaler, at my husbands request. Shortly after the Doctor left, the medical assistant came in with a large syringe and proceeded to tell my husband that the Doctor said he needs the shot. My husband inquired about what was in the shot and the Medical Assistant stated "An anti-biotic and B12." To which my husband inquired about the antibiotic due to him being allergic to Penicillin. The MA was unsure of which kind and had to leave the room to inquire with the Doctor (not a great sign). The MA came back in and said it was another antibiotic (cannot remember the name). I kept saying out loud that it was weird that the Doctor ordered this and wrote a prescription for a Z-pack, when he said the script would be for the other medications; the MA just responded that he would check on the other items after he was done with this, and then proceeded to prep my husband for the injection. The MA inserted the needle into my husbands butt cheek and just as he was about to expel the syringe, I realized the age on the prescription was incorrect, then I immediately realized it was another patient's name on the script and vocalize that the prescriptions were not for him! Immediately the MA pulled the needle out and said, "Well, maybe I should double check on this, before we go any further." He put the cap back on the needle then left the room. It was extremely disturbing that he did not throw the syringe directly into a sharps container, as the script was confirmed to not be for my husband and this clinic is well-known for HIV treatments. Needless to say, we will never be returning to this Doctor's office again, and my husband has been going here for almost 20 years....HELL NO! read more

I have been coming here for 4 years and every time it's something different with the wait staff. I wait in the waiting room for 45 minutes- 1 hour before I'm seen. Usually when I'm seen it's a 10 minute appointment and then I'm done. It's frustrating to wait over an hour just for a 10-15 minute consultation or check up and write of prescription. But I come back because my PCP is Jamie Kozack and I absolutely love her!! She's watched me grow and I've always felt comfortable with her. However I was informed she will be leaving Pueblo and honestly, I will definitely be leaving with her after this appointment!!! So, I wasn't feeling well over the weekend and went in to work on Monday, my client noticed my symptoms and insisted I come to the doctor because she's noticed I'm always getting sick. I appreciate her care so I decided to check it out. I assumed it was simple a head cold but wanted to be safe and make an appointment. When I made the appointment the receptionist I spoke to on the phone said my appointment would be for Tuesday at 9:30am, I get here, and I'm told that my appointment was scheduled for THURSDAY! I asked the receptionist (we're gonna call her Linda because she plays a role in why I'm so pissed) if I can reschedule an appointment for TODAY because I wanted to figure out what was wrong with me so I could get back to work. I asked her for the earliest appointment that she got me rescheduled for 1:15pm. Here's strike 1: the wait staff is very unorganized, and doesn't communicate with their patients unless you say something to them. When I arrived at 1pm and signed in, Linda had me fill out new paperwork. So I was sitting there refilling out my information until I finally stopped and realized I didn't know what I was filling out a form for. So I went back up to Linda and asked her why I needed to fill out this giant packet form. She said since it's a new year all patients need to reregister to keep their files updated. Now, in my opinion if nothing has changed as far as my name, address, insurance and phone number.... why do you need me to fill out A WHOLE OTHER REGISTRATION FORM!? If you need an update I'll give you an update I don't need to sit here and fill out and sign a packet of 5-6 pages of unnecessary forms. That was a waste of 30 minutes! Here's strike 2: I do have a new insurance and I needed to email a copy to them. No problem! But now I've been sitting in this waiting room and it's been over 2 HOURS!!!! And I haven't been seen, I approached Linda, frustrated and asked when was I going to be seen, because I've been sitting here since 1:00 it's after 3:00?? she said it's taking a while because they needed to verify my new insurance. See now I'm getting mad, Linda said to me that they verified it 30 minutes ago!! When I gave her my copay! And I know it doesn't take an hour for insurance to be verified!!!??? So Linda has just wasted my time AGAIN!! Strike 3: This is where they lost me for good! I finally get called back after another 15 minutes of waiting. And I ask the nurse what's going on with the wait staff because Linda was just a pain in my ass! And was as helpful as a doorknob!! The nurse tells me that on her computer (AND SHE EVEN SHOWED ME) my appointment was scheduled at 3:15, not 1:15, and I arrived at 2pm, not 1pm. So now I'm ready to go IN AND BUST CAPS ON LINDA and flip out because I rescheduled my appointment from this morning WITH HER! SHE MADE MY NEW APPOINTMENT AT 1:15! So, either their system got hacked... or, she put in my appointment time WHEN I ARRIVED at 1pm on some "oh I forgot BS" and had me sitting there #wastemytime2019 for 2 damn hours!! Either way, my physician, Dr. Kozack is leaving this practice and I'm going with her because this was absolutely RIDICULOUS!! read more

They do not respond to messages, they do not follow through on what they say they are doing and they will flat out lie to your face. Go anywhere but here. I was not happy with my most recent visit to dr douglas cunningham. I went in to get a mail order prescription refill. I was then told i was getting a physical. I was not told how long it would be. I was not asked if this would work for me today. There was no consideration for me the patient. I had another appointment scheduled 75 minutes after this one. After being in the office being poked and prodded 70 minutes later i was told i had bloodwork and a shot still. Ridiculous. I asked if i could come back after lunch as i was late for a lunch appt. I was told no. Total time at pueblo family physicians 1 hour 45 minutes. Unacceptable, my time is valuable and the office staff did not respect it. I'm beginning my search for a new pcp. read more

Honestly worst doctors office EVER! I went in for my regular depo shot appointment and the whole place was beyond packed! I got in a little late. My appointment was at 8:45 and I got there and signed in at 8:48am. I didn't get seen until almost 9:40am and didn't get out until 10:00! Wasted half my day in a freaking doctor office!! The most awful place if you need help and want to speak to someone about urgent care needs. If you are insured no problem, but if you are in transition and need help with your medications, they will close the door in your face and WILL not call you back to see if there is anything that can be done to help you. When I was was with them, they gave me every test imaginable that my insurance could pay even if I didn't need it! You eventually become a "number" to them and not a human patient.
