The shop was buzzing when I went in, though I was served within a few minutes so I had time to take a look before deciding. The meat was really reasonable, around £3 ish for a huge bag, which was meant to feed three in one meal. Unless I'm stingy with my portions, I actually found that it lasted for two stews feeding five people in total! So, for around three quid this was a complete bargain. The meat itself was utterly delicious - simply 2 hours in the stew and it literally melted in the mouth. It was fabulous and not in the least bit tough! All in all I highly recommend.

I selected the cut that caught my eye, and when I got it to the kitchen I was not disappointed! Well cut and not very fatty at all, I commend them on their skill! The prices were good, worthy competitors with nearby supermarkets. Service with a smile is always a bonus, and the lads in this butchers were very kind and friendly!
