Publix had become the leading supermarket in Florida and has since expanded throughout the southeastern United States. They became the leading supermarket by putting a strong emphasis on customer service. They bring the adage "the customer is always right" to new levels. Add to this fantastic BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and that alone makes for a winning combination. Add to this the iconic subs that they make in their deli (affectionately known as Pub Subs) and they become virtually unbeatable. These subs are pretty amazing. I usually go with their Italian sub or their roast beef. Both are excellent and I guess anything you would order at their deli counter would be a winner. This particular location is in Troy, Alabama and serves this community well. I must say that I would definitely recommend this particular location or any Publix, for that matter. I choose to give it five stars for their steps in making sure a visit to a Publix is always a wonderful experience. read more

Publix Deli in Troy, Alabama is THE WORST! I love shopping at Publix but this deli is TERRIBLE! I've placed 3 orders weeks and days in advance and they are 0 for 3. Order 1- I called in an order for 90 wings - They made 90 potato wedges. Order 2 - I called in an order for a sandwich platter - I got bread, only bread on a platter. Order 3 - this past weekend I ordered 80 chicken tenders over a week in advance online. An hour and 5 minutes before pick up time the deli called saying they didn't have any tenders. 3 strikes - you're out! read more

I think this is the nicest grocery store I've ever been in. Been shopping here while in town and it is great. Every single employee I pass is like "Good morning! Finding everything ok?" Like all of them. Even the ones who are busy stocking. Store is super clean and looks very nice. If I lived here I'd be here every single day I think. read more

The one and only grocery store I go to in Troy. The prices are a bit high but they have the best selection of vegan, gf, and organic food in town. Just your average Publix. Most of the people are extremely friendly. I have to admit sometimes it is a bit scary when you feel like almost six workers have asked how your day was within ten minutes. I've only ever ran into one rude worker here and ever since have avoided her. read more

Update: Happened again! Bought 3ea of the Organic Valley Half and Half (2ea were soured); 1ea of the Organic Valley 2% milk-it was soured. Notified Publix and Organic Valley on their FB sites via FB Messaging of the recurring problems at Troy. Organic Valley responded with apologies and sending coupons. Publix replied with Troy Mgr wants my phone number so we "can talk about it." Sorry, I don't give my number out at random. Nothing against Troy-it is only couple miles from my house, compared to the longer drives to Mgty, Dothan, or Enterprise. Bought same creamer and milk from Enterprise this week-no problems with them, so something not right at the Troy store. read more
