Publix is known for their commitment to quality products, produce, and excellent customer service. The past couple of years, the various Publix locations that we've visited throughout Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee have unfortunately been a hit and miss. This Publix, however, has maintained its commitment to excellence. In particular, their customer service has been unwavering and what we've come to expect when visiting a Publix (shoutout to Terri and Maddison who have been amazing). This is the best Publix in this area. They always have items in stock, specials are clearly labeled, and the store is clean and organized. Their hot bar for lunch and deli counter is routinely stocked, looks fresh and clean. Definitely try their chicken tenders or any of their delicious Boar's Head sub sandwiches if you haven't yet. Don't pass up their produce either. They have the best tasting watermelon, pineapple, and cantaloupe. Their bakery is PHENOMENAL too! You will find the best baked goods here that rival the best artisan bakeries. Grab yourself a package of Calypso Cookies, or order yourself a Strawberry and Peach Sensation Cake or Vanilla Almond Cream Cake. You will not be sorry! Also, stop by the sushi counter for $5 sushi on Wednesdays (a great deal)! This will continually be our go-to Publix in the area. Keep up the great work! read more

I just love the staff at Snow Hill Village Publix. This is my go-to store for the more upscale and quality items I want in my home and the shopping experience is made so much the better by the team of really nice people that work there. Today, as in so many other visits it was Terri and she is just always so upbeat, has a smile for everyone and has helped me out when I have goofed up at self-checkout by screwing up produce codes and the like. Today she was working the register and as always made sure I had found everything I needed, has a ready smile at hand and the time to "connect" as a person that not all working people bother with these days. Let's just clone her and send her over to Lowes and Home Depot, where smiling and helpful customer service is in much shorter supply. This Publix suffers from supply issues that impact their fresh foods including produce and fresh meat. Their onions always look rotten and I can rarely get chicken breasts with the skin on. The few staff I chat with don't seem interested in fixing the issue. read more

Great grocery store that sells my green tomatoes to take home to mama so she make me some fried green tomatoes. Their produce and meats personally I think are better than the big box supermarket stores. You have plenty of parking and can get waited on quickly. It's in a shopping center where you can just walk to other nearby businesses. read more

This is an above average grocery store. Things are clean and orderly. The produce is usually very fresh and laid out in an easily understood manner. The staff are always helpful in locating things and offering to take your things to the car. The deli however... I encounter frustrations more often than not. My last deli experience I was ordering two different sandwiches and it we like in possible for the server to understand I didn't want them both prepared the same way. At one point I asked for the turkey sub she was working on to toasted and she asked me if I wants just the meat in the toaster. Just an example of how frustrating it can be ordering at the deli sometimes. read more

I was in the Publix on Snowhill Road on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020 to fill a perscription and purchase some groceries that were on sale. I went to the service desk for a rain check on 2 items that were sold out. The young girl at the counter told me that they were not issuing rain checks and I would have to come back and pay regular price, since Publix was not substituting anything for the sold out items. She was curt, rude and and offered to call a manager which would tell me the same thing she did. I got my perscriptions and left. I will continue to use Publix Pharmacy since I have already met my deductible for this year. However, I will no longer purchase any thing from Publix. In January, I will no longer use their Pharmacy. The store in general is not the issue because it's not bad at all. It's the bathrooms that is always dim and dirty

The Deli service has become a disappointment lately. Long waits, with the staff seemingly oblivious to the many people waiting for service. Went in this evening at 5:30 to get something for dinner and the hot bar was all but empty, save for a single sad looking chicken tender and crusted over mac and cheese. Took over 30 minutes to get a sub sandwich and a box of popcorn chicken, which I had to ask them to make. Whoever is in charge of the Deli needs to step up their game. read more

Wednesday evening was my first time ever in a Publix and subsequently my first time ever in this one. I just moved to the area and I needed to get a few things for my apartment as well as a few things for a work function the next morning. I was blown away by the friendliness of the staff and the service I received. Everyone went out of their way to help me - out from behind a counter, etc to ensure I had everything that I needed without me even asking. After I checked out, the person bagging my groceries offered to walk me to my car and load my groceries for me despite the pouring rain. I can't say enough good stuff about this place! This is the best Publix that I have been to. There are multiple Publix supermarkets around. I live near this one and work near a different one. The Publix in Ooltewah has stand out customer service in the isles and check out lines. There is a larger variety of organic foods too. This Publix is also larger and less crowded than other Publix stores. read more

I love, love, love this location. It is always clean, neat, and the employees are always helpful when needed. They always provide excellent customer service as well. I love the seafood section. It is probably my favorite part of the store. Their meat is always good. I've only had one slight issue with them in the bakery, but it was taken care of in the most appropriate way. I really enjoy going to the Publix in Ooltewah. It is pleasant and clean with a good selection of foods, items etc.. I love ordering cakes from the bakery the Chocolate Decadence or Chocolate Ganache cake is wonderful! Even the flowers and plants are wonderful. I was on my way from Florida to Sevierville Tenn and was pleased to see that there was a Publix up here. Publix is my favorite place to shop back home. I know people sometimes are eager to leave comments when they are unhappy, but I was extremely pleased! I never remember names, however an awesome employee named THERESA made me feel so comfortable it was like I've known her since I was a Teenager!! THERESA took very good care of me and left me super satisfied. I would make it a point to stop here every time on my trip, JUST to say hi to THERESA!
