I just wanted to say that the Publix bakery department is awesome! There's cookies and cakes and other different types of desserts are always fresh well presented and delicious. We ordered a birthday cake to celebrate two people, and the icing was delicious buttercream the inside of the cake was moist. It was very delicious and we're very pleased. We only buy cakes from Publix. The Publix bakery also sells ice cream cakes, which are out of this world. In my opinion, Publix is my go to store. Bravo to the bakery. read more

Publix Super Market - Happy birthday, Lewi And Alyssa - Drugstores Near Me - Spring Hill, Florida

If I could give this particular Publix a ZERO I would. Not only is this store untidy as well as poorly managed, they have stopped carrying TONS of items they had for years. I just went to pick up a package of Polly O Whole Milk Mozzarella.....was told "we haven't carried that for a year"....why? It's not some gourmet item! Pretty basic ingredient in lasagna. It seems to me that I have seen lots of items no longer carried that were there for years! Is Publix trying to artificially rid their stores of decent items that cost a little more to make their stores seem less expensive? Why do I have to travel to a Fresh Market, Whole Foods or Sprouts to get decent quality groceries? Shopping @Publix is NO longer a pleasure. And this is not the only location that has gone way down. read more

My experience was terrible. From the deli person that didn't understand simple directions & too busy chatting w/ a coworker to the seafood guy that made it clear I was too early when other Publix seafood departments open @ 9. Then there's the guy that was supposed to help me to the car (I am disabled) forget that, he refused to get wet. I'm still thanking God I made it to my car w/o slipping in the rain and then when I pulled my car up he wanted me to get out and load the bags (in the pouring rain) myself. Lastly the freezers are dirty, the tracks are dirty especially where the Publix veggies are. I'm done with this Publix. The bar has been lowered. SAD read more

The Pharmacy staff here is NOT GOOD! Poorly trained and the Pharmacist herself is rude. She refuses to get up from her chair in front of the computer to speak to a customer. She just yells. Nasty look on her face like she is being bothered. She was reusing to take prescriptions the day before the hurricane "We are closing at 5" She just yelled out to people read more

The Pharmacy staff in this store definitely needs some customer service training, come on folks "do better" There COVID booster shot setup is not setup at all. After being told walk-in shots were available and arriving to the store, then to find out oh by the way shots are not given between 2 and 3, maybe they should have conveyed this when I first called. This after traveling there with a spouse with a disability. No attempt was made to even try and accommodate us as it was 1:50 pm. I totally understand being busy but a little customer service and trying to accommodate someone with a disability goes so very far. We left and went to store #482 on County Line/Mariner, what a pleasure. They had an associate and designated area specifically for screening for booster shots as well as paperwork, and was greeted with a smile. You guys can learn a lot from this store. read more

Great place to shop after church. This is a well stocked and very clean store. The bakery and the fresh seafood counters are my favorites. The 5 grain bread in the bakery is the best there is. It just melts in your mouth. The fish is always very fresh and the counter person will help you get the right size and quantity you need. Just ask. And the ice cream is still in a 1/2 gal. package. They code the tops by color to give you a selection you want. I like a light one so I look for the silver top. It is always creamy and delicious. read more

Just moved into Spring Hill and get a coupon in the mail from Publix. It says See the other side for a great coupon offer from Your neighborhood Publix supermarket. The other side says "A housewarming gift" and shows a pie. I go to Publix. I'm told it's just a way to get me into the store. They don't do anything for you. Hmmm. This seems to me like bait & switch.. Gee thanks Publix! read more

A newer publix store in the area. Very large, clean and all staff were helpful and friendly. Very large parking lot. Large wine isle. Not my usual store but may switch to here. Overall good feeling. Normal bigots and apron meals. Larger fruit area. No fresh sushi but that's ok. read more

Live in the neighborhood and started going to this store as soon as they opened. We we so thrilled to see something new and clean. Fast forward over 10 years later they still look very new and clean! It is hard to find any grocery stores in this area that don't show their age. This one is an exception. They have great selections and if you can't find something. They will do their best to get it! Publix loves kids and def makes my experience shopping with my kid a pleasure. Hehehe see what I did there. The only thing I have seen slip over the past two years or so is the attentiveness of much of the staff. The younger staff seems to think it is alright to gather in groups talking about their exploits or standing around on their cell phones while customers are struggling to find items. There are some great ones that have been there for years! I believe the management has changed and with COVID I am sure it made staffing tough. Overall it is still the best place to shop (even if little pricier than competitors). read more

I visit Spring Hill a couple a times a year. Not the biggest of Publix' that I have been to. But for the location, this Publix is very convenient and has everything you might need - whether you are a local or visiting. The aisles were fully stocked and very well organized. On a late night visit, I didn't find the staff busy with huge piles of products blocking the aisles and sections while restocking (as I have witnessed in most grocery stores). I was even surprised to see the deli section open at the 9:30pm hour. Not a common thing for sure. The produce section was the one big disappointment. For every other section being almost spot on, there wasn't enough produce options to chose from. Things that stood out other than these: - in store made Hot and Spicy Chicken wins: outstanding - beer and wine section had much better choices and even better prices as compared to the liquor store next door - checkout staff was very courteous Overall, this store deserves an A. read more

The lady working the bakery was extremely rude, hollered across the aisle to tell us about a special when we were not even in the bakery area then got very upset when we did not hear her. How are we supposed to know you're talking to us? They do have good quality yellow dragonfruit though! The only reason I would ever go back to this location. read more

What's up with people coming into Publix without masks on!!! The clerk said they can't do anything but to let the manager know. No wonder FL is having such a problem with increased Covid numbers. Come on Publix! No wonder people are turning more to on-line shopping & going to the store where the employees bring it to your car & load! That's where I'm headed from now on! Shame on you Publix for not taking some action on those that don't heed to the notice at the front of the store. It's hard enough to get around inside with so many people just doing what they want & not paying attention to the arrows on the floor but the lack of masks is just not the right & they should be given a mask to put on or leave the store immediately! Ignorance might be bliss but staying safe is important for all of us!!! Publix, DO YOUR PART! read more

One lane open most of the time, 4-6 self check-outs with young clerks standing around watching me do all the work while they surf on their phones. No thanks. Employees are rude. I'll find a new place to shop instead of pay these high prices. read more

Rushed to Publix after a 12 hr day there site said there open till 10. Guy at the door said they close at 9. And proceeded to tell me that every Publix in there district closes at 9. Well if that's the case why don't someone do there job and change the hours on the websites. read more

Friendly, courteous staff. The pharmacy staff helped me find a blood pressure cuff I needed and tell me I can combine Publix with manufacturer's coupon to save on a vitamin purchase. Checkout lane was fast and polite. There was a computer that checks blood pressure, pulse, weight and BMI, and you can save your info for next visit and have results emailed to yourself; I had never seen that in a Publix before. All in all, a good visit. read more
