Publix was a genuinely pleasant stop for us this morning. Shelves were fully stocked, everything was right where it should be, and I had no trouble grabbing a few things to bring back to the campervan for breakfast, including bagels and cream cheese that toasted up nicely as we eased into the day. Checkout was quick and smooth, the sort of in and out moment that keeps the morning moving, and we were sent on our way with a warm thank you from the manager as we headed out, a small gesture that always lands well when the day is just getting started. Clean, very friendly and kind employees - except the girl in clown makeup at the deli, who literally rolled her eyes because I smiled at her to ask for help...then said she'd be with me in a minute as she waddled over to chat and laugh with another employee. I passed on my Boars Head order because of her. Well stocked, easy to navigate, produce looks lovely. DO NOT get your sushi here though! Not only was it dry (despite appearances that it was being freshly made), but the preparer hid the scraps that made up the ends, which were literally falling apart - a sign of poor training. I wouldn't hesitate shop here again, just pass on the deli and sushi. read more

This is just for the pharmacy feedback. They have consistently been unable to process the insurance correctly taking 30 to 45 minutes per per prescription. This happened five consecutive times. The general attitude is we can't do it. Just pay us cash. Then when you press them for 30 minutes, they finally come back and say oh we did it wrong and then they'll process it. It seems they want cash more than they actually want to take insurance. read more

Publix has been a long time go to for me and it is great to see them expanding beyond the borders of Florida. So what makes Publix so great? To start with, their customer service is unparalleled. Nobody comes close to the exceptional customer service that Publix offers. Beyond that, there are some great BOGO (buy one get one free) deals and we cannot forget about Publix subs, affectionately known as Pub Subs. Coming from New Jersey, where we have some great Subs, is a bit strange to realize that's some of the best subs in Florida come from a supermarket. Now that Publix is expanding, states like Alabama will soon find out the same thing. So as you can imagine, I strongly recommend here. read more

The store is always clean. The workers are always friendly. No long line to stand in to check out. The bagger always offers to escort us to the car and put our groceries up for me, but I always decline. I can handle it. Everything is easy to find, and if not, there's always someone nearby to ask for help. Prices on certain things are higher than in other stores, but they always have sales on other items that make up for it. They have the best produce section of any grocery store around and I even like the sushi. The spicy shrimp roll is my favorite they make. The rice is never hard. It's always fresh. Overall... it's Publix. And Publix is the Chick-Fil-A of grocery stores. read more

This booming little town really needed a nice supermarket! I shop here anytime I'm in town for business or work. Competitive prices and the best produce you'll find in the area. They have friendly and helpful employees that go out of their way to help you. It's not the least expensive place to shop, but like myself, most people don't mind paying for quality. read more

This grocery store has the freshest produce. I love to come in here and get my red leaf lettuce, fresh fruit, and other veggies in general. The deli is pretty dang awesome too. There is so much to choose from. Whether you are looking for fresh sushi, sandwich meat, cheeses, hummus, they have it. Their hot bar has always got a great selection of food and that's a tasty idea for lunch or dinner. I love getting the fresh bags of popped popcorn and taking them home. One bag will last me several days. Don't forget the BOGO deals!! This store always has tons of them and that's the time to stock up on your favorite items. The service is the best . Called four different times over the last 3 months and asked specifically for a whole rack of lamb each time I was told that they had it so I went up there only to find that they had lamb steaks they had to already pre-cut lamb chops but no whole rack of lamb finally the fourth time I called asked for the meat manager and specifically requested whole rack of lamb he said yes ma'am we have it it's $18 a pound I said great my husband got up there same old story no rack of lamb only the little lamb chop cutlets loin steak etc I called the store and asked if the meat department knew what a rack of lamb was because apparently they don't even the meat manager does not I am highly dissatisfied I will never return to Publix again read more

Please come to Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Southern Eastern grocers is working with local Roberts Co. to drastically inflate our food prices. Roberts Co. bought out a closed Winn Dixie to open YET ANOTHER overpriced Corner Market. They're price-fixing locally farmed and organic produce. Maybe doctor's wives can pay $6 for TWO sealed in package cucumbers, yellow squash, or zucchini, but nobody else can or will. WE NEED YOU. read more
