    Rotting lettuce!

Just when I thought the produce couldn't get any worse. See photo. When I pointed out the rotting lettuce to the workers in the produce section, I got a dirty look like I was the problem.

My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering.

I had never seen so many types of fresh mushrooms! Their very good looking green beans were priced at $1.99 per pound, and I purchased a couple of pounds for the upcoming holiday meal. I also bought a couple of good looking red naval oranges for $1.49 per pound. The checkout girl was friendly and polite. There's plenty of parking under the big oaks along the side and also in the front. This place surpassed my expectations in their quality, quantity, selection, and customer service. I'm giving this place 5 stars and will definitely be back. I highly recommend you check them out!

Decor definitely has a heavy religious theme to it. Staff is friendly. However, over the past two years, we've had a few instances of inaccurate charges, including a few upcharges compared with the listed rate. The first two times, one could consider simple mistakes. However, the frequency of these errors feels like a bigger systemic issue that should be addressed. While we would love to visit this market more frequently, this issue has been a significant barrier. Future shoppers are advised to keep a close eye on their receipt to make sure that the charged rate reflects what was expected.

But I love The Fresh Market and especially this one! Today they had Alaskan wild caught crab legs on sale. Now they're not usually in my budget but I decided to splurge except it was hard to get decent ones in my price range which was about a pound, pound and a half. The gentleman behind the meat counter (that was today, Friday, September 26 at about 12:30 PM) he was absolutely the best. He gave me a pound and a half breaking up a bag and taking out all the loose little bits so I didn't wind up with just shells. That was ao kind! It's clean, everyone is very friendly, it can get busy but they take it all in stride. If I could afford to do all my grocery shopping here, I would. It's always pleasant to walk into, it smells nice, the entrance is a little funky but that's just the design. People don't put their baskets up so it can block the entrance. That's not the store's fault and they do mind them often so it's not a permanent problem. I've had only one bad experience and it was in the bakery a few years ago. Everybody else has been so accommodating! I've been to their other stores in and around South Florida. They're all nice and clean but honestly, this is my favorite store hands-down. Don't come talking to me about Trader Joe's or Whole Foods, it's The Fresh Market for me!

Once inside, you will see that Aldi has a fantastic selection of food, including fresh fruits and vegetables, tasty and fresh platters, and fresh and delicious dairy products. I am not a fan of the packaging for their meats here, and I think this is because it doesn't display the contents of the packaging (the meat) very well. This is really just a small complaint though. Aldi has a wide array of non name brand products that are absolutely delicious and very affordable, and Aldi also sells some name brand products that are competitively priced. They have a small section of other items that you can purchase, such as bed sheets and dog toys, but the selection is always changing it seems, so it's more of a fun bonus exciting area of the store to shop during your visit to Aldi. The ambience at Aldi is very inviting. They have a very clean and pleasant store and their bathroom is always very clean. I believe they only have the one person bathrooms though. The service at Aldi is always fast and friendly. They don't offer free grocery bags at Aldi but you can opt to buy a reusable bag, or you can bring your own bags from home (we keep our bags in the trunk of our car) and then you can then stop off at their side counter, after you are checked out, to fill your grocery bags yourself. This system is in place to help Aldi keep their prices extremely low and competitive for their customers. I would definitely recommend shopping at Aldi!

In 1962, they introduced the name Aldi, short for Albrecht-Diskont, which translates into English as Albrecht Discount. The company split into Aldi Süd and Aldi Nord, which operate thousands of stores in Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia. Aldi Süd controls the U.S. chain of Aldi stores while Aldi Nord operates in the U.S. as Trader Joe's. ALDI opened its first U.S. store in Iowa in 1976 and now has more than 2,200 stores and is headquartered in Batavia, Illinois. While Trader Joe's has great prices, Aldi will beat them and just about everyone else's prices every time. You can still signs of that German heritage all over Aldi's like in their German line of products called Deutsche Kuche, which offers offers beer, chocolate, roasted coffee, and uncured Bavarian bratwurst. If you want to save money on groceries Aldi's is a great way to do it. In order to bring you those low prices Aldi's has instituted some cost cutting measures. If you want a cart you will need to bring a quarter and to get your money back you need to return your cart from the parking lot back to the store saving employees from having to collect the carts. You will also have to bring your own bags or pay for theirs. Sometimes I'll just grab some of their empty boxes. Lines used to be long in store because they keep their staff to a bare bones minimum but since they added self checkout I rarely wait in line anymore. I just wish that when you have a markdown you didn't an employee to enter it in for you. I had to pop in to grab a few things on a recent trip to Rockledge. This store has been open since 2010 but they were remodeled in 2019. Compared to the stores where I live in Broward County, this one still looks new. The store was spotless and stocked. Even the aisle of shame was well organized. Once you start seeing how much you can save with Aldi's, it makes it hard to shop anywhere else.
