My mother and I frequently shop at this Aldi location. First, you'll have to put a quarter in your cart to free it up so that you can use it in the store. Once inside, you will see that Aldi has a fantastic selection of food, including fresh fruits and vegetables, tasty and fresh platters, and fresh and delicious dairy products. I am not a fan of the packaging for their meats here, and I think this is because it doesn't display the contents of the packaging (the meat) very well. This is really just a small complaint though. Aldi has a wide array of non name brand products that are absolutely delicious and very affordable, and Aldi also sells some name brand products that are competitively priced. They have a small section of other items that you can purchase, such as bed sheets and dog toys, but the selection is always changing it seems, so it's more of a fun bonus exciting area of the store to shop during your visit to Aldi. The ambience at Aldi is very inviting. They have a very clean and pleasant store and their bathroom is always very clean. I believe they only have the one person bathrooms though. The service at Aldi is always fast and friendly. They don't offer free grocery bags at Aldi but you can opt to buy a reusable bag, or you can bring your own bags from home (we keep our bags in the trunk of our car) and then you can then stop off at their side counter, after you are checked out, to fill your grocery bags yourself. This system is in place to help Aldi keep their prices extremely low and competitive for their customers. I would definitely recommend shopping at Aldi! read more

In 1962, they introduced the name Aldi, short for Albrecht-Diskont, which translates into English as Albrecht Discount. The company split into Aldi Süd and Aldi Nord, which operate thousands of stores in Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia. Aldi Süd controls the U.S. chain of Aldi stores while Aldi Nord operates in the U.S. as Trader Joe's. ALDI opened its first U.S. store in Iowa in 1976 and now has more than 2,200 stores and is headquartered in Batavia, Illinois. While Trader Joe's has great prices, Aldi will beat them and just about everyone else's prices every time. You can still signs of that German heritage all over Aldi's like in their German line of products called Deutsche Kuche, which offers offers beer, chocolate, roasted coffee, and uncured Bavarian bratwurst. If you want to save money on groceries Aldi's is a great way to do it. In order to bring you those low prices Aldi's has instituted some cost cutting measures. If you want a cart you will need to bring a quarter and to get your money back you need to return your cart from the parking lot back to the store saving employees from having to collect the carts. You will also have to bring your own bags or pay for theirs. Sometimes I'll just grab some of their empty boxes. Lines used to be long in store because they keep their staff to a bare bones minimum but since they added self checkout I rarely wait in line anymore. I just wish that when you have a markdown you didn't an employee to enter it in for you. I had to pop in to grab a few things on a recent trip to Rockledge. This store has been open since 2010 but they were remodeled in 2019. Compared to the stores where I live in Broward County, this one still looks new. The store was spotless and stocked. Even the aisle of shame was well organized. Once you start seeing how much you can save with Aldi's, it makes it hard to shop anywhere else. read more

They have some good prices here. It's almost like a Sam's or BJ's without having to buy the big bulky stuff. But on this visit, I initially came here to get a loaf of Monkey and Apple Crisp bread to make homemade French toast. "YES, I do cook more than I go out....I think...." Very nice store, convenient location, friendly staff. First time I have been to this location. It is in a fairly new shopping center with lots of parking. As with any Aldi bring a quarter if you want to use a shopping cart and bring your own bags or be prepared to pay for some to put your purchased items in. Aldi has many food items and really good prices and other items beside groceries. I had purchased a storage container on a previous visit at another Aldi and wanted to buy another one in a different color that this store confirmed that they had. The store was clean and the aisles were wider than other Aldi I have visited. Very nice. The staff was very friendly. Although they did only have 1 checkout aisle open when I first walked up they opened a second one to accommodate the extra people checking out. read more

The newly opened store on Barns is a major disappointment. We have shopped their for years but since the store reopened after renovations it's dirty. Meat shelves are filthy and have not been cleaned in a while. Freezer items are covered in ice. Overall it is no longer a pleasant shopping experience. read more

I was excited to see a new grocery option in Rockledge since Winn-Dixie closed. Aldi has saved us a ton of money on staple items. Store is always clean, but you may have to wait for a cashier to show up at the register, as they are always stocking and/or cleaning. My only complaint is whoever came up with the idea of putting tile floor in a grocery store is a moron. It is noisy as hell pushing a card through here. read more

I really like this place and the concept of no frills shopping . Sometimes the check out lines are long , but I've been other places and had to wait longer and paid more . They do have a limited number of items, but the things you can use are normally available, bread, milk , veggies etc. Very good prices on meats and frozen essentials . The folks that work there are as friendly as their time allows. Sometimes I feel they are being rushed because they do everything , from unloading, stocking and check out . The food selection as far as brands go is a 2, but if you are going to Aldi's you are going for quality non-namebrand items. The chain is European based. You need a quarter to get a cart (you get it back when you return it). You also need to bring you own bags, buy them, or grab a box while you are in the store. This place is a great value for the money. Milk is only ~$2.20 a gallon and is from a local dairy that does not use antibiotics and excessive hormones on their cattle. Aldi's, a discount grocery store, has a basic selection of decent food items for really good prices. The chain has recently expanded to include wine and beer at some locations including this friendly store. Aldi's isn't anything fancy but good for those wanting to get the most for their buck. My 2 year old niece apparently knows the store well because when we drove into the parking lot, she started asking for cookies. A very good selection of organic fruits, vegetables and even meats and their prices are nearly always less than their competitors "sale" prices. They typically are even lower in price than I can find at Amazon or anywhere else online. Sure the prices are great, if they have what you're looking for. Good luck trying to get the same items you bought the week before. You never now what they will have in stock.
