The staff experience can be hit or miss. Some visits, employees are readily available, friendly, and eager to help. Other times, it can be difficult to find someone when you need assistance. I typically only stop at this location when visiting family in the area, and for last-minute grocery needs, it serves its purpose well. However, even many people I know who live nearby tend to choose other Publix locations when they have the option. My grocery shopping is split between this Publix and the Sunrise Blvd store. The fondue cheese cups are my sneaky quick meals with French bread and have gone up in price to $7.45 each and are sometime unavailable at the Sunrise Publix and have to drive a little further to this Publix that usually has them in stock. Always clean with friendly bakery employees. Easy close parking. read more

A very clean Publix and friendly helpful staff. Very large parking lot. This location has fresh vibrant fruit and vegetables. The seafood section is easy to view the items. Everything in the beer section is faced and decently priced. I love the scent of the bakery area where fresh bread and cakes are plentyful. Full bakery here with real bakers. The customer service area is helpful when buying lottery tickets and scratchoffs. This location seems to be run well by strong managenent. read more

My local Publix so it's an automatic favorite. No sushi sold here (FYI). Pharmacy available. Lots of parking. All the workers are courteous and kind. Opens early at 7AM so really great for me coming home in the morning from work. Open late to 11PM. Newly remodeled seating area by customer service in the front for eating your PubSub - Publix sandwich. read more

Sad to say I was disappointed in the sub I bought today from Publix. I ordered a whole veggie sub online ( yellow mustard, hummus (+$1), lettuce, pickles, onions, salt and pepper). I could not taste any hummus and not just because there was barely any on the sub but because on just one half alone it had 10 pickles (I counted) more than a handful of onions, little to no lettuce and more mustard than anyone would ever want. This was basically an onion and pickle sub and that is not what I ordered. It's not even the fact that I lost my money, it's that there is nothing worse than being excited for food and being let down. read more

This is by far the most friendliest Publix I've ever shopped at. And the good news is that it's right by my house so I see the employees all the time. I've never had problems and always had a good experience. Even the youngest employees are very well mannered, smile back and always offer to help. Management is doing an amazing job recruiting. This Publix ain't what it used to be. Out of a lot of things. Limited choices in certain departments. How do I know? I've been shopping here for two decades at least. Try the Publix on Flamingo, just west of St Rd 84. There you will see a significantly better store. I do however love the Pharmacy people here. Very conscientious and nice. read more

This is my secondary Publix to go to in the area. Not at all upset at my backup being another 5 star Publix. Friendly staff, great deals. Better selection at this bakery sometimes and the bakery department itself has the greatest staff, especially the department managers. They make you feel welcome and always happily satisfy you sweet tooth cravings. The Deli is okay but not as good as my go to store. read more

Don't go to this Publix for lunch. They never have enough people and it takes forever to get a sub or hot food. And they are extremely slow. When there is a long line, they have 5 or 6 people in the back that are unwilling to jump in and help. Avoid at all costs if you are on a strict lunch schedule for work. read more

This is a horrible store. Horrible customer service. I have been in a pretty bad financial position for quite some time now unfortunately. Poor dad is handling 2 mortgages right now. I'm not working neither is another member of the family. This is the closest Publix to me. It never fails every time I go horrible service. Last night was the icing on the cake. I hadn't eaten for the day & went in search for my dinner. When I got to the register I was some change short. The guy at customer service didn't even count the coins I brought in and then stated perhaps you may want to take something else off. 1 potato oat 90 cents. I have gone to Sedanos and gotten 3 lbs for anywhere from 69 cents to $1.50. There prices are outrageous. Since the guy didn't even count the change and then told another young man that had every intention to help me she's short more than 10 cents I finally snapped and said to him Do Your Job. You don't get paid to badger the customer. That's all that I said and then he had the nerve to say I don't appreciate that. As if talking back to the customer is ok. Then stupid kid asked me to leave the store and he doesn't have the authority to do that. I spoke with the manager and explained also that once I said that he stopped and stared at me and almost didn't ring me up. He just stood there defiant as rude as can be. The mgr. justified that by saying he was surprised at what I had said. I said to her I am the customer. Even when the customer is wrong they are right. They are the reason they have a job. That's the part people don't seem to get. Their reaction made me loose my appetite and request a refund. Once the mgr. did refund me she had the nerve to say that by giving the refund a few cents went in my favor. I also spoke with the Corp office that had the nerve to say they have the best prices. I'm like of really. He totally blowed me off and stated this store runs smoothly and totally disregarded my concern. In regards to the stupid kid he said he will receive coaching. For a whole lot less than that I lost my job. Think twice before going to this Publix. Very rude staff and very high prices. Employees have even told me they can't afford to buy there. The employees are helpful, the store is clean and organized, and the service is very quick. When asked for assistance, the employees will usually stop what they are doing and take you to where you need to go to find your item. Though this Publix is not supersized as some other stores, its size allows many items to be found more easily, especially after just a few visits of getting acquainted with the store. The store has just about everything to be expected of a supermarket. The fried chicken at the deli is especially tasty, as are the doughnuts at the bakery. This is the best Publix within a 15-mile radius. read more

Publix is my favorite grocery store. The service is excellent you can tell they either pay the employees well...or have some sort of great benefits. It shows. The perks include the deli, you can even order online to pick it up. Also, they are open pretty late, and have everything you need. The layout is perfect and clean. The one in Weston is under construction so when that opens it will be nice to have 2 locations to choose from. I bet the new one will be oso fancy. read more

Great customer service at this publix! There's always the nicest people shopping at this one for some reason. Must be a great area. A gentlemen let me go first in line though he beat me to the register just because I had a few less items than him...so sweet! Then, a rare thing happened, two big ticket items rang up with the wrong prices at the register. They price checked those specific items for me, and then proceeded to give me those items for free upon their error because of their publix promise. Awesome! Saved myself $10 right there! And not to mention the publix subs are always on point. These in particular are very good. They've got an extremely pleasant deli staff who are always willing to help you out in whatever way you need. And when it comes to BOGOS they always have an extremely varied selection of items to choose from. Usually whatever is on my grocery list I can find a Buy One Get One Free of that item or at least close to that item. I typically end up saving half of my bill.
