Publix has created a pleasant shopping experience with a nice ambiance and fantastic customer service. No review of Publix would be complete without mentioning their subs, affectionately known as "Pub Subs." My go-to sub here is their Italian or roast beef. I would definitely recommend either of these fantastic subs (or "Pub Subs"). I would definitely recommend this particular Publix supermarket.

I'm happy to have a Publix so convenient to my home, however, we really need another one! I pretty sure this is the busiest Publix on the planet. It is always crowded! Check out lines are long. Parking is a nightmare and the store just cannot keep up. It would seem there are other Publix in the area, but if you've sat in traffic on 27 or 17 you know that even if the next Publix is only 5-6 miles away it is easily a 20+ minute drive to the next one. Seriously, Reunion, Champions Gate, Bella Citta, or Haines City are all going to take you 20 min or more. This is why this one is just so overwhelmed and not a pleasure to shop at anymore.

1/5 STARS -- PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING…read more I've been to MANY Mexican/Spanish restaurants in my life, and unfortunately, this place deserves 1 star from me. This review is based on my experience on August 9, 2026, so this is one of the most recent reviews you can find. The food was okay. I would honestly give it about a 3/10. Some things had little to no flavor, and some of the food tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. The fried plantains were especially soggy. Overall, the food was missing seasoning and freshness. But the BIGGEST problem was the communication and the employee serving us. My family of 5 went because we wanted a nice Spanish/Mexican place to eat. We saw all the positive reviews, so we decided to try it. The problem started when we were ordering. WE WERE NEVER TOLD THAT WE COULD ONLY CHOOSE ONE SINGULAR TYPE OF MEAT, ONE SINGULAR TYPE OF RICE, AND ONE SINGULAR TYPE OF SALAD. Nobody explained that choosing a little bit of another meat would automatically be considered an entire extra serving. We chose ribs and chicken, and we also wanted to try another meat. And when I say TRY, I mean TRY. We did NOT want a full serving. We didn't even want an actual piece of the meat. WE ONLY WANTED TO TASTE THE JUICE FROM THE MEAT. That's it. And we were still charged the FULL $4 PRICE for "extra meat." If I'm paying the FULL PRICE for the meat, then just give me the chicken! The frustrating part is that nobody told us beforehand that even wanting a small taste of another meat would cost an additional $4. If the employee had simply said, "You can only choose one type of meat, and anything else is an additional $4," we would have understood and made our decision. Instead, we were told nothing and were charged afterward. When we tried to explain ourselves, the employee was not very understanding. She came across as rude and dismissive, and instead of simply explaining the policy to us, it felt like we were being blamed for not understanding something that was never communicated to us in the first place. A little communication and kindness would have gone a LONG way. We also ordered lemonade, which my family ALWAYS gets. One lemonade was $6, which is honestly ridiculous to me. Our total for 5 people was around $110. On top of that, there was an automatic 15% gratuity/service charge. I understand restaurants have policies, but PLEASE communicate these charges and rules clearly BEFORE customers order. This isn't just about the $4. It's about the fact that we were never told the rules, we were charged for something we didn't understand was considered "extra," and then we were treated poorly when we tried to ask about it. Unfortunately, this restaurant has lost my family as customers. We will not be coming back. The food was okay, but for the price, the service, and especially the lack of communication, it was NOT worth it. Overall: 1/5 If you're reading reviews before deciding whether to come here, I hope this helps. This is my honest experience from August 9, 2026.

I am sure this is going to trigger someone, but I feel like someone has to defend Aldi. Some of…read morethese reviews are just well, quite special. To start for those people who obviously have never shopped at an Aldi, there aren't many name brands. But I can attest to the quality of their offerings, especially produce. And at times like these when prices are already high, Aldi does a good job of making those things you need like fruits, vegetable, eggs, meat and bread more affordable. To those people who got trauma from going to the supermarket, if you can afford it, maybe you should use one of those shopping apps. And this is not being insensitive, just giving options. I have never heard of anxiety of any kind from a supermarket visit, unless it has to do with the price you pay at checkout. But there is a first time for everything and I am grateful to have shared in your experience from your review and your perspective. As far as Aldi goes. I have never once had a bad experience. I have always been treated with dignity and respect, even the odd times when I have been there right before they close. The associates have always been helpful and there have been times when they have actually walked me to an item when I was unable to find it. I like this Aldi especially well because of the layout and the diverse offerings. So there is that. And if I have offended anyone by my comments, these are just my opinions based on my limited experience in this world. And if you are taking them that serious, then you are giving my words way more power than they deserve. Finally, Aldi is a great alternative in Florida to some of those more expensive chains. Especially in times like these when the dollar is just not going as far as it did just two years ago.

The level of detail and patience from the staff was amazing. We created a vision together and I was sure it was going to be executed well. Next, we picked up the cake. It wasn't at all what we were expecting. It was a regular, uninspiring cake with not so great execution. We weren't thrilled with the final design, but we didn't have a choice. We were stuck with it. Then it came time to sing and cut the cake. This is when BJs did their thing. The cake was so moist and delicious. We got so many compliments on how great the cake tasted. People loved the half chocolate, half vanilla option and the icing was perfectly balanced for sweetness. I would 100% order a birthday cake from them again, but I would just go with a traditional cake without the custom design expectation. I would argue, it was better AND MUCH CHEAPER than Publix.

Super disappointed--I honestly don't even know how to start this review…read more This location is one I visit regularly, probably twice a month, which makes this experience even more frustrating. Today, we had two separate purchases totaling $104.64 and $93.70. There was a promotion offering $0.25 off per gallon of gas with purchases over $100. After fueling up, I noticed I didn't receive the discount, so I went to customer service for assistance. At first, the representative was helpful, but then she explained that the $100 minimum had to be reached before tax. She suggested I purchase an additional $2 worth of merchandise to qualify. My response was simple: had I known that, I would have combined the purchases from the start. There was no fine print visible stating the requirement was based on the pre-tax total. What made the situation disappointing wasn't the $2.23 discount itself--it was the unwillingness to find a simple solution. We're talking about a promotional credit worth just a couple of dollars after spending nearly $200 in the store. Sometimes customer service is about doing what it takes to make a loyal customer feel valued. Unfortunately, the interaction only got worse. The manager didn't seem interested in helping, and the overall attitude felt more like I was causing a problem than asking for assistance. At one point, I even asked the representative why this seemed to bother her so much. She replied that she wasn't being rude, and while she may not have been verbally rude, her expressions and attitude certainly made it feel that way. A quick reminder to anyone working in customer service: treating customers with respect, patience, and kindness--even when a situation requires a little extra effort--speaks volumes about your professionalism and character. For a moment, I felt like I shouldn't have even asked for my $2.23, and that's not how a loyal customer should feel. This wasn't about the money. It was about customer satisfaction, and unfortunately, that was completely missing today. What makes this even more disappointing is that if this had happened at a restaurant, I simply would have never returned. In fact, I've stopped going back to places before even when the food was good because customer service matters that much to me. Unfortunately, in this case, I don't really have another option and will likely continue bringing my business here. That said, it doesn't change the fact that today's experience left me feeling unappreciated as a loyal customer. Businesses should never take repeat customers for granted, especially over something that could have been resolved so easily.
