Public Storage on Mariner in Spring Hill, FL is overly aggressive in their collection and auction efforts. If it was possible to give a zero rating on this location, I would. I have been faced with a hardship over the last 2 years and have a small balance with them like $275. They refuse to let me clean out my space so that they can re-rent it and they are going to auction off my stuff. I realize that this is in the agreement, but they could do better for a long standing customer. I will never do business with public storage again. What a bunch of bottom feeders. read more

I must say I'm very pleased with this facility. The staff, both named Haley are accommodating in every way possible to your needs. Friendly, communicative, and pleasant as well to do business with. The facility is very clean, well secured where I feel my things aren't in any jeopardy from outsiders. They also phoned and emailed me when I inadvertently hadn't locked my unit properly, I was so happy they were on the ball checking after hours! Kudos to the staff and this Public Storage facility. I have used this location and Storage facility, this will be my second time. I am very satisfied with the property and storage unit, and pricing, it well works within my budget for moving, and has security in place for the storage units, and the sizes of units and pricing is comparable. If i was to give any CON or negative, is it can be a pain in the ass to get in and out, as its close to the light at Northcliffe and Mariner, and Mariner itself is a nightmare with crazy speedy drivers, and quite congested! So other than that, i'd totally recommend, very helpful, and knowledgeable staff, clean property and storage units fair pricing on units! read more

Buyer Beware!!! Went in on June 10th at the end of the day and in person. Was given a rate I liked and could afford. Incidentally cheaper than the online rate which is advertised as cheapest way to book. Took a 7 day reservation so I could manage other urgent business and find a mover. Had to reserve a unit smaller than my needs to get climate control. Haley was really sweet and accommodating in the tour but kept trying to get me interested in a similar unit w/o AC. I told them I needed a mover. and would come back as soon as I did. On June 12th they rented my unit to someone else. I found out the next day at 1:30 (shortly after securing a mover) when I called to make further arrangements. Went again in person. Same agent was apologetic but said now that it is first come first serve and she only had the unit W/O A/C ...the one she kept trying to sell me on the initial visit. Also, said they overbook similar to airlines. LOL So I asked for the next unit in my size and A/C at the rate promised as well as compensation. True, the property looks clean. True Haley is sweet but I would not say I received excellent customer service or any kind of over and above efforts. In fact on June 10th she showed me a page indicating reservations, for the initial unit size I wanted, that she couldn't rent to me because they were reserved. BUYER BEWARE! they dont tell you a lot. A reservation is not honest. I will amend this review when they correct their mistake and make it right. Then I will write another review when/IF I rent and I have a good experience. I dont really enjoy giving businesses bad reviews..... Please note: no other review on this site is recent. The most recent review is over a year old. Go off of Yelp and read some reviews of this company, they all describe nightmares. Called Public Storage Customer service with no luck... Left a message with an Executive Office number and haven't heard back. I mean it ---BUYER BEWARE! Again I will correct this review if they make their "promise" right. read more

Would never recommend, staff is rude!! I was lied to twice regarding my storage unit as well as the policies for Public Storage, luckily the District Manager contacted me to advise I was misinformed about my unit as well as the notice that needs to be given to vacate my storage unit. My advice to Haley is you get more bees with honey than vinegar......brushen up on your customer service skills. read more

This Public Storage is the BEST! Haley is the best! We were here for almost a year. Always safe always clean and never had a problem at all and climate control was great. She made moving in and moving out easy. She was always there to answer questions and help with anything needed. I have used storages for many years due to my business and this was my best experience ever. We would recommend to everyone. Hours to get in and out are great as well. The facility is clean and well maintained. The property manager, Jeremy, explained the renting process clearly and thoroughly helping me to make the best decision for my storage needs. We toured available units in the climate controlled area and he helped me to reserve the appropriate unit. By visiting the facility, I was able to reserve a larger unit for a lower rate than originally viewed online. Both Jeremy and Haley made this decision process less stressful and more economical.
