She called me sweetie and within 2 minutes felt like it was her job to give me her "shpeal" as she put it about bring my CT scan and that I needed to do that and not always does their system work or can they log into Wellstar. I was trying to explain to her that it was an old CT scan and then she stated "Well then we don't need that and it doesn't matter" after cracking her knuckles and berating me. She was snappy and rude. My husband even was shocked at how she was speaking to me. I told her I would speak to my Dr about these matters at which time she just looked at me like I was being rude. She didn't realize at all that I have been in the medical field for 30 plus years and would never speak to a patient this way. She continued to talk to me like she was my Dr! at which time I again said, I will speak to my Dr about these things. Then she kind of laughed and walked out of the room with a huff. I did mention this to my very wonderful Dr. who was very professional and listened. I will stay a patient. Even when checking me out the MA came in, rolled her tongue over her teeth, cracked her neck with a head roll, and proceeded to ask me (thank God) yes or no questions about getting an MRI. Thank God I'm very well versed in all of this procedure so it was short. She really needs a class on speaking to patients that are in pain and new to the facility. And, she is NOT a Dr. she has no right to be acting this way at all as a medical assistant

As my daughter has been taking therapy for her back, with overall improvement, and has nothing but praise for the therapists at Mars Hill PT Solutions, I asked my family physician for a reference. I have been receiving PT for about six weeks. Thus far, my therapy has only involved my neck, shoulders and arms. I know that I have additional strength in each area. I am experiencing less pain from elbow tendonitis. Over the years, I have had PT at many locations. Some locations were of little value to me. UPDATE: I never thought I had a serious candida overgrowth but a small question to Dr. Jim got me…read moreto investigating. The tongue can tell a lot about what might be going on with someone. I read that the overgrowth can go systemic, into the bloodstream and into organs. I never mentioned in my original post that I had recently had a horrible sore throat that seemed to go into my esophagus - never had anything like this before - and it wasn't going completely away. Trouble swallowing. Medical doctor did bloodwork and I was negative for Covid antibodies. I am convinced that the patch in my lung is from the candida, which can cause pneumonia. In addition I do not want to take anti-fungal drugs so I am following a strict protocol of attempting to eliminate the overgrowth. Dr. Jim told me the foods I was allowed to eat and that it could take a number of weeks to get my body back to where it should be. So I am sticking this out because he said: "If you think what you have now is bad, it's only going to get worse if you don't stop it." In addition, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Jim Di Blasi. After my initial visit, I noticed that the therapist, during subsequent services spent a total of 5 - 10 minutes of hands on treatment and the rest of the time was spent on exercising. I stopped going mid stream because, they were literally draining my insurance for things I could do at home. Four treatments totaled over one thousand dollars. What did I receive from this, I am not sure. But I am thankful that I had common sense to halt treatment. Clearly, this is a volume business.
