I personally discovered that when both myself, and my wife found ourselves in the position of selecting and having questions concerning any of the pieces, the experience became far less burdensome having on hand a professional such as Dave, to provide not only the necessary backround information concerning the piece, but also instruct us with suggestions as to how to frame and exhibit the art within our own homes. To have someone with such experience available to both of us while perusing the various masterpieces made our task easily stress free and joyfull, as well as educational during all of our explorations. This is now my go to place for any art acquisitions.

Farming is brutally hard work -- and unless you love your work -- the results will underwhelm…read more Here at Anvil Farms, the farmer and his wife are the real deal - love what they do -- devoting 100% of their energies to growing some beautiful flowers and flavorful veggies for the past 30+ years. The manicured grounds are off the beaten path -- down the road from Bamber Lake. You almost have to know they are tucked away off the main road to find them. I visited while on a bike ride in the area -- going slow enough I guess to spot the modest signage on the highway. At 50mph I would have missed it. In about a month the first greens of the season (escarole and romaine) will be on sale -- followed by all the usual south Jersey suspects -- like garlic and tomatoes and eggplant and potatoes. The farm also carries local apples and other fruit in season -- grown elsewhere. Don't miss this real deal. The farmer will show you around and happily explain how he runs his operation -- from fertilizer -- to seed -- to harvest. I cannot get enough of real Americana. Nice to accidentally find examples of the micro industry that first built this country -- like Anvil Farms -- and admire tradition. Makes my day.

My first experience at the Borgata Event Center was to see the Disco Biscuits on July 4th, 2026…read more It will not be my last! The venue is located in the Borgata, which is a pretty classy affair. I parked in their garage which is only 10$, however you can visit the casino and get a reward card which allows you free parking. After exiting the garage you follow signage to the event center. You'll pass numerous shops and walk past the casino floor. You can ask any of the staff, everyone I interacted with was helpful and friendly. You are stamped for reentry which allows you to exit the venue and hit the rest rooms and smoking areas. I suspect you could get out to your car if you wanted to but did not try. The bathrooms were in great shape and had an attendant who was constantly cleaning and keeping the place sparkly clean. Not at all what I'm used to at a concert venue, it was a welcome change and much appreciated. The bar/concessions area had a few beverage options and some candy available. You could probably go downstairs and get something more filling but I didn't venture there on this trip. The stage is nice and the sound sweet. They cordon off the area with a huge floor to ceiling curtain for less attended shows, which makes it more intimate than sitting in a huge empty space. Great light show in a comfortable setting, the AC was chilling and a good time was had by all! Will definitely keep this place in my radar for future shows!
