This place saved my life,that is all there is to it. I spent 2 months there and we had different classes or sessions if you will on different issues most people that go there have. Each one of those session was lead by the wonderful staff at Psycamore. I love them all dearly and know that if i ever need them again all i have to do is go visit. When you first walk in you are meet by a wonderful and cherry lady, she makes it a point to learn your name and speak with you a minute before you head back. I cant say enough good things about this place. Doctor M is a wonderful doctor and helped me straighten out my medications. He has a funny sense of humor that makes you feel comfortable, when you are going to a rough time. Now with all that said the staff will push you to be open and honest with them.They come to know the person you are and can tell when you need a little more comfort and or pushing.They also help people dig deep and get things out in the open to be processed and worked through. One thing to keep in mind the staff are there to help you not hurt you. The things they say or do are tools used to help not hinder. Finally i would recommend Psycamore to the person that is lost in life and has hit rock bottom. read more

If I could give them no stars, I would. This is nothing but a rip off. I went to them in 2014 when I was having trouble after the death of my husband. My issues were NEVER addressed. Once a week we DOODLED and then critiqued each other's doodles. Once a week, a therapist would bring in children's musical instruments and we would bang on toy drums and tambourines. Once a week we had "art therapy", which reminded me of finger painting in summer camp. And the biggest joke of all was the 10 minutes per week actually spent with the psychiatrist. His sole purpose with me was to push Lexapro. No discussion of issues, no coping skills... just, take Lexapro. Every time he spoke with me for those 10 minutes, he charged my insurance company $600! In total, Psycamore charged my insurance company over $19,000 for 6 weeks of "therapy". My portion, after insurance was over $2100!!! For nothing. I'm still paying after 2 years! I got more therapy from my friends and my dogs. read more

Our daughter went through this program for mood swings, anger and ADD. She was treated compassionately by staff and like their own child. The staff was experienced, knowledgeable and well trained and the psychiatrist well versed with medications. The group sessions were extremely helpful because of peer interactions and input. Her individual therapist spent lot of time with fer and us to improve our interactions and relationships. The billing and front office was prompt and courteous in handling our questions and concerns. After two months of therapy, we got our daughter back and no more temper tantrums! She was in individual therapy and received inpatient treatment prior to Psycamore but did not improve and was only traumatized by inpatient treatment.
