Nobody will answer the phone. I've been trying to call for two weeks and never got an answer. I had no idea how to even write because the recording cuts off halfway through tell you the address. This jail needs a complete reorganization from top to bottom and apparently more personnel if they can't answer any of their phones.. I finally had to call the clerk of the court to get some inside direct numbers and got a person to answer in records to find out if my son was even in this jail because on the website it said the jail was closed! Really, closed? I read that there's over 3000 people in the jail and it's and they're sleeping on the floor because the system is too slow in processing and you need more judges to hear the cases. The only way that a person can get medical attention is if you write to them I was told to find out if they need it! Then you report it to them can you imagine how asinine that is. I'm speaking as a doctor and very concerned about this policy. This gel is responsible to be sure people are not in jeopardy of dying because they can't get any attention that they need medically. The prisoners now also get tablets so they don't have any real visitation which I find to be inhumane. Visitation is done via video and letters are put on the tablet and they can read their tablet. I read the jail is extremely overcrowded so apparently they need to improve their organization and the judges need to hear more cases in a quick fashion instead of making the inmates wait for months in the jail when they may not even be guilty!

May God bless you and continue to do good work my friend safe.

Blink and you'll miss it…read more Hugging the west coast of Florida at St. Joseph Sound 4 miles north of Dunedin and about 1 mile south of Palm Harbor is a hidden Pinellas County gem. Folks traveling along ALT 19 pay no attention while they're caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily automobile traffic. If people slow down a bit, and hit the Pinellas trail, the old rail line bulges west just north of Curlew and harkens back to a more simple time. The first home built here was in 1875, and as more folks settled in Florida during the golden citrus years, this village saw sleepy prosperity with its orange groves and fishing wharfs buzzing with activity. Tampa Road, which originated here, was the first paved road leading into Tampa, directly connecting the big city with Oldsmar, Dundein, Palm Harbor and Ozona. Things are obviously much different now. The village is quiet, laid back and the vibe is a kin to Cedar Key on a Monday night. They've got their own post office, a BBQ joint, pizzeria, pub and plenty of coastal property to catch a sunset. To me, this place is far removed from traffic, tourism, unexploited, raw and uncut--pure Florida. I absolutely love it. Oh, and all streets are golf cart friendly.

First visit & every visit, I love this small town & that it's aspiration is to remain as it is, lovely & unspoiled. For a very small area, they have multiple small & unique eateries. Maybe not all 5 star dining, but damn good cracker food. When you visit make sure you check out the local shops, restaurants & bars, you won't be disappointed. What's a girl to do?
