I was inititally via whatsapp quoted a price of $120 for a prenuptual agreement plus additional cost for the notory. Now I realize they had to re write the prenup but the final price was over $800!! In the Philippines that is the equivalent of about $5,000 [2] They screwed up the prenup many times as my fiance Jolma, had to resign the prenup multiple times. As a result of their screw ups my fiance was forced to have to be in their office for 6 hours. [3] Their communication is absolutely horrible. [4] They completely forget to include a page in the agreement for me to sign and notoraize - I have to make and print that myself. The owner Fredrick Deborja who is not a US lawyer and located in San Diego, California assigned my case to a new young graduate Filipino local lawyer who always forget to bring documents to court from which he has to reschedule the hearing and have to pay another 10,000 pesos for the court appearance fee. The results is very awful! I had to hire another local lawyer 8x cheaper and the court appearance fee is only 3,000 pesos and made positive results. I would stay away from this lawfirm! They ripped me off and put my name in fake 5 star review!

It is true that their fees are on the high side , but if it involves your life and your future, you should be willing to pay the price. As it was explained to me from the very beginning of the process, there would be delays because of the volume of cases handled by Philippine courts. But I was assured that the firm has a policy of expediting the cases. The firm also did not charge me any fees when the firm itself cancelled the hearing or when the cancellation was due to the fault of any staff or lawyer. There were hearings which were cancelled because of the absence of the judge or the prosecutor and the lawyer was not informed beforehand. But that is understandable because the lawyer already went to the hearing and devoted time and effort to prepare. When I was shopping around for a lawyer, I also found the prices of local lawyers to be much lower but I chose to proceed with the De Borja Law office even if it is located in Manila because of their experience and expertise in Family Law cases.

I have been staying in the Hotel Royal Amsterdam's senior deluxe plus room (№ 311) for more than 8…read moremonths at the rate of 68500 PHP per 30 days. Two days ago, I paid for the last extension of my stay for 9 remaining days, until August 31, 2024. I previously (during the first week of August) decided to cancel my extension after the 22nd of August because I was alerted about the likelihood of having to temporarily relocate to another room. However, I was offered to extend my stay in room 311 until August 31 by a hotel worker whose name resembles the name Dina. This person assured me several times that if I extended my stay (in the same room) for an additional 9 days, I wouldn't have to change rooms. Also, for the last 2 weeks, every time I passed the front desk, I was reminded that I needed to pay for those nine days as soon as possible. It is remarkable that just 2 days later the same people started pestering me with the demands to move out of the room I have been staying for so long because of some construction project they didn't know about when they took my money. The hotel's guest is not expected to be concerned with the management's project; he is supposed to be concerned with his own convenience and packing stuff to move to another room, unpacking them there and then packing them again in a few days to fly from the Philippines is definitely a major inconvenience. The management didn't make any effort to make up for the inconvenience it caused to the hotel's guest and seems to be unconcerned that the reputation of the Hotel Royal Amsterdam (and by extension Queen Hotel Angeles City) will suffer from the publicity surrounding this incident, or from me pursuing any other avenues to respond to having been offered this " offer I can't refuse " to paraphrase the manager's final remarks. The manager acknowledged that his failure to inform his reception staff in advance about sending construction workers to the third floor was his fault.
