I had a positive experience at this testing center. Staff members were friendly and efficient. There is good lighting in the testing space, and there are both earplugs and noise cancelling ear muffs at each station. The only negative was that there was water dripping from the ceiling into trash cans, which made an annoying repetitive noise. Of course, the testing center staff had no control over that issue. The combination of the earplugs and ear muffs was essential and, fortunately, worked extremely well. As others have mentioned, there is plenty of free parking and PSI has free lockers for your belongings. read more

I was schedule for my AWS exam with their remote online exam and the proctor was not able to see my camera. They called me and verified that the problem was not on my end. They created a voucher later and asked me to reschedule the exam. I did the same and they again tried to take the exam. Now again the same issue happens. The technical staff don't know how to fix it they keep doing the same thing in circles. They created a mock exam too and testes if everything is working and it did and it didn't work in the actual exam. Stay away from them they don't seem to know what they are doing. read more

Terrible. The testing center was loud making it hard to focus. Then after failing my exam, the proctor walked through the hallway holding the results shaking her head. It's already embarrassing enough failing a test, let alone having some lady shake her head in front of you and others while delivering you your results. Extremely unprofessional. This test was taken in an H&R Block which was also impossible to find because they never said anything about it being inside an H&R Block. When trying to reschedule my exam they put me on hold for 15 minutes only to have the call drop. I then had to call back a second time to be put on hold for another 30 minutes while they verified my information eventually giving me a date 3 months down the road. I took my class for the real estate license in March and will be taking my test in December. Ridiculous. read more

I recently gave one exam in this center. Once the exam started there was some noise . Initially i thought it was wind outside the windows, later realized it was the fountain in the lobby which is few steps from the test room. The fountain water runs making some noise which is usually ok , but when you trying to focus in test it would be annoying . People might be ok with this sound (may not be a big deal), but I will not waste money in giving another try. Parking was ample . read more

I had to take three required investment exams and two were administered at a Prometric Center in San Jose. My last exam was scheduled at PSI near Candlestick Park. I was expecting the same standard that one would expect at a proctored testing center, professional, clean and comfortable while testing. Pros: Close to freeway, ample parking. Cons: Unprofessional staff, one female was plain rude and barked at me to stand outside the door, her two coworkers looked unprofessional and were dressed like a disheveled version of the Brawny paper towel guy, unshaven and easily could apply for the Un-Hunky version of Jesus in Dolores Park. The floor was filthy in the lobby, probably since the rude girl dumped her large iced coffee on the floor in front of her desk. While taking the test, the room was heating up like a sauna and perfect for me to fall asleep. Overall, this place is unprofessional. read more

This best most extravagant testing facility I have ever been too there is a TCA that works there named Joseph and he's the best. Supper helpful and respectful. All the TCA's are great and friendly, but he really tries to go above and beyond. I've been to this testing center twice and I've had a pleasant experience each time. There's a large parking lot with plenty of parking spaces. Once, I was there thirty minutes early and they were nice enough to allow me to take the exam early. They make you take off your jacket and place all your belongings (keys, phone, etc) in a file folder. All staff I've encountered were friendly and helpful. They take your money for an exam, then when they cancel it, you cannot get through to reschedule. Tried for 3 weeks straight to get through. The message says they will call back in 24 hours. Don't hold your breath! Must be nice to be the only game in town!! read more

I understand there's a pandemic going on. But I called the Friday before the test to confirm they were open. I received an email reminding me to show up, then I got a text message reminder as well. OK let me start by saying today wasn't my first time at a testing center, I've been to many. Let me also say that there aren't a ton of PSI testing centers to choose from, several yes but not a ton. This center happened to be closest to my house but when looking at reviews here, I was really concerned about some of the reviews and was considering driving to the east bay for the highest rated one. Despite my concerns I scheduled my test at this location. So other's don't worry... I have to counter some other people's comments about this location. 1. It is super easy to find especially when you have GPS in your car or a phone with GPS (doesn't everyone?) or an Uber app where you enter in the address which you should already have. At least ISACA had the suite number listed as part of the address. You don't even need to go up stairs or change floors, all you have to do it look at the sign on the walk and walk to the right in the direction the arrow is pointing down the hall and you'll be there. The building was nice with A LOT of off street parking in their private lot, clean and there is a really nice fountain in the lobby. It's on the building entrance level so NOT difficult to find. 2. The staff was very pleasant, efficient, clear with their direction and friendly. They answered questions I had about what I could bring in like can I bring in my foam earplugs? (Essentially you can't bring anything in but your body and your clothing and shoes (no jackets or hoodies of course) and the key to my locker) gave me a locker to place my things, signed me in and took me to my desk for the test. My test was scheduled for 9. I arrived at 8:30 and started taking my test by 8:45 at the latest. The rudest people there were other impatient test takers... not the staff. The testing area is clean. The chair was a decent normal office chair that even after 4 hours wasn't killing my butt so kudos. For my test, (all tests can have different allowances) but on the desk for my test there was a pair of earplugs sealed in their own package! Nice, two sharpened pencils and a sheet of scratch paper AND a pair of headphones for additional noise isolation. Who could ask for anything more. I was thinking why do they need both earplugs and earphones but the earplugs (probably for safety reasons) do allow a little bit of noise in and I'm thinking that would be in case of a fire alarm or whatever where you would need to hear the alert and instructions but they did a good job regardless. The room was warm enough that my hoodie wasn't necessary but not too hot that I was sweating. The only improvements I could recommend would be to arrange the desks facing away from the door and increase the height of the desk walls to block out those minor peripheral distractions. If I had the height of my chair raised all the way (because I'm a tall guy) in my peripheral vision I could see the door open when other test takers were entering the testing area and I could see other test takers hands sometimes when they were stretching or standing when they were completed. Other than that it was a great experience and I couldn't have asked for much more from a testing center and its staff. The test center is nice and clean, and of course for the money they charge you for $83 they have to provide locker and parking. Computers are pretty old and slow, staff are not as friendly as they need to be. They don't educate you about the next steps after you either pass or fail the exam. After I pass my exam he just print the paper without any nice gesture and gave me a paper about my finger print, he did not mention about where I can find my ORI number to schedule my fingerprint. I had to waste one whole day on the phone to get a hold of PSI center to get that number. Very poor customer service, unprofessional staff. They need to learn if they work at that site they have to keep their positive attitude and smile to keep the good vibes in that stressful time. Make sure, after you pass you get your ORI number that needs to be printed on a separate paper in order to schedule your finger print. Good luck read more

This is ridiculous! I called the same day to make sure they open until 4:30pm. I was coming all the way from oakland to get here. Uber is expensive,I got here at 4:13pm, they told me is wrong information, I am sorry its closed. Plus the book that the PSI sent me the address suite number is wrong. I ran around the building like crazy. The securiry guy downstair pointing me the wrong direction as well. Nothing is just working.They shouldve updated. I paid so much fee to get my license transfer, this is how people get paid to work.This is ridiculous! The stuff dont want to pick up phone call either. PSI Testing has amazing customer service when you can get ahold of them. For a company to be the main contracted company for a service you rarely or never get treated right but in this case Ronald and Brenda went above and beyond to alleviate my issue and created a solution immediately to address my concerns. Ronald you calmed me down and helped me out alot. You should take pride in the positive effect you can have on people. My family is relying on me to get my GC and provide a better life for us. A day later Brenda from PSI called me and made sure my issue was resolved also. She then took the time to give me some tips an explained the procees and I feel extremely grateful to both of them and I rarely run into such quality customer service and cars. I made a mistake on the computer when scheduling my GC test for Arizona and was stressed out that not only would I be paying for both test again but would also have to wait 30 days to retake the test. You both deserve special recognition even though you both just said you were doing your job. JOb WELL DONE. read more

Worst experience ever. I called many times and none of the reps gave me the right info. I needed to schedule my test for insurance and schedule my fingerprinting. They didn't tell me i had to call a different # to schedule fingerprinting 24 hours prior to taking the test. I had to take additional time off work and reschedule everything. When i asked to talk with a manager they had me on hold for 30 minutes before i finally hung up. So frustrating. read more

Looks like we are not the only people to have been treated like absolute dirt by these incredibly rude, disheveled, unprofessional people. My husband was unable to take his test due to a problem on their end and has received no apology, just rudeness. They seem to think the test takers are working for them, not the other way around. Save your time and money and go to a different testing center, and hope that upper management wakes up and replaces these horrible people. read more

absolutely awful. if i could give zero or even negative stars, i promise you i would. customer service is nonexistent, when you finally get to talk to someone, they are rude and unhelpful. the staff at the actual testing facilities all very clearly hate their jobs and even had the guts to tell me (as a customer using their testing facility) that they think their customer service is terrible and they feel bad for having to refer people to customer service. it should truly be a felony offence to run a company this way. read more

I attempted to take a Microsoft exam here today, and I encountered the same issues as Darek T. (12/7/13). I waited an hour and a half while the staff attempted to fix this, at which point I had to leave because I had no more time to waste sitting around. Although the staff said that this "usually" doesn't happen (depends what you mean by usually, and really, even once is too much ...) I don't recommend that anyone come here for anything Microsoft-related. read more

If i could give this place a negative five stars i would. I have my exam this month and went there to make sure i knew where it was, etc. Long story short the two nasty older women there acted like they had no idea what i was talking about, finally they said it was PSI. Due to their lack of clarity, i inquired if they adminstered the particular exam i was taking. More hemming and hawing. I had explained why i was there. There was no testing going on at the time. There were windows into the testing room, and i moved to one to look in and ask if that was where the exam was administered. She freaked at that point and raised her voice at me telling me, 'no mam! We're trying to work here!' She scared the crap out of the young females sitting there waiting for something. And shocked me, i simply left. She acted like i was a criminal! If they didnt want me to look in she could have calmly said so and explained or posted a sign or PSI could tell you not to bother. Something other than the rediculous display of power tripping that i experienced. I cannot imagine how these people could be employed there. If you cant talkto people perhaps you shouldnt be in a job requiring that. Time to retire ladies! (And i use that term extremely loosely here). read more
