The place is pretty scenic. It has a large main hall, a large lake, lots of space. With beautiful trees, including an outdoor area with seating for an outdoor wedding. It has a cute double bungulo bridal suit in the far back as well. One thing I will say is that GPS doesn't really find the location well. I will also note that our Uber driver was not sure how far up the road to go either. The location just drops off. There is a small sign on the main road near the entrance. If it's dark, you may miss it. But if during the day, you should be able to see it.

The innkeeper showed us to our room, the master suite, and after we brought our luggage inside, we had a tea party on the veranda, which our kids really loved. Eva, the innkeeper, and Madison, her helper, had great conversation with us as our kids played hide-n-seek before going to the front pond/lake to skip stones off of the bridge. Our room was so spacious, and the bathroom was huge as well. It has a full jacuzzi/hot tub for a bathroom and the walk-in shower has two shower heads and a hand-held shower as well. The bed was incredibly comfortable. In the morning, breakfast was served and both mornings the food was delicious. Eva also gave us some great local places to eat as well. All-in-all, our stay was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Clothes, collectibles, everything old and new, custom-made items, food items just everything. Prices are excellent. I promise you will not leave empty handed. I can also guarantee you will find something you will love. The location is overlooking the Mississippi River and they even offer a porch to sit and relax if you wish. Totally enjoyable place.

We put a $500 deposit for wedding before Cvoid-19 then everything started happening and all events began closing. They refuse to give me back deposit saying they are just a small mom and pop business and cannot give it back because of there contract. They tried telling me I could just reschedule my event which should have broke the contract because it's not the day we agreed on.Every other business gave me back my deposit and understood the circumstances. I will never do business with these people again all they want is your money and dont care about you or your event
