All wood floors, a beautiful bathroom, and indoor bar. There is also a huge deck with a stage for the band. I went here for an association event and we had burgers and crawfish. It's great in the summer because there is a lot of open space for outdoor activities (e.g. giant slides, basketball, kickball, etc.). For those who don't like being outside like me, there are also a couple of large indoor spaces with kitchen areas and plenty of seating. This is definitely one of the better event spaces in the area...highly recommend!!

But it could be an event space for other types of occasions as well. I wish I had taken more pics of the grounds! Most of mine are related to the wedding or the wedding party, so I won't post those. The place is pretty scenic. It has a large main hall, a large lake, lots of space. With beautiful trees, including an outdoor area with seating for an outdoor wedding. It has a cute double bungulo bridal suit in the far back as well. One thing I will say is that GPS doesn't really find the location well. I will also note that our Uber driver was not sure how far up the road to go either. The location just drops off. There is a small sign on the main road near the entrance. If it's dark, you may miss it. But if during the day, you should be able to see it.

When we were in Delhi, LA we decided to stay at the Mansion at Red Hill. I've been wanted to visit…read morePoverty Point World Heritage Site, and this was a great place to stay that is about 15 minutes from there. The innkeeper showed us to our room, the master suite, and after we brought our luggage inside, we had a tea party on the veranda, which our kids really loved. Eva, the innkeeper, and Madison, her helper, had great conversation with us as our kids played hide-n-seek before going to the front pond/lake to skip stones off of the bridge. Our room was so spacious, and the bathroom was huge as well. It has a full jacuzzi/hot tub for a bathroom and the walk-in shower has two shower heads and a hand-held shower as well. The bed was incredibly comfortable. In the morning, breakfast was served and both mornings the food was delicious. Eva also gave us some great local places to eat as well. All-in-all, our stay was amazing and exceeded our expectations.
