He had an awful experience with a groomer in the past so he tends to be an anxious guy. His last groom was extra special to me because he let them complete it and looked amazing! He also was the calmest I've seen him ever leave a groomer before. They also groomed my long haired cat! It was my first time trying it and she looks so nice! Her fur is extra soft too and I also loved that they work with cats but much like anxious dogs, told me they wouldn't push a cat's groom if they were too stressed about it. She also was absolutely fine coming home too. Just all around a wonderful place that I'm lucky to have near me! Couldn't recommend them enough and I totally understand why you have to book well in advance to get an appointment. They're a really special find!

Dr. McQuiddy was very knowledgeable when it came to hedgehogs and he was very comfortable with her. Unfortunately my hedgehog was diagnosed with oral cancer and we had to put her down. It was my first time ever experiencing this and as sad as the situation was, Dr. McQuiddy and all of his staff made us feel as comfortable as possible. They really made this sad situation as pleasant as possible. From me walking in the door and the front desk staff immediately showing me comfort to me going back in the room and the compassion Dr. McQuiddy and his vet tech showed me. I've been buying my dog and cat supplies from Beaufort Pet Provisions for three years now. My…read morefirst visit to their store in Beaufort was much more than I had expected. I had just moved to town from Raleigh. I was looking for a place to buy my pet products, preferably from mom and pop kind of place. I was looking for a specific glucosamine treat that they didn't carry. The owner special ordered some for me and has since kept them in stock, I like to think for me though I've been told it's a popular product for them. My dog has Lupus and requires a strict diet and I'm always assured they will keep a fresh inventory. Yesterday I went in, totally unannounced, to pick up some more food for my dog. They already had a bag behind the counter with my name on it. There's also the occasional freebie but that's not why I continue to buy all of my dog and cat supplies there. They care, they want my business and they show it, as I'm sure they do with all of their customers. They provide a personalized service that you'll never get at one of those big box stores. If you'll take the time to visit their store on Turner Street in Beaufort, I'm sure they'll make you feel as welcome as they have me. Pete Owens Morehead City, NC
