Beyond having amazing reviews that highlighted Ryan's great communication and super professional team, we really liked how Ryan used innovative techniques like flying a drone over the ceremony site to capture a different perspective. When we reached out to Ryan, we got an immediate response and a list of his pricing. Ryan let us know that he worked a lot at our venue, Green Gables Wedding Estate, and knew the staff and how they operated really well. This was awesome news for us since it meant less to coordinate on our end! It was super easy to find the best video package for us and there were even video extras like a "best wishes video" from our guests which was a fun addition. Throughout the process, Ryan's communication was superb and helped keep us on track. A few weeks before the wedding, Ryan sent us a reminder email with items he needed from us for the big day so we didn't overlook anything. On the day of, Ryan and Zack (his second shooter) were super personable and friendly which made the video experience fun and not awkward like you might assume it would be. Even though it was the first time they worked with our photography team, they did a great job of looking for opportunities to get video while we were posed for photos so we didn't have to duplicate poses. We both felt like rockstars with the prompts they gave us and are so excited to see the final video. We would definitely recommend anyone looking for an awesome videographer to use Ryan. The main regret we hear from other married couples is that they did not get a videographer for their wedding day. DON'T BE THAT COUPLE! My wife and I were married in March 2025 and initially contracted Ryan Films for a teaser and highlight video. We received the teaser and were very pleased with it. Based on the quality of that work, we then paid for an additional cinematic video so we could more fully relive our wedding day. However, the highlight video and full cinematic video have still not been delivered--now over one year later. We were informed of a personal emergency via a third party and responded with patience and understanding. Over the following months, we made several attempts to follow up but received no response. After continued non-delivery, we requested the raw footage as an alternative. In February, a team member, Madi, confirmed the footage had been shipped and provided a tracking number; however, the label was created and the package was never sent. We have not received any updates since, despite repeated follow-ups. These videos are incredibly important to us and contain irreplaceable memories, including moments with loved ones who are no longer with us. We trusted Ryan Films to capture our wedding day and asked guests not to record, believing those memories would be preserved through their work. We entered into this agreement in good faith, and while the teaser we received was beautiful, the lack of delivery and communication since has been extremely disappointing. We hope this matter is resolved, but if not, we are prepared to pursue further action, including legal remedies.

This is an area I knew nothing about and when I start my new business I am confident this knowledge will be useful. The workshop was lead by John Toma. John knows his stuff and is excellent with articulating his knowledge and helping you apply it. This was a hands on workshop and we had the opportunity to use different lighting techniques and help each other solve shadow problems etc. We also took a tour of the studio and I loved it. We were told more workshops are coming and they have a lot of equipment that can be used for a portrait sitting. Upstairs they have a music recording studio, it was very cool to be in a recording studio for the first time. They are getting busy, so if you want to use this studio make sure to book it way in advance. I am looking forward to the next workshop here!!

We had our wedding in August of 2025, and the videography Charlie and his team provided was way…read morebeyond my expectations. We were a last-minute booking for him and his team. Charlie was able to find a person to cover our wedding just a couple days before the wedding date. He has excellent examples of different styles of videography they could provide and what that pricing would look like. Charlie's website is perfectly user-friendly and was precise in their package descriptions and pricing. We personally did not want cinematic style videography that would require a lot of editing on their end. We wanted raw footage that we could keep for generations to show to our future children and grandchildren. The videographer did a phenomenal job at recording the ceremony and some of the reception in an authentic way that encapsulated the feeling of one of the greatest days of our lives. The videographer that covered our wedding, Stephen Daniels, had an exceptional understanding of Charlie's expectations on customer service. Charlie was constantly responsive before the big day and clear about when we should expect the files after the wedding. When he offered additional services in the emails, he presented it in a way that demonstrated his genuine care for weddings and events and not just an "upsell." I could see Charlie's customer service extend to Stephen. Stephen and Charlie knew we went with the most affordable package. Even so, Stephen set up a higher quality microphone and brought two cameras for backup. Charlie's website explains other services he could provide such as DJ-ing. Luckily, my husband is a DJ, but we did have quite a few live singers at our reception. Although we could not afford the microphone package for sound on the live singers, Stephen took the time out of recording to help one of the live singers with their sound quality on their devices. Our wedding was genuinely a DIY wedding ran by the power of Hashem and our community. When Stephen walked into the ceremony space, the most prominent visual part of our wedding, the Chuppah, a canopy in which many Jewish ceremonies take place was not set up. Stephen took time to help our friends and staff with the chuppah. Charlie and Stephen were not required to go beyond expectations, but they did that and then some. Although Charlie markets his work as "cheap videography," he certainly does not cheap out on the quality of their customer service and work. We contacted Extreme DJ about a year prior to our wedding. We talked to Alex who was incredibly responsive and helpful. He walked us through the packages and the process upfront. One reason we picked them was their broad selection of DJs, the way they let us actually select who to match with, and the fact that they were ok with explicit songs at our request, when other DJ groups were not. We told Alex what we were looking for (type of music vibe, bilingual DJs, etc) and he gave us a few DJs to look into. They all had mix samples which led us to picking Jesse. Jesse met with us a few times prior to our wedding and made sure we had all details settled. When we weren't super sure about things, he gave us playlists and other recommendations to help us decide. He was incredibly patient with us especially as we were indecisive about a few things and changed things along the way. On the day of, it was honestly the best experience we could've ever asked for. Jesse checked in with us right at grand entrance to kick things off, and continued to do so throughout the night. The flow of the program was great and his mixes were even better. We had a very diverse guest group and everyone felt welcomed with how he handled the music and emceeing.
