This was a great experience and we now keep their business card on the fridge for future reference…read more Shortly after moving into our new home, our gas oven was filling the kitchen with gas, which prompted our neighborhood to then fill with emergency vehicles - quite a way to meet the neighbors. We feared that we would need to replace a $2500 appliance. I stopped by Moore Appliance to see if this is something they could take a look at. They set me up with an appointment for the next day "between 12 and 5." The technician called at 12:00 to let us know he was on the way, and he arrived about 10 minutes later. He immediately determined the previous occupants used oven cleaner, which clogged the burner and the gas intake. He explained you should not use oven cleaner on a gas over for this reason. He cleaned it out, tested the oven several times, and answered all of our questions. Super helpful, very professional, and much cheaper and easier than replacing the oven.

We called Kevin this morning, he arrived before 2pm, already prepared with the part he figured we might need. He was excellent in every respect, fixed the refrigerator and even cleaned the coils underneath I HIGHLY recommend Kevin to anyone. The so called self identified "Owner" (He may have been untruthful) is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. He didn't like what I reported to AHS, so he took it upon himself to text me personally. Hours after his failed attempt to install my new cooktop, just before bed, my phone lit up about my review, which was simply facts. Again, this was not a contractor that I chose, he was sent by my home warranty company. Kevin was slightly threatening, texting me: "You know we get a copy of that right???" (My review to my home warranty company.) Ummm... ok? I reminded him that MY OPINION is just that. An opinion. A recount of MY experience with him. (Kevin). I would be remissed if I didn't mention that my family is Black, and we live in a gated community which is predominantly white. His demeanor was a painful reminder that 'strange fruit' still grow, and I simply couldn't forget it hours after his departure. I won't waste time with the blah blah about not pulling the race card. Unfortunately thats EXACTLY what this was, and I have NO problem saying so. while I didn't visibly see a white pillowcase, I certainly felt it. He will be further reported to AHS. Everyone has choices, and he made an extremely unprofessional one.

He sent a technician named Roy (who no showed 2 times before showing up) from another company called DW appliance, who tried to secure it nailing in brackets but cracked my molding on both sides, left without securing it or even notifying me the job wasn't done. He told me it was secured. Quans retuned today weeks later, after promising me on the phone he would glue and paint the molding. He returned and put brackets on to secure it but did not repair the molding as promised, then stated there's nothing that can be done. Not responsive when asking for a refund. Completely cracked on both sides and looks terrible. Will be contacting yelp and the BBB
