Dr. Hakim takes her time to explain things thoroughly. Looking forward to working with her in the future.

God forbid you have Multiple Sclerosis, which causes urinary urgency for my husband, and you have to make one extra stop on the way to your appointment than you had already planned for... and than have to use the restroom one last time on the first floor before going up to the second floor with your walker causing you to arrive for your appointment late to see your neurologist for this exact condition. They showed no compassion for everything it took you to trek across town in dreary rainy conditions with all of our health challenges and simply have no problem telling us you have arrived late you will need to make another appointment we cannot see you today. I explained our situation to them and they did not have any empathy for our challenges. All we got from the neurologist (doctor) , medical assistant and the front desk attendant were sorry that's our policy. As many times as we patiently sat waiting beyond our appointment time to be called back to be seen by this same medical staff we never once saw a sign warning us of this policy. I am disgusted by these apparent health care professionals.

If you are a woman approaching menopause, you need to go here immediately!!! This is functional…read moremedicine at its finest! I have been seeing Nurse Pam or Kimberly twice a year for 2 or 3 years to stay on top of my changing body's needs. These practitioners do NOT: 1. Just guess at what you need. 2. Treat your symptoms with synthetic big pharma chemicals 3. Make you take a crap ton of expensive supplements for the rest of your life, and not even help you understand why you're taking them 4. Chalk up all your symptoms as "just part of the aging process" and expect you to just accept it. They will conduct a thorough blood panel (Eric is the most phenomenal phlebotomist! You will love him!) and then they look very carefully at all your numbers and they address each one methodically: For example: Likely you have a vitamin D deficiency Likely you have a vitamin B deficiency Likely you need magnesium Likely you need to clean up your gut! Maybe you need to bump up some of your hormones-- they are on the cutting edge of menopause medical science (aka Dr Mary Claire Haver!!!) They will monitor you every six months and adjust your regimen. Accordingly, even taking things off that you don't need anymore or finding you great alternatives that cost less.... I have felt better and better every year and feel more and more in control of my health and vitality as I age! Thank you Forum Health!

Waited 20 minutes in an empty lobby--which is honestly fast for this location--and was seen by a nurse, who took all of the patient history and symptoms. When the PA came in later--I don't know if they even have any doctors on staff despite their advertisements because I know I've never seen one--she asked all the same questions again to a nearly unconscious, lethargic, and crying patient. It was three minutes before she said "go see a neurologist," gave us a phone number for Beaumont's cardiac care, and was ready to walk out the door without explaining her reasoning or thought process for any of it. Again, no doctors on staff to prescribe medication. I've been put through the wringer with the healthcare system since I was eight years old. Strokes, surgery, epilepsy, every different kind of "therapy" there is in Medical School 101. I've seen blunt doctors, mean doctors, doctors who are too careful and end up misdiagnosing in unneeded precaution. But Carol Greer was none of these things; she admitted she wasn't interested in pursuing any further testing because "you guys came to the urgent care." The more I learn about Corewell, the more I hate it. Between the mass firings, union busting, and tele-doctors, I would have been better off driving to Detroit or Ann Arbor and getting help. In the past, I've spent hours in this building only to be shunted off to the ER or given two tablets of Tylenol to take with dinner, so don't expect anything other than that. I hate to sound like a Karen, but if you're thinking about coming here, just go to Royal Urgent Care, Henry Ford, or honestly your family member who's a doctor instead; you'd get better advice out of Doc McStuffins than you'd get from here.

I cannot rave about this practice loud enough. Dr. Little and his team (especially Ken Garian, PA)…read moreare relentless in finding solutions to complicated health problems. Their knowledge and personalities make this a practice that everyone should go to! They are at the very forefront of knowledge about current treatment options for chronic conditions. They often know about new treatments well before other practitioner's in the area. Most impressively, they don't just know that the treatment options exist - they are able to administer them! I am amazed at the amount of time they spend with you at each visit. it is not uncommon for the Dr./PA's to spend 30 minutes or longer with you, especially if you have questions. They talk with you, not at you, explain both illnesses and their treatment in great detail and in plain English. You have a conversation with them. They get to know you.Their follow-up is amazing. Perhaps the thing I like most is the fact that they are extremely proactive about monitoring your overall health and preventative medicine. I've never felt more genuinely cared about by a doctor! I am not a patient there - I am a person with feelings, emotions, etc. All are listened to and attended to. Without getting too verbose, I credit Dr. Little with single-handedly saving my mother's life because of his diligence in finding solutions. My mother had been misdiagnosed by multiple doctors and was admitted to the hospital very close to death. Dr. Little's diligence identified the problem, and was able to stabilize her, and get her on the road to recovery. I truly believe that my mom would no longer be with us if it was not for him! If you want someone that won't stop working with you until you have answers and are feeling as good as you can, then make Dr. Little your doctor!

Without any warning, I was abandoned by my provider, Kenneth Garian (PA) & Dr. James Little (MD). The blatant disregard for my health, feelings and overall wellbeing was extremely hurtful.

Avoid Dr. Ehrmann at all costs!…read more I saw him for a couple years and everything was fine. In the winter, I asked for an increase in my antidepressants, and instead of increasing them, he completely took me off the medication that I had been on for years. Cold turkey. If anyone knows anything about antidepressants, that's a huge no-no. I had HORRIBLE horrible withdrawal symptoms from Dr Ehrmann not weaning me off me medication at all. I contacted him several times asking to be put back on my medication, because I became suicidal, lost my job, and almost became homeless. All he said was "it's going to be rough for a few weeks." I had paperwork that i needed filled out so that I could at least get on disability, and Dr Ehrmann never filled it out. One week, I had a follow up appointment that I had to reschedule due to my son being ill. I called the office, left a message, and also responded to the text message reminder, which said to reply "no" if you needed to reschedule. I was able to get a different appointment, and when I showed up for that, I was informed that Dr Ehrmann was discharging me from his practice for not showing up to my last appointment - that I called and rescheduled with no issue. He discharged me, never did my disability paperwork, and never cared if I was going to be ok or not. He should not be practicing anymore. If he's not able to handle certain conditions, he needs to refer his patients to someone who can. He never once gave me any referrals to a psychiatrist, even after he told me he didn't know much about mental health disorders. Him taking me off my medications cold turkey quite literally destroyed my career, my life, and my home. I'm writing this not to be malicious, but as a warning that this man should not have a medical license and should be avoided at all costs if you want your health taken seriously.
