I signed up the site to find a buyer agent and Rich contacted me that evening, Thanksgiving evening! He spent quite a bit of time asking exactly what I was looking for and set me up with a website I could log into to see condos that met my criteria. I found ones that I wanted to look at, we met and looked at a few places. I found a place I liked, he helped me with negotiation then helped me find a great home inspector and an excellent lawyer. He helped me with any questions I had, which I had more than a few, and I've got a condo now! I recommend Rich and the Harty Group. I was a bit afraid that since I was looking for a cheaper place, that I wouldn't get the best help or that I would need to pay out of pocket for an agent, but there was no need to worry. I am so pleased with the service Rich provided! He really knows his stuff and seems to enjoy doing what he does, helping people find their new home.

He has the perfect balance of offering tips, ideas, and plans, without being pushy in any way. He also preempts a lot that you then don't have to worry about. He knows both the city of Chicago and the suburbs and was able to help us as we made MANY MANY pivots. Highly recommend for home purchasing. I'll also say (and I think this is as important as the actual home buying elements) that Bucky is a great person. He's nice to be around, he's nice to talk to, he's nice to include in family discussions and decisions. These things are as important if not more than the "are these windows new enough" conversations. I can't say enough nice things about Bucky and how pleased we were that we used him. He was a great value, great find, and stellar part of what otherwise would've been an extremely stressful/competitive process. 6/5 stars!

Not only was Bucky patient with me as a first time home buyer, but he was there every step of the way after I decided on a place... inspection, walk-throughs, mortgage process, lawyers, etc. I had approximately 1,000 questions about the whole process and Bucky was quick to answer, or find the answer to all of my concerns. He even called around to help me find a handyman to give me a quote for some needed repairs! You can't spell "awesome" without vowels and consonants, and you can't spell Bucky without those either... coincidence? I think not! As a single woman and first time home buyer, I was hesitant at first to meet with a Realtor by myself. Bucky was quick to put me at ease, and his witty sense of humor made the entire process enjoyable. He's a snappy dresser too, so whenever we went to look at places, people thought we were posh and fabulous. Bucky is the total Realtor package. If you're looking for a home/condo/apartment in the Chicago area, call him! You'll be so happy you did.

Michael always answered promptly and in ways that made it easy for us to understand. If there was something confusing, he breaks everything down in great detail. He was great at making us feel comfortable enough to ask him anything at anytime! Not only is he knowledgeable about the ins and outs of realty but he has a great eye for seeing the positives and negatives in homes. He pointed out things at houses that we never would have seen on our own. After seeing multiple houses that were not a fit for us, he always had an optimistic attitude reassuring us that the perfect house for us is out there. He was right! When we found the home we loved, Michael was involved every step of the way. We had a few frustrating hiccups along the way with the seller but Michael handled it all very gracefully. He kept in touch with the seller and updated us as often as he could. We could not have gotten thru those frustrating moments without Michael. In the end, everything worked out! Michael was even able to renegotiate our agreed price to a lower one! That was a pleasant surprise for us! I have been working with Mark for 12 years and have bought and sold multiple properties with him…read more He is an absolutely fantastic real estate agent to work with, 100% recommended. What impresses me most about Mark is that he puts his client's interest above his own. As a buyer, he helps you negotiate the price down even though that's less money in his pocket. As a seller he helps you walk away from deals that are not in your best interest, even though it means a lot more work for him. In my most recent sale with Mark, I lived 6 hours away so it was difficult for me to do everything that needed to be done with the property to be ready. Mark was instrumental in working with contractors, working with tenants, showing the building, communicating with me, and generally working his butt off to get the deal done. Amazing. And if that's not enough, Mark has a tremendous team behind him. He has great people that he works with like contractors, lawyers, mortgage brokers, and property inspectors, that are instrumental to the process. If you choose to work with Mark, I'm confident that you'll be happy that you did.

From our initial interview, Lance showed that he understood the market, appreciated our home's position in that market, and would use all his experience and expertise to get our home sold quickly and at a good price. In all fairness, Lance did say we had a great product to sell, i.e., a completely remodeled ranch home in a desirable neighborhood, a home he described as, "warm and rich." Given that, we just don't see how anyone could have worked any harder or done more to attract buyers. Lance started by contacting his team's list of buyers who were looking. Then, he placed our home on the Private Network. We began showing immediately. By the time we got to actual listing on the MLS, we had over thirty showings and six offers. Our home was on the MLS for one day and we accepted an all-cash, no contingency offer 13% above our asking price. Of course, you may have a different experience depending on what you have to sell and where it is. Maybe our outcome was just exceptional. Regardless, we were totally pleased with our choice of Realtors and believe you will have your best shot with Lance and his team.
