She will lie, cheat, and deceive you to make money. She does not have your best interest in mind. She will try to turn you and your significant other against each other to make money. The broker at this business is equally to blame. His name is Paul Wells and he was made aware of the situation and allowed his agent to operate with the intention of deceiving their clients. DO NOT HIRE THEM. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY.

We choose John after listing with several other agents that simply did not get it done. After researching realtors we found John ranked the best in Barrington and the country which is what we wanted in this challenging market. We then visited his website, put our name in and he personally contacted us immediately, which assured us that he was trully on top of his business. He worked so hard to get our home sold and helped our buyers through the process when their own Redfin agent was no where to be found, he made a very challenging sale easier for all. We downsized to a smaller home in Barrington and John helped us make the perfect choice with this home as well, others talked about making it happen, John made it happen. Great job, thanks again to John Morrison and his team!

Flight was delayed 2 hrs. but my realtor was in communication with Kim and we were still scheduled to see a particular home that was listed as ACTIVE. We finally arrive and we can't open the lockbox. After back and forth texts with my realtor Kim tells her that the house went under contract 10 min. earlier. Not only that, there were 5 other offers on the home so clearly they should not have been wasting people's time with showings if they had multiple buyers. We rushed to get there, and let's be clear, there's a lot driving involved when looking in Barrington. Not only did she NOT come out of the gate to apologize, but she doubled down, even stating the clients wanted to still entertain offers. Here's the deal, unless your clients are also realtors then YOU are the professional (though she was anything but that) and it's your responsibility to educate them that it would be irresponsible to have people continue to schedule visits to a house they have no chance of owning. This particular property is stunning when you first arrive so there's an emotional reaction immediately have as well. As a buyer you already start to picture yourself there. You have zero clue that not only are they going under contract but there are backup offers and you haven't a chance. Now, if Kim wanted to disclose any of this and we still wanted to see the property then that's OUR decision, but she made it for us. SO UNprofessional. And, as we continue our home search IF I happen to see that Kim is the listing agent I will look elsewhere. She needs a refresher in ethics.

This agent seems mentally incapable to keep track of the situation, inebriated or just plain uninterested. Made appointments on wrong day, didn't show up for showings, which was a key contributing factor in making her the listing agent. Unless your looking for an agent that is going to scold you and do the minimal amount of work to help you during the selling process, forget it. Interesting this is the first review. Maybe there was a different page prior and removed for bad reviews. Would not surprise me in he least.

When we got home from Florida, most lights were on, most blinds were open, the front door curtains had been removed, the back door and side door were unlocked and the lockbox on the front door was open with the keys exposed. We believe we lost a contract on the house because of our broker's actions and inactions, and took it off the market over a month ago. Both the broker, Robin Chessick, and her managing broker, Christopher Stephens, have refused to terminate our listing agreement although Robin had advised that they would terminate it at no cost and Christopher refused to respond to many communications. Christopher sent a letter to our attorney telling him that he was giving us bad legal advice and that he needed to work with them to get us to go forward on another deal, otherwise, it would look like jameson did something wrong on the first deal. He sent the letter to our attorney's partner, presumably to get him in trouble. I have been a real estate attorney for over 30 years, yet Christopher thinks he knows more about real estate law than me. Our property sits in limbo during a hot seller's market as Jameson has taken the property off the market and we are still waiting for Jameson to agree to terminate the listing agreement so we can list with a new brokerage company. If they don't, we won't be able to re-list until July. We believe that Jameson always put their own interest of a quick sale over our best interests, including asking their clients to sign a staging agreement which protects the stager, not their clients.
