I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.

I reached out to this Rent 1 Sale 1 in order to get help with finding an apartment, and Joan was assigned to "help me" when we spoke she let me know the required documentation that would be needed by the association. When I send over the Information in order to verify my income and employment, I let her know my company provides this information through theworknumber.com and I had called and created a salary key which would be needed in order for her to retrieve that information. She responded very rudely and said "I don't spend my time documents, those things are given to me, so I'm not going to do all that." I explained to her that I had called my job and they instructed me to send over info for the verifier in order to securely get my employment and income information. I told her I was not allowed to do it myself and send it over through email because it violates Fair credit reporting rights, and her response was "how will they know, just email it to me because I'm not going to do all that." She then proceeded to tell me she likes to use analogies "do you know judge judge, we'll when she asks people for evidence and they don't have it, she can't help them and that's exactly how I work".... She honestly treated me very unfairly because I spent hours calling my job in order to get all the information necessary. I don't understand how someone like her can work in a field where she doesn't want to help people. I hope someone can give her some training in how to talk to people professionally and respectfully.
